Fantastic experience: Have been taking Yoga all summer in top resort in CA. I’m back here in AZ now . The senior yoga class here today was far superior to the ones I took at the ( very expensive) resort. The coach here was better in terms of mix of stretching and breathing and rapport with attendees. Positive experience: This has been my gym for over 2 yrs .i joined for the pool classes but i have one complaint and i speak for most of class . The pool water is soooo COLD we’ve all complained many times with nothing being done. When we joined they told us that a steady 84-85 temp for pool . It’s so cold that we can enjoy our class because we’re moving and moving to keep warm. We won’t even talk about leg cramps we deal with from the cold .! We’ve been ignored b the YOUNG staff repeatedly . I’ve had enough and might start checking out other gym pools . Please, please look into this I LOVE OUR GYM !

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to VASA for a year and half now after I left EOS. The staff, Sakyra Oliver, are so friendly and greet you every time you check in or are on the floor working out! I feel like it’s a family VIBE compared to the gyms I’ve gone to before where staff won’t even make eye contact with you. I moved 20 minutes away from the gym recently, but I will keep my membership, and the drive is well worth it! I recommend this gym to everybody I talk to!

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. This company will do anything to hide behind their “corporate policies”. First off what gym/company has a policy that they cannot do anything about your bill/payments at the location. They make you call a phone number and talk to who knows. If this magical phone number cannot help you then they tell you to email a customer service email that says they will get back to you in 3 to 5 business days. This is just absolutely awful customer service but just wait there is more!! My girl friend is type 1 diabetic which means her body does not create insulin to regulate her blood sugar. This gym said because of “corporate policy” they will not put a MEDICAL exemption in place for her in case she has a blood problem and physically cannot make it into work out. We loved the HIIT classes they provided but instead have having any type of customer service work around for a MEDICAL reason they would rather charge her when she cannot make it. This is absolutely disgusting that a gym, a place to get healthy would treat someone with a health condition like this. Y’all should be ashamed!!!
Negative experience: I signed up because the facility looked clean and new. However- the hours the kids club is open doesn’t align with my schedule. They nickel and dime for everything. You have to make an appointment for the kids club and then if you’re late, they charge you three dollars, You need to scan your card to get into the basketball court and the sauna. They pick and choose who they want to pick on, as one week in they followed my family around like the Feds and made my 4 year old get off the court like a screaming criminal. After one week I cancelled and will be going back to lifetime which is more of a family friendly gym. All Members can access the gym and pool at lifetime. This gym is more for people on a budget and not families. They only retained my family for one week.

Negative experience: There's a 40 year blonde chic in this place that openly complains about men not dating her "because she has a kid" She has literally pointed them out multiple times. It's off putting behavior to deal with, and it would give the impression that she's trying to ruin the reputation of your other members.

Fantastic experience: I have two words "Studio Red". The classes are awesome and it is a great way for me to breakup my workout routine.
Negative experience: So sad that I had to cancel my memberships, I really enjoyed my time and allowed my teenage kids to work out there too, but someone started harassing my teenage daughter, this drew the attention of all the other members on that part of the floor. She was using a machine that had a identical machine next to it but this older guy started staring and talking trash to a teenage girl to intimidate her and force her off her machine, even though there was one next to her that was open. Other members came to confront this guy more than a few times and everyone in the gym was taking notice. She calls me hiding in the girls locker room crying and afraid to come out cause they wouldn't make this guy leave. I arrived a few minutes later and she meets me upfront. I talk to the manager and she is only going through manager speak, not listening or caring about much outside of "corporate policy" which states that she cant do anything but fill out a incident report. I found out this guys new to the gym, he is still there and they are not doing anything more than filling out paper work. She said if he did this again then they would cancel his membership....(maybe)? So there going to wait until soemone else is harrased and intimidated before they do anything...why? When I asked that question to the manager she insisted that is corporate policy. Then told me that she wouldn't tolerate being disrespected... So my teenage daughter gets harassed, confronted by this guy, other members have to help her out until she chooses to get away from this guy who wouldn't leave her alone even after being confronted by several other members and employees and they are going to make sure he stays and wait until it happens again before doing anything? When I spoke to the manager with frustration about this she said that I was being disrespectful...I told her that either she was going to cancel this guys membership today, now, or I would be canceling mine and my daughter's. She smiled her smile and said she cant because of corporate policy. Showing more frustration about knowing this person is going to do this again and I wont have myself or children be waiting around for him to do it again before something takes place per 'corporate policy'. I explained to the manager that I had been a member for some time, had a personal trainer during my physical therapy sessions and had no plans on leaving or canceling. But its a shame she wont do anything about it until someone else is victimized by a member who was still present at the time of our departure. So corporate policy at VASA is protect the people harassing teenage girls and ensure they have enough time to victimize another person then do something (maybe). It that sounds good to you pay $20 a month and another $20 for classes per month. And after your a good standing member and a victim "no fault of your own', expect the employees to do less than the members on the floor around you. So sad and pathetic that they protect these people and then talk about being disrespectful when you talk to them as a parent walking into this incident. You suck VASA, your manager cant manage very well and likes to throw shade at long standing loyal members and their family members. Go get victimized at VASA! They won't do anything about it...well, paperwork. I just wanted to be heard but everytime I opened my mouth two words would come out and she (manger) would interrupt me and cut me off before I could ask questions or enquire on anything. Then would talk about being disrespectful....after I asked her to repeat back to me what I had just said, literally what just came out of my mouth she couldn't cause she wasn't listening. Then turned around and said I was being disrespectful... Hey Manager lady, when you interrupt people and not listen to what they have to say or answer quesions, THAT is disrespectful.

