Fantastic experience: This gym is McKinney’s best kept secret! I love the peaceful feeling when you enter! It has such a beautiful atmosphere with a lot of quaint amenities. If you’re looking to healthy this year this is definitely your place!

Fantastic experience: Love this gym. It's a hidden gem in the gym world. It's priced reasonable for a gym that's never busy. Cool owner as well.

Negative experience: Change their policy however they please without notice. They forgot to charge me for 5 months and then got mad at me for it. It’s not my responsibility to make sure you keep charging me. And they lock you in to a terrible contract. Make sure you read all of the contract before signing. You have to commit to a year at a time and the cancellation policy is terrible so it makes leaving hard to do

Fantastic experience: Best gym I’ve ever been to by far! The owner, Dan, is professional, so kind, and is a wealth of knowledge! The gym and equipment are pristine. I love that members receive a personal training session each month to re-evaluate goals and tweak workout program if necessary. Top notch owner, top notch location, top notch gym. I love it!

Negative experience: No handicap ramp to their door. Same as all the other dry cleaners. No smile, no thank you for coming here, no come back and see us. Just no customer service skills.

Negative experience: I can't say that I had such a great experience. I went in to see what I could do to get back in shape just 7 months out of my 2nd L4 L5 fusion back surgery in two years. Dan was very aware of my situation and we took things very easy which was great. Sadly I was not able to go back and continue working out because it was just too soon after the 2nd surgery and didn't want to hurt anything. I stopped in a couple of times to meet again with Dan about it and his employees said that they would (and 2nd time said that the did) let him know that I wouldn't be back and that they completely understood. 5 months later I noticed that I was being charged by The Gym. When I called I was told too bad. They said that I didn't sign something to release myself. I went ONE TIME?? and they knew that I was fresh out of back surgery??? They knowing started and then kept charging me and NEVER called to check on why I never came back or if I was ever coming back. They actually accused me trying commit some kind of fraud and threatened to sue me if I said anything like whats in this review about them? They even went as far a praying that GOD SEVERALLY DEAL WITH ME!!! TERRIBLY SHOCKING and sad to say the least all over a couple of hundred bucks. Trust me, I WISH that I could have continued to work out and get back in shape.

Fantastic experience: The Gym McKinney is the best ever. Dan Judge, is a body builder and care about his patrons. When you start with Dan, he gives personal training for six visits, and sets up a program, if you decide to join the gym. There is no contract and he is there to help in any way you need. Dan works with MS, RA, brain injuries and many disabilities. I have seen what he has done for brain injuries and he is now working with a brain injury. If you know any one that needs to improve their heath or, some disability, Dan is the man to help. Dan is a Christan and his gym is closed on Sunday. What a blessing he is. I give him 10 stars!
