Negative experience: Yall took $244.99 out of my bank this morning… why… also on my recent payment history it says declined for a reason. Because I blocked yall from taking any more money out cause I don’t remember signing up for auto payments. I stay away from auto payments and y’all won’t allow us to cancel our memberships over the phone. And other thing. On my recent payment history it shows $169.95 which is still weird. I have pictures that I will post. I want my money back in my bank account and I want y’all to cancel my membership.

Fantastic experience: Extremely clean facility. Love how welcoming and hard working the staff is. They always try their hardest to keep all machines up and running or fix them if there’s anything wrong.

Negative experience: Very unclean facility, bathrooms and locker room are always disgusting. Most things end up broken and stay that way for months. Dont even have toilet paper in bathrooms most of time or toilets are out of order. You get what you pay for which is why membership is so cheap. Staff is nice, but they use the facility pretending they should have priority to machines even though its a public gym.

Seth was a delight in getting me set up with my membership and understanding the benefits of my membership! I was so shock by the affordability of the membership and everything it included. Also their staff has been super helpful, especially CJ in navigating what membership would be best suited for me as a new gym girl. Can't wait to see the gains!

Fantastic experience: Yesterday was my first time at the Crunch Fitness in Alabaster and I definitely will be returning. The man at the front desk, CJ, was very welcoming and acted like he actually cared. I was very amused when he called me ma'am and his smile truly just brightened my whole day as I went up to the desk after my workout and tanned in their very clean beds. The gym itself was very clean compared the Crunch Fitness in Tuscaloosa. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Positive experience: Staff is friendly and helpful, decent variety of equipment, and atmosphere is generally welcoming. However, much of the equipment appears to be old, with tears in padding on benches and much of the equipment severely needing to be lubricated. Very creaky. There are also very few paper towel and spray stations, and those that they do have are located very far apart, so it is not really set up to encourage people to wipe down equipment after use. As a result, most people don’t. Hand soap in ladies bathroom has been out the past two weeks, since I started attending this gym. Overall, decent gym but definitely could stand some TLC.

Positive experience: The gym is nice, but the "music" is pure crap in the evenings and on weekends. Might be time to lock the audio down to a more customer friendly environment instead of what the employees at the front desk want to hear. Mumble rap and whatever else that is might be fine for the club, but not a diverse gym environment.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member since October 2024 and can honestly say this is the best gym around. The facility is clean, and the employees are nice. If you need a personal trainer, I highly recommend Jared. He's exceptional at what he does and will help you reach your fitness goals.

The atmosphere is wonderful and I’ve always felt comfortable every time I walk in. The tanning beds are also a nice plus to relax after your workout. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: I am a woman in my mid-70s. I joined Crunch in Alabaster, AL in March, 2025. From the very beginning, I have loved being a member. I also love the Staff! They treat me with respect and a genuine care about my needs every time I go in. I especially like the Hydro Massage Chairs and the Red Light therapy because I was in a very serious car accident that broke my back in two places, and these therapy machines help me tremendously. I'm limited in the exercise equipment I can use, but there is equipment designed for those of us who need to ease into getting fit, and for those who are already fit. Tony, the General Manager, is proactive in making sure everything runs smoothly. If a situation arises, he is quick to fix it, understanding in helping the member, and appreciative of our business. I feel Blessed that someone referred me to this Crunch Fitness gym, and I gladly highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Walked in for the first time Sunday to inquire about the gym. Cisco greeted me with a smile and was so welcoming and answered many of my questions and encouraged me to try a 3-day pass. Went home and joined online. Came back the next day, brought a friend, and she joined! Was greeted by the friendly staff at check in; Blayden went above and beyond to answer questions and even spoke to us to follow up in the parking lot when he was on break. This staff has demonstrated a great culture where the customer comes first. They aren’t on their phones, they aren’t inconvenienced when you ask questions, they invite you to join them at your comfort level, and genuinely care about you and your fitness journey, no matter where that is. Tony, the GM, has established a great team and is the real deal. Great customer service is hard to find these days, yet this team truly excels! What a breath of fresh air! Thankful you all are in Alabaster and I will be working on more referrals! If you’re looking for a great gym that offers diverse classes, variety of intensities, reasonable prices, and to top it all off, superb customer service, go join Crunch in Alabaster. You won’t be disappointed! Thank you Tony and team! You’re a blessing!