Negative experience: Vasa is constantly changing their pricing and amenities. I have a guest pass on my account that operates different every time I try to use it. It’s close by so it’s a convenient location. If there was an EOS close by I’d go there instead because it’s a much better value.

Negative experience: I being going to this gym for more than 5 years, but I don't know why quality is going down,they also charged me twice in 4 months when I called to ask why they said I upgrade it ...how? Since I was not using since 4 months ago they didn't have an answer

Fantastic experience: Well ventilated open space never over crowding. Friendly members and the parking lot is not a car meet or drag strip. Make the right choice with VASA opposed to the competitors
Fantastic experience: Been coming to VASA for years and absolutely love it! This is the first time in my life that I’ve been consistent in going to the gym, and it’s because it’s a joy to come here. From the friendly staff and fun classes (Studio Red!!) to the equipment and amenities, it’s a top tier experience for an affordable price. Highly recommend this gym to all considering it. Also shout out to Amy who I did personal training with last year- she is wonderful and gave me so much confidence in my fitness journey.
Negative experience: As much as this is on the gym staff, I can no longer go there because the people that go there camp out and sit on all the machines, saying they’re using them, while having six minutes between each set, while they sit on or hang out around the machines, especially the leg machines, on their phones, and gossiping with each other. I just recently had the two of the cattiest worst personality women tell me they were busy using a machine while they were not using the machine. They literally spoke like they were Karen’s right off the Internet. It’s too bad. But I have to give one star, because this is 100% of my visits and the staff never does anything about people camping out on one machine for 20+ minutes.

Negative experience: This is a warning for the gym cancellation policies VASA has. I only needed this for 2 months during the summer. I've learned that in order to cancel you have to pay a cancellation fee ($25), but you also have to pay any bills you would have paid in the next 30 days. Including a bill to guarantee your rate, even though I'm cancelling ($65). So I'm essentially paying $90 just to cancel. When signing up, I only remember reading about the cancellation fee. I don't remember reading about having pay anything that is scheduled to bill in 30 days. I think it is lame that I have to pay a fee to guarantee my rate even though I've cancelled. I chose VASA because they had a sale at the time that you wouldn't have to pay the guaranteed rate fee for your first two months. In hindsight I should have canceled 30 days before the guaranteed rate was set to bill. Hopefully this helps someone else out that is new to this. As for this location, the gym itself is well maintained and clean. The staff at the front was always friendly as well. I genuinely enjoyed going, but am frustrated by the cancellation process.

She is an amazing instructor keeps you motivated through and through and the music is FIRE!!! Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for about 9 months or so and I enjoy the staff very much. Sakyra (hope that’s correct!) is so kind and funny. I love coming when she’s working because the jokes are top tier. Julie and Connor were extremely helpful when I was having a concern about my personal training sessions and were extremely supportive and guided me through read of the gym I’ve never utilized. It is always clean and I’ve never run into any problems here. I plan for this to be my home gym for a while.

Fantastic experience: First time visit at Vasa and first time ever taking a group fitness class. I signed up for a studio red class led by Christine. Juliana greeted me at the front and walked me over to the studio. From the very beginning Christine was friendly, welcoming, and informative. The variety of workouts and music playlist was great. Can’t emphasize enough how perfect the music selection was! After the class both Juliana and Christine came to check on me to see how my experience was. I was already impressed with the facility in general but my interaction with the staff made a lasting impression. Def will be back

Negative experience: My fiance had a medical leave, Due to medical reasons vasa was not understanding kept charging her for a long period ,then she just reported it to bank..got a new card ...They tarnished her credit and vasa basically robbed her money ..we are now filing with BBB of Arizona..they are horrible ,their worker were ver5rude mean and aggressive verbally..worst experience and most of all they're very difficult..

