Fantastic experience: . The hotel has two beautiful swimming pools. One is a four-foot pool and the other is a four-foot-twelve-foot pool. I love how they decorated the inside of the pools with the names of every school in the Ivy League.

Positive experience: The equipment is in good condition and there is a lot of variety, but there is generally not enough space.

Positive experience: Has all the equipment needed but gets too crowded easily.

Positive experience: Smells like a gym, gets busy fro. 4-7pm

Positive experience: Well....one thing you can say is that it's pretty old school.....they have updated the equipment and facilities but it's pretty small considering the size of the population and the lap swim times are limited and crowded

Positive experience: Teagle Hall has a gym and swimming pool that are open for students to use (and I believe the public as well). It is also used for a lot of the Cornell sports like swimming, gymnastics, and rowing. That can be a bit intimidating but the staff are really nice so I’d definitely recommend going to workout or swim. One thing that is annoying is that there is usually only one (sometimes 2) entrances open which is the one closest to the football field so if you’re walking from central campus you have to go all the way around the building.

Positive experience: The gym is always crowded and it's hard to find a machine to use. The selection of machines and free weights is decent, but everything is always in use.

Positive experience: Great place to work out on campus. Can use pool, free weights (including Olympic weights), machines for cardio or resistance training. Staff friendly, helpful, even provide clothes and towels to wellness members. Only downer is poor circulation and no a/c, so some rooms get pretty humid and gamey smelling, but you get used to it.

Positive experience: I prefer this gym to Helen Newman. The upstairs has treadmills and ellipticals, as well as free weights, cable machines, and various other machines. Downstairs has olympic-style lifting platforms. With that said, the summer hours of this gym are terrible: 7 am to 3 pm weekdays, closed on weekends. Who is the target demographic for a gym with hours like this? Retired people and unemployed folks I guess. It's a mystery to me why Helen Newman has better summer hours (6 am to 8:30 pm) given it's inconvenient location, tiny parking lot size, and lack of lifting platforms (and even the "no deadlifting allowed" rule).