Negative experience: Their spray tan machine has been broken over a month now. My wife pays a membership just for that , & everytime she calls the kids running the desk are RUDE AF & says it'll be fixed next week. It's nice to see they take pride in their jobs & work hard NOT to get things repaired. CANCELED MEMBERSHIP

Fantastic experience: Tony and Crunch Alabaster team are great. I’ve been working out there for a while but I finally did my sign-up consultation with Tony a few weeks ago. We did the InBody scan and then spent a little talking goals and then did a work out together. Getting the InBody scan and some tips from a trainer was VERY MOTIVATING. I tweaked some workouts and made a few diet adjustments. When we did our follow-up 3 weeks later I am proud to say I had added muscle, lost 1.5lbs and dropped 3% body fat. Im looking forward to continuing working with the Crunch Alabaster team and pursuing my best health.

Fantastic experience: I wrote a review about how three out of four showers in the men’s locker room were broken. Not only did they respond admitting that it was indeed an overdue problem, they personally called me to say they had fixed the showers and apologized. That kind of response shows they truly care about their members. Kudos to Crunch Alabaster.

Fantastic experience: I've had an up and down relationship with Crunch, but under new management with Tony, I'm finally pleased to say that I am happy with the place. I had cancelled my membership due to employees who were there in the past, but rejoined about a week ago after talking to Tony a couple of months back about the changes that have been made. Crunch has a very wide variety of equipment, training and class offerings, childcare, supplements and additional services like red light therapy, massage, and sauna that give high value to your monthly membership. I'm looking forward to continuing my wellness journey with them now.

Fantastic experience: Tony was so welcoming and thorough to all us trying to sign up for Silver fitness. The sign up was easy, and afterwards I received a tour and details of all the programs that crunch offers. I am so excited to start my new Fitnesd plan.

Negative experience: Two stars rounded up, because the facility was exactly what I needed, so I can't ding them on that. The business/data security practices however are horrible. When I wanted to end my membership, they continued to charge card even after I contacted them through the app, email and in person. The only resolution was through my credit card in which I had to file a dispute, twice. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be the end, as it seems my credit card information is being used at a dental clinic, that I've never heard of nor visited, but under the charge of Crunch Fitness, so the headache is ongoing. Seems the only way will be to cancel my current card and request a new one, as it seems my card I provided has been shared.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to crunch for about a year now and have LOVED all of the fitness classes they offer! My favorite has been the HIIT classes! The instructors are amazing! Some of my favorites are Courtney and Tresa! They are always so sweet and helpful! I have grown so much in my fitness journey from coming to this gym! Definitely worth checking out! My two littles go to KidsCrunch and we have had no issues! Definitely makes going to the gym easier having a good childcare option!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been using crunch fitness in Alabaster for several years now. All staff are friendly. It’s always clean. Most of all I love the classes! My favorites based on the times I can participate are the HIIT classes with Kate and Jeanine plus the Wednesday and Friday classes with Courtney!

Positive experience: When I first joined Crunch, I was very interested in taking classes and apart of what made me enjoy the classes I took and encouraged me to continue going to them was and is because of the instructors, mainly Courtney and Tresa. They give clear and insightful instructions, will correct your form, if need be, they never make a person feel judged or ashamed for doing their best and they always make sure to bring fun to each and every class!

Fantastic experience: Love crunch fitness since I joined in 2/2024. The group fitness classes that I take are fantastic to get motivated to workout. The instructors are friendly and great to interact with, to name a few that I specifically enjoy are Courtney, Brannon, Kate, Jeaneen, and Tresa. I attend a number of different classes these instructors teach. I will also point out the personal training that crunch offers is great if you need that extra accountability put on some one else to create a workout routine for you to go through 1-3 times a week. Sheila is a great PT and I will be working with her again at the beginning on 2025. This locations Kidscrunch is great at communicating when your children need something or if there is an issue. My children love coming to play with the other kids.

Fantastic experience: I come to this gym to workout and tan multiple times s. There are plenty of machines and weights to choose from so I never have to worry about waiting a long time to use the equipment. The tanning rooms are always clean, and I love that they offer red light therapy and hydro massages as well! Overall, this gym offers the perfect blend of fitness and self-care. The women’s locker room has always been very clean when I’ve come to lock up my bag, use the restroom, take a quick shower, etc. My four kids attend Kid’s Crunch and always look forward to going! I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone!