Negative experience: Uses a shitty app to sign in, is constantly making guest passes more complicated for those of us who have em, but wont give guest passes to new members. Added a 2nd scan in after the lockers to get into the pool, which is highly inconvenient for those of us who dont want to bring anything into the pool and want our stuff in the lockers. The hot tub is never clean anymore. They are doing everything possible to inconvenience their gym members at all times and it only gets worse with each new policy they add. Emailing them accomplishes nothing. They really hate their existing customers.

Fantastic experience: I love the KidCare at VASA! There are so many fun activities & ways to keep my kiddo entertained while I workout. The staff here is phenomenal with the kids & would highly recommend. We have been going for 1.5 years and we have never had a negative experience. The KidCare here is a big reason I chose vasa as my gym.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love VASA! Fantastic amenities for a fair price. I personally enjoy taking the Studio RED classes. The childcare is amazing for my toddler and baby. The staff know each of my kids by name and make them feel comfortable while I workout. As a mom I have great peace of mind knowing my kids are being well taken care of while I take care of myself!

Fantastic experience: Wanted to just leave a quick review about how amazing this gym is. First off, Jess Gonzalez is the best. Initially we just became friendly because I’m there almost every single day and I’m an outgoing and friendly enough fella as she is with the people in the gym. Through our interactions and her walking the gym she’d give me little pointers to try out so my old body wouldn’t hurt so badly. She was letting me know how important form is instead of just being a full on silverback gorilla who was trying to lift everything I could see. As time went on things started to hurt a little less and I actually started to get stronger so I decided to sign up for some personal training with her. The results of that training were nothing short of incredible in my mind. I became stronger, leaner, more mobile and agile; I just felt great and it was all done with a friendly professionalism that is very rare these days. The training I did with her was THE best thing I’ve done in my workout career which has spanned many, many years. Thank you, Jess. The rest of the staff is also pretty fantastic but I’ve never worked with anyone else so I can only comment on their desire to help and the friendly professionalism that you’d hope to encounter in a gym sort of environment. The gym is clean, the gym-goers are (mostly) friendly and I couldn’t ask for a better place to spend so much of my time. Fantastic gym, all around.

Negative experience: We need more smith machines, and better hours. Please consider opening at 4am rather than 5. Most of us have to go to work in the morning, and trying to get a pump in the afternoon is a nightmare; a literal Zoo.

