Fantastic experience: I took my residents from serenity mesa here for a private session with Tori. She was so knowledgeable, informative, encouraging and energetic. Was very impressed with her as a trainer and with the gym overall. Very clean, organized, nice equipment and a friendly workout environment. Will definitely be coming back to this gym.

Top level skills at the technical movements and teaching all variations as well as being available to all participants and helping them maximize the workout for their fitness level. Coach Eric on Friday mornings doesn’t let you coast into the weekend. He’s a funny dude and makes you earn those rest days! Appreciate the motivation! Really appreciate Andrew’s training. This morning and on previous occasions he has given me challenging alternative movements when nursing an injury. This keeps me involved and motivated to keep showing up knowing I’ll get excellent guidance from Gainz.

Fantastic experience: Today Natalie was an excellent top notch coach, as are many of the coaches at Gainz. She always puts evenly distributed supreme focus on the warmups, technique and keeps the pressure on during the WOD. In happily finding after 3 months that I should scale back moves, worry less about the being competitive and more on the scalable execution of the movement while sustaining great form, long stretch, optimal oxygen utilization. I would like to practice more technique at home and I have my bar with light weight at home to practice hard moves like squat snatch and thrusters. All around Natalie brings it every class and everyone around is motivated to perform the best for themselves. Great Class Today!

Class times are punctual and laid back. I have been to dozens of CrossFit gyms over the past decade, but Gainz has made me feel the most cared about. Fantastic experience: I had an incredible time dropping in to Gainz for a few weeks while traveling for work. It is a one of a kind gym and I honestly wish this was my gym back home! The gym itself is massive with all the equipment you would need and more. The community is welcoming, friendly and very supportive. The programming was challenging, but fun and the coaches did an excellent job of warming you up and walking you through each of the programmed movements. The coaching at Gainz is some of the best I’ve ever experienced. They are knowledgeable and take the time to fully explain movements, work on drills and offer constructive feedback to help you improve your technique. The owner Tori is an incredible person with a big heart and passion for people and the community. She was responsive right away when I inquired about dropping in, offered my first class free and competitive pricing for the days I was there. She went out of her way to make me feel welcome and a part of the community. She also helped me level up my rowing technique! If you are looking for a CrossFit gym in the Albuquerque area, this is the place to go!

Fantastic experience: Gainz is without a doubt the best gym I have ever been a part of. Tori has done an incredible job building a safe that is simultaneously fun, challenging, and welcoming. We have loved becoming a part of the Gainz community, and have learned so much/improved enormously. If you are considering trying Crossfit out but are intimidated, you could find no better entry point than Gainz. All of the teachers are fantastic and there is not pressure to do things outside your comfort zone.

Fantastic experience: I cannot believe how incredible this gym is. I started working out here a little over a year ago, and coming from powerlifting, I was worried about the reputation of crossfit and the difficulty of the workouts. I could not have been more wrong. This gym is full of the kindest people I have ever met. Tori, the owner, is one of the most knowledgable trainers I have ever met, but more than that, she has created a community of athletes that are genuinely encouraging and kind to each other. Shanna is an excellent olympic coach and the coaches Marci and Andrew and Nat and Garrett and Wes and Trese make going into the classes each day worth it. Each coach is incredible and brings with them their own expertise. I also thought my major lifts would go down while focusing on so many other athletic elements, but every single one of my lifts has improved. This is a crossfit gym that cares about you and your form and your athletic training. I cannot recommend it enough.

Fantastic experience: Was in Albuquerque last week and searched the CrossFit company site for a nearby box. Got connected to Gainz fitness CrossFit 469. Tori responded to my request almost immediately and I was able to drop in at 4pm. Great set up, clean and well organized. I was treated like family and felt very comfortable during the WOD. Tori was especially kind to make sure I could handle the altitude during the running phase of the warm up cuz I’m an old guy. Equipment was top notch and Tori’s instruction was spot on and beneficial. Had a great time and was rewarded with a very cool T Shirt that I wear proudly! I will be back and would highly recommend Gainz Fitness CrossFit 469 to anyone in Albuquerque or just for a drop in. And they have a killer mascot!!!!!

Fantastic experience: We were in town for the week over the holidays to visit family and looking for a gym to get some work in. Tori and her crew were so welcoming and helpful! They figured out a pass for us, alerted other coaches we were in town, suggested some good classes to come to based on what we were working on, and were soooo welcoming to these transient outsiders! Every coach came up and introduced themselves and learned a bit about us. Absolutely love this place and wish there was a similar vibe in our home town!

Fantastic experience: What an incredible place! Visited Abq for work and hate sitting in a hotel and missing workouts. Found Gainz, showed up for a WOD and was welcomed from the first moment I walked in. Like all CrossFitters, they “never met a stranger” everyone was friendly and inclusive at every session I attended (and even got dining recommendations!) Facility is TOP NOTCH and spotless and the instructors are all very good. I really can’t say enough about this gym. Whether you’re a local or visiting, this is the place for fitness and family in Abq! Thanks Tori and gang!!!

Fantastic experience: Pehonenonial gym/box/facility with an excellent fitness environment. Great classes, open schedules and a welcoming culture. The best Crossfit location in New Mexico. The staff and the owners are professional and wonderful. They will help all individuals of different fitness levels achieve the goals they desire.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for an inclusive CrossFit gym that would challenge any fitness level, and found that here! Community and professionalism are super important to me, so I was happy to find that in a gym with so many resources! Great class availability, super clean (and properly distanced in COVID times,) extra space, lots of open gym, a fabulous chiropractor in house, drama-free, and coaches that cater to all levels. I have appreciated all of the support I've gotten here. If you're not sure if you should try CrossFit, come here and learn from a great group that cares!

Fantastic experience: Gainz is FANTASTIC! The gym is huge, has everything you could possibly need or want to work out, and is always so clean and welcoming. The members are really helpful and kind when you’re new and need help learning movements. The coaches and owners make every WOD fun and doable for every fitness level.

Fantastic experience: I'm not sure if I'm talking about the correct location but I drive by this place every day when I take my dog to socialize and work and have always been curious so finally I stopped by to see what was going on and when I did I never felt more welcome in my life a gentleman by the name of Jesse Davis welcomed me right in accompanied by another gentleman who shook my hand and brought me in for a hug I will be definitely joining these guys once I come back from austin or even become a member at there new location coming soon thank you guys that ment the world to me complete strangers making me feel more welcome then family or friends

Negative experience: Not impressed with new ownership. So obviously the new ownership is demonstrating their illiteracy. I came here when the gym actually cared about the customers, including the Olympic lifters, but the fk all attitudes of new ownership ruin this gym.