Fantastic experience: THE BEST GYM WITH THE BEST PRICED MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS HANDS DOWN! Let me just brag on MY gym real quick. First off, my husband and I joined Crunch-Alabaster in the end of December. I had just had our 4th child in October and both of us had a goal to lose a ton of weight. We have BOTH since lost 50lbs each ALL thanks to Crunch (and of course a little bit was our own hard work and discipline to get in regularly ). We started doing the HIIT classes for our cardio during the week and we LOVE all the instructors. Thank you Tresa, Courtney, Brandi, Jeaneen, Susie, Kate, George, & Ashley for being a huge part of our weight loss journey!! They have so many other great classes to fit a variety of interests for all gym goers, we have tried several classes and liked them all. The gym has an amazing child care area for our kids and they LOVE going, which makes it easier on us to get to the gym. All the ladies that work in KidsCrunch have been GREAT, but shout out to our favorite: thank you Cheyenne for being so sweet to our babies and taking good care of them! Every time we walk into the gym we are greeted with big smiles and enthusiasm from Derek, Matthew, Jason, Will and all the other great front desk staff (still learning names )! The managers, Heather and Tony, are THE BEST! They always QUICKLY solve any problems that we bring to there attention (broken equipment, new drink/snack requests, any issues in KidsCrunch). The gym as a whole has a great variety of equipment and anything that gets broken is fixed in a timely manner. Since we have joined, they have added new equipment in the gym and updated several things to make the quality of the gym better. Not to mention, the cleaning staff is always always there keeping the gym looking, smelling and feeling clean! We love that the top membership options comes with tanning too! Seriously can’t get a better membership and god quality/family feel at a gym! We love Crunch-Alabaster !!!

Negative experience: this gym has gone down hill majorly horribly. the facility is never clean and always has broken equipment. the sauna is absolutely disgusting (haven’t seen it be cleaned in over 6 months), and the majority of the staff has no care in the world that their facility is falling apart right in front of them. the gym was not always this bad but in recent months it’s been on a rapid decline. don’t let the reviews fool you. this is the worst option for a gym in alabaster. all the management cares about is getting your money. do not by any means come here.

Negative experience: The place went down hill in various ways. Going from 24h to not so 24h, regular broken equipment, over packing group exercise with buddies even though they themselves said it's unsafe, and also and why I finally left: the cleanliness. The gym just became gross. I finally called it quits when the same trash was in a shower stall two days in a row, I notified them the second day, the third day the same trash was there... I notified them again about this to be told they had a regular cleaning schedule. So with lying to my face, I was done. I expect a health club to have higher standards with cleaning.

Negative experience: Cancelling my membership has been a nightmare. Trying to speak with any manager has been a no go either. Heather the manager is “always in meetings” or not there at the location. Their cancellation policy is very misleading, as they say you’re able to do it online, but you actually have to do it in person. So I thought canceling online would do just that, cancel membership, but it hasn’t. I’ve been getting charged for various months at this point.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for 4 years and I am very pleased with this gym. No complicated policies or sneaky fees. Love the group classes. A variety of equipment to utilize. Staff is friendly and helpful. Most of all, this gym is CLEAN! There is a cleaning crew in there every day now, which wasn’t always a thing from what I remember. I just read some other reviews that complained of uncleanliness in the past so maybe they listened to the concerns and invested in regular cleaning staff. Hats off to the Crunch Alabaster team for listening and implementing!!!

Fantastic experience: By far, this is one of my favorite Crunch gyms! From the moment I walk through the doors, I am greeted with warmth and smiles from the friendly and courteous staff. One of the best features of this gym is the phenomenal group fitness classes available. The instructors are not only knowledgeable but also incredibly motivating, creating an energizing environment that keeps me coming back for more. I particularly love their HIIT & Zumba class; it's a fantastic way to have fun while getting a great workout in. Additionally, my little ones enjoy spending time in their kids room while I focus on my workout. Overall, I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking to enhance their fitness journey in a welcoming and dynamic setting.

Fantastic experience: Kept so clean! Very comprehensive diversity among their machines, I would recommend this gym to everyone. The staff is very nice and there’s a great community to meet. ZERO complaints!