Negative experience: Vasa Fitness Center (Chandler) I could not state strongly enough the disappointment and frustration we have experienced with the team at Vasa Fitness Center. Whether it be a lack of appropriate training or a demand for sign ups at all cost, this team was deplorable to work with. I came in requesting info on a Free Trial period (which the website does advertise) and was told that was not an option. This information was followed by a push for me to sign up with a *promise* of how easy it is to cancel the membership if I did so within a certain amount of time. I was very unsure of if we would use our membership enough to justify the cost but after many follow up questions I was absolutely assured by the woman who assisted me that cancelation was easy and an option. Specifically I was told that if I cancelled before December I would not be charged the annual fee. I cancelled the membership after 33 days and was charged $225. The monthly fee, the cancellation fee, and the annual fee. Not only that, the cancellation apparently only applied to “my” membership, not my family that I signed up, 2 of whom are under 18 and unable to even attend the gym without my supervision. I called the gym and was told to call the corporate office with my issues of being given false information and getting this massive charge. I was hung up on twice by the corporate office and both calls were less than 3 minutes. I followed up with the gym requesting accountability for their employees misinformation and was told there was nothing they could do. Furthermore I would be charged an additional $25 for each of the other 3 family members to cancel their “memberships”. At the end of the day I am out $300 because an employee either didn’t know what she was doing or lied. People need to be held accountable for their actions and this charge should have been at the very least waived of the annual fee. It takes so little to be a decent person and run a business with understanding and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: If you are feeling stressed or rundown, I would 100% recommend taking a yin yoga class at this location. It is a great opportunity to stretch, relax, and reset. You deserve to take some time for yourself!
Fantastic experience: LOVEEE this gym!!! Workout equipment is 10/10 has everything you need for a good workout! Juli and Sakyra up front is very attentive and very helpful if you have any questions!! Has energy drinks, protein, snacks, everything!!
Fantastic experience: Joining Vasa was one of the best decisions I made to start my fitness journey. The place offers variety for every type of workout and multiple classes throughout the day to keep it interesting and challenging. One of my biggest concerns before joining a gym was cleanliness. I can honestly tell you that I haven't seen a cleaner gym. They are constantly cleaning the equipment and keeping the place tidy. Personal Trainer - Nathan Effertz I've had my fair share of personal trainers during my time here and recently started working with Nathan. It was so refreshing to see and learn his approach to fitness compared to the other trainers. He's involved even before our session starts by asking about my day and sincerely caring about how I am doing. This is more important than most people realize, because it helps to connect on a personal level and prevents personal training from feeling merely transactional. He uses his expertise in other areas to enhance our workouts while carefully explaining why we are doing each exercise and properly adjusting every step of the way. For every workout that is hard for me to do, he has a variation that delivers the same results. I've experienced trainers correcting me once or twice, but Nathan makes sure I'm doing the exercise correctly every single time. Thanks to him, I feel more confident in my fitness journey, more knowledgeable about workouts and fitness overall, and excited to show up every day. If you are planning on checking out the place, consider this the sign you've been waiting for. Hopefully, you will get Nathan as your personal trainer and start your fitness journey just like I did.
Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym! They really have the best child care at any gym I’ve ever been to. The girls are so kind, they have great toys/crafts and it feels clean. I take the studio red classes and they are my favorite, ALL of the coaches are awesome!!
Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this location in Chandler Arizona VASA Fitness has helped me achieve my strength training goals in an environment where I feel welcomed today I just met Tiare and she was sweet sincere and knowledgeable about VASA I’ve been a member since May 2024 and Sakyra Keeps me accountable SHE has a positive out look on life health and fitness. If it wasn’t for the two ladies at this location I wouldn’t have a gym membership because of these ladies I feel welcomed and comfortable at this gym Thank you again for being supportive and helpful.
Fantastic experience: My personal trainer is Nathan at VASA chandler. He has helped me get stronger and improve my core. He designed exercises around my weak knee. I feel great.
Fantastic experience: Vasa Fitness Chandler has been my go-to place for stress relief and physical healing. By working through my Trainer, Nate Effertz, I have gained my strength back, lost weight, increased my energy levels, and my family and friends notice the difference in my physique. Plus having a trainer provides the accountability I need to show up and do my best! The facility is clean, it's not noisy (thank goodness), and has many amenities that I can choose from - be it swimming, biking (spin), yoga, and more.
Negative experience: I had THE worst experience. This experience may not be everyone’s. And I didn’t want to write this upset so I wanted to wait and cool off. I got Covid the first week of me joining the gym. I have only been to that gym during that time. Once I got fully recovered from being sick I got back to it. I walked in and got the locker rooms and what a nightmare now I see how and why I got sick. Hair every where, fingernail clippings on the counter, wet clothes that were left in lockers from the day before that were MOLDED. Just NASTY. I took picks and asked to speak with a MGR and the front desk clerks told me that they only have a cleaning crew come at night. My mouth hit the floor why just at night. MGR told me If I wanted to leave it would be 200 bucks all together. I was only in the gym for 1 visit and this is my second. In a 3weeks bc I got sick in this place. She proceeded to tell me to take it up with customer support. And that’s all she had. Blew me off. Ok cool and so I did and back to EOS FITNESS

