Fantastic experience: I've been training with CJ for over 18 years. And look at me - I'm carved of wood. I ski with guys half my age and the have the same waistline from my 20s. The bottom line: if you want results more than a raqetball court and swimming pool, this is your place. It's not about an open gym where you aimlessly walk around and waste time on machines. This is about private and small classes with a tribe of people that want to keep their weight under control, have functionality of a much younger person - and for the A-types out there, manage stress. CJ trains movie stars when they shoot films out here - meaning, he knows how to make the magic. All of the personal trainers at Evolve are top notch, as I've trained with them over the years as well. Just walk in, call, and check it out. It's not for everyone - it's for people who want to make positive changes in their lives.

Fantastic experience: Before joining evolve I was hesitant to go into crowded workout environments. I was in bad shape and needed help. eVOLV has been one of my best decisions of my life. Fantastic experience: During my recent visit to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the holidays, I made it a priority to join Evolve Strong for the 20 days I was in town. I had previously enrolled in 2018 before moving to Florida, and returning to Evolve Strong was the best decision I could have made. I experienced significant progress, including a reduction in my waist measurement and a noticeable improvement in my strength and overall health. Every morning at 7 am, I dedicated myself to rigorous workout sessions alongside a supportive group of individuals who encouraged each other to push beyond our limits. The sense of accomplishment I felt after each session was immensely rewarding, thanks in no small part to our exceptional coach, CJ "Curt" Chavez. His professionalism and engaging personality truly inspired me. CJ's ability to explain the benefits of each exercise for specific body parts, combined with his humor and impressive physique, motivated me to believe in my own potential. At 65 years old, I have observed remarkable changes in my physical appearance and mental clarity, and I am pleased with how my clothes fit. I wholeheartedly recommend Evolve Strong to anyone seeking to enhance their health and appearance. As I return to Cape Coral, Florida, I plan to continue participating in virtual sessions with CJ. Fantastic experience: Over the last two years, as a 58 year old male, I have lost over 30 lbs. while improving flexibility, balance, and core strength. The trainers and staff are truly there to help you succeed. The community that supports the healthy living active lifestyle is always welcoming and amazing to each other. There are many in amazing physical abilities but no knuckleheads to ruin the experience.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to shred classes with CJ for almost 3 months now and I can’t say enough about CJ our trainer. Every day he is ready to go with an upbeat attitude. He watches all of us and makes sure our form is correct for effective results and to prevent injury. He changes the workout constantly so we workout all of our muscles. eVOLV Strong is more than just a gym. It is a community of committed people of all ages, that are dedicated to meet their goals. I have been to every gym in Albuquerque and I have to say this is the first one that I really enjoy my workout and actually go. As a result, I have gained lean muscle and fit better in my clothes. eVOLV Strong also offers an app that helps you log food and has other homework to help reach your goals.

Positive experience: Had an issue and initial interaction was not with a person in charge. It appears that the issue is being addressed and the person was a lot more reasonable. I will be more careful to not assume things off of one interaction and take more time in trying to speak to people in charge to try and resolve issues regardless if it's with this or any other business or person. Fantastic experience: Awesome instructors, all of the staff is very friendly, the facility is clean and there are lots of class times to choose from. The mobile app makes it super easy to reserve (or cancel) your spot in class. Monthly membership rate is very reasonable for unlimited classes. I was able to try a couple of classes for free and have been hooked on hot yoga ever since!

Educated me nutrition including meal planning. I now attend the gym 4-5 days a week and if I cannot get to the gym they offer online live zoom classes or pre recorded classes as well. Fantastic experience: Usually gym membership consists of you paying for a monthly fee whether you attend the gym or not. C.J. is so committed to his client's success he will not allow that to happen. eVOLVSTRONG has maximized my investment. The flexibility of virtual training has helped me stop making excuses and start seeing real results. C.J. keeps the atmosphere lighthearted but he is serious about health and fitness.

Fantastic experience: I love this place. Their hot yoga is the bomb! I'm almost 60 and the heat feels so good on sore muscles, allowing more flexibility. My daughter got me going with her and I'm really grateful. Considering their Rise of the Phoenix program for some serious body reshaping!