Negative experience: Doesn't matter what time you go to chandler location it's always packed you can't get a machine. Please build more, membership is useless if you're always waiting for a machine.
Negative experience: Staff is a bit clueless and semi rude, seen on numerous occasions the “trainers” not caring or showing the proper technique. Bathrooms are incredibly small and always require maintenance. Drinking fountains (2) are down often as well. And to get a friend pass is basically paying for your original membership x2. Also the plates/weights are literally never on the proper racks so makes you pull from other machines around the gym.
Negative experience: I haven't had many issues here but recently l've had a horrible problem that I contacted corporate about. I let several people know what was going on. I provided several examples of dates and time this rule was never followed before and hasn't been followed since I was made aware of this "rule". I was stopped in the gym where not only l have a membership but so does one of my children and I also pay for guest passes. Never a problem the whole family comes. Recently one of my sons has been going by himself after school, preparing the sports season ahead, when out of the blue on August 11th 2024 we were stopped and told that children under 16 had to have n adult when they come to the gym. Now back in 2020 when I joined the gym I was told he was too young to get his own membership but he could use my guest pass and when he's 13 he can get his own membership. Now my interaction with the "manager" who I found out later was just a personal trainer left a really bad taste in my mouth. Just the way it was handled. Following me around, asking me questions, hovering over me and continuing to pseudo harass me. As I sat in the gym that day waiting for them for 2 hours. I saw multiple children come in and out without an adult and not being asked to show ID as she told me it was required. Now with this being the rule of having to have an adult I continued to go to the gym everyday and see that there are children with no adults. When I provided dates and times to corporate via phone, I was advised that they can't control what rules the club chooses to follow. They let me know via email that the "personal trainer", by the name Jess Gonzales did allow a fellow employees kid in that day. That was the only fault or wrong doing anybody took responsibility for, even though I provided several times when she was in the club and did not question any other "children". The situation was handled extremely poorly. For a rule I was told was made in July there are still no signs or emails that have gone out. This was more than 20 days ago. Most recently Everyday with everyone there is a different set of rules. Today I was informed that if a minor has a membership then they are "grandfathered" in and can still use the facility without an adult between the ages of 12-15. Then I was told if he had a membership of his own he could come alone. Then a manager who gave me the name of three other managers but not himself informed me that those aren't the rules. Nobody is on one accord and again today I was targeted by Jess Gonzales. I hope they check the cameras and watch how hard Jess Gonzales watched myself and my child while in the front of the establishment. At this point she has a personal problem and the actual managers don't seem to be doing anything about it.
Negative experience: Today, I decided to give this gym a try because of its available amenities. but when i signed up for the new trial, i accidentally signed up for the wrong gym. when i got there i explained to them that i had done that and the "manager" there told me that there was nothing that she could do for me and told me i would have to pay for a day pass to try it out. everything is clean, open and looks great, but just based off the customer service, i will never sign up for this gym.
Fantastic experience: Aqua Zumba trainer - Tambra is awesome !!! 5 stars to Tambra. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ She is an excellent aqua Zumba trainer I have ever seen ..
Negative experience: IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL Many fees involved. Sign up only if you want to sign up for life. Simply cannot connect with billing department customer service. They will not answer. Classes are also pointless to go to. Teachers cannot remember their own routines and you barely break a sweat.
Fantastic experience: This gym is amazing! Rock-bottom pricing with high-end amenities. Friendly and casual Amy is our personal trainer, and we couldn’t be more impressed and enamored with her. She is very caring and thoughtful about what she assigns, always changes things up to keep it interesting and balanced, and pays close attention to form. We’re never worried about hurting ourselves when she’s at the helm! The gym is always very clean and cool, and has a good variety of music playing, to meet everyone’s tastes. Equipment is great, well-maintained and kept clean. The media room is outstanding - it’s very easy to forget you’re on a bike or a treadmill when you get engrossed in a movie. The H2O massage tables are the perfect post-workout treat and winddown. Drinks and snacks (protein bars, etc) are pretty pricey, but it’s easy enough to bring your own, anyway. Gets fairly crowded during peak times, but we’ve always been able to find a vacant piece of equipment to work on, even when it’s packed. We’ve asked them to change the channel on a TV, and they were unable to do so, which was a little weird, but not a dealbreaker. Equal amount of muscleheads and older folks makes for a comfortable balance. Definitely not a meat market - a 20-something with a banging body is likely working out right next to a dumpy old woman like me! Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Great gym, nice equipment, lots of amenities. Customer service isn’t great though, especially if you need to freeze or cancel the account or if you have a family membership. They make it very difficult to manage the family account even when you are the main account owner. They will just continue to charge you and tell you they don’t have the ability to cancel the account.

Fantastic experience: I am two days shy of my 2 month anniversary at VASA (I'm here at least 4 days per week) and I can honestly say that I still love it. The staff, coaches, and instructors have all been amazing. Today specifically, I did the 11:30 Yin Yoga class with Adabelle and when I tell you that she was one of THE BEST yoga instructors that I've ever had, I mean it. The way she connected our minds and bodies (mindfulness and deep stretching) is exactly what you hope for in a yin class. I hope to see her do more of these classes because I will definitely be there. I even stopped by the GM's office to tell her how great she was. Great way to start the weekend!!!
Negative experience: The worst experience ever. I got a day pass trial to test the gym. The lady said to me “The only way to let you use the day pass if you will sign up today” my response was “If I enjoy the gym I might sign up” she didn’t like that. She said then “you need to pay for a day pass, you can’t use the free trial” I obviously have a day pass trial for a reason, I’m thinking of signing up. I told her, I would like to see the gym if I actually like it or not. She then sent another employee so we can “sign waivers” he came to us with the same thing, telling us we can’t use the day pass, we have to pay first. It’s so sad seeing employees to go that far and tell each other how not to let people use the free trial. What a shame for Vasa fitness. They came up with the most crazy excuse of why we can’t use the free trial. Employees not letting the business to grow by pushing people away from the gym, that’s insane.