Fantastic experience: Whether in a class of 5 or 10, you get individual attention. Instructors are amazing. If you need to lose weight, gain weight or heal from an injury, they get it done! There are dats I feel like hot yoga, other days I want to do weights or kickboxing or trampoline. You can pick any class, as much as you want. They treat you like family. Give it a try ( ask for a free class or 2!)

Fantastic experience: Estaban is a really great trainer. I take his free weights and core sculpt class. They are an amazing workout and a lot of fun. Great music and so much fun.

Negative experience: The owner of this gym owned the eVOLV on Paseo and San Pedro that was closed with no notice to the members. I had recently purchased a year long membership (around $800) too and was never given a refund for the months (about 7 months) that I never used even though the owner CJ said he would. This guy is a fraud. Bad business. Will never step foot in this gym or any gym operated by this owner.

Negative experience: Very clickish and I was not terminated I quit so lets discuss your make believe termination of me. If this is the fake and insulting way you do business then that is very unprofessional. I quit do to non payment. As i was told by CJ that the first payment by the gladiators was to go to rent and not employees. That is what i was told by the owner CJ. And also how you do not pay employees and have had fake apprenticeships programs and had employees covering clients and not paying them. I would love to discuss my termination cause that never happened. And termination of other employees the lies are overwhelming. It will all catch up like the last gym God bless wish you better business practices. Please stay far away unless you want to lose your money. as every review on here are part of this gyms click.

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym I have ever been to. This is the first time in my life I subscribe to a gym and actually commit to working out. I don't understand how people who do not come to the gym would even consider giving it one star.

Fantastic experience: I discovered eVOLV via Groupon promotion. Upon first sight the gym itself is not too impressive, that being said as you explore the whole facility you really appreciate how they've mindfully taken advantage of the space. Their yoga practices are hot & humid, this adds intensity to their *fairly* easy going practices. Their instructors range from mid-high level instructors, all of them are friendly, kind, and connected to the practice. Their yoga facility is humble, not the most beautiful I've ever seen, but they really make use of the space they have, which is very much appreciated (I think the Himalayan sea-salt lamps are a wonderful and healing addition to the space). All of that being said, I've really enjoyed all of the practices I've been to and definitely do not regret investing my money and time here. If you're a beginner, or even a more practiced Yogi I'd recommend giving eVOLV a try.

Negative experience: The music is way too loud and it's pissing off the neighborhood maybe some of you people that go to this gym can ask the a****** that runs this place to turn the music down please

Fantastic experience: Best workout ever! Tough but amazing results so totally worth it. It is also a fantastic, supportive community that keeps me coming back for more.

Fantastic experience: ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT RESULTS. If you are the type of person that needs a class to be able to work out or motivation in general, this is YOUR type of place. I had tried Defined, Sport & Wellness, other smaller gyms (with groupons) and eVOLVstrong is definitely the perfect blend of the best professionals with the locally owned flavor of a small business. They MAKE you succeed. The guided me for 2 month to lower fat % from 27.7 to 19 (and counting) in only 2 month. Barre classes are great for low impact work out and Erick (national recognized dancer) is the best in town! Sparkling Clean facilities. Easy access from I-25 (since it is kind on an industrial area) and parking is always available.

Fantastic experience: This is the only gym where you get all the disciples you could imagine, dance based workouts, boxing, hot yoga, barre, rings, step, kettle bells... among many more! No matter your physical condition, you will always get an intense workout at your level. The first day you step in their doors you will feel like you are part of our evolv family.

Fantastic experience: I have been looking for a gym that I like here in Albuquerque for the past 5 years. My search is over! From the moment I walked in the door I felt welcome. As a middle aged overweight woman (that exercised regularly)- that is not the normal response I got when I went to gyms. Since joining, I now feel as if I am part of their family. I go to classes every chance I get. I have lost over 40 pounds, feel better than ever and am challenged to do my best in EVERY class I take.
