Negative experience: UNSAFE ENVIRONMENT I’ve been coming here for over 3 years and over time the environment has gotten progressively worse. There isn’t enough staff to monitor the way people abuse the equipment here. I love using the steam room, but people here constantly pour water on the thermostat and make the room temperature insanely hot. Not to mention very unsafe. The typical temp should be between 110 and 120 but I’ve seen people barely able to leave the room from the rising temperature so it has to be 120+. The cage that is supposed to protect the temp sensor is rusted from how often people pour water on it. Today a group of guys (who didn’t seem dedicated to their fitness) poured water on the sensor and didn’t even stay long enough to allow it to get to the temperature they thought that needed. They also tried to give me a tough stare despite not even being able to hang around in the heat they triggered in the room by manipulating the sensor. I don’t come to the gym for CONFRONTATION. I blame the constant bargain sales for memberships that attract uneducated and unmotivated people to the gym. These sales gimmicks draw people who use the gym to socialize and barely use the equipment. I don’t care if I have to pay more - I’m going to a gym that more closely monitors their patrons and tracks and bans repeat offenders. One that cares about the safety of their customers.

Negative experience: I am all ok with LGBTQ people but this is a family gym. Gyms now a days are just getting outta hand

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. It doesn’t smell like sweat like other gyms. It has its moments where it does of course but for the majority of the time it smells clean. It’s well taken cared of, people actually care about the equipment. People wipe the equipment before and after use with the white wipes they have. The staff is genuinely kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. The people are honestly pretty cool too. Oh and the movie theater is pretty nice. The extra amenities are nice and taken cared of as well. It is difficult to find a good gym so this one is a gem.

Negative experience: Spotted roaches in the recovery room. The mass producing ones.. be aware of your belongings on the floor, they might hitch a ride back to your place.

Negative experience: Gym it always overly packed no matter what time it is people just sitting on equipment on their phones it’s really hard to get a good workout in when every machine or bench is full. Dumbbells all over the place. Just a mess to be honest

Fantastic experience: The San Bernardino Chuze gym is one of the best gyms around the area. My favorite thing about the SB gym is that the vast majority of equipment is maintained and not broken. I've been to other gyms and they always have a few machines not available to use, so it's nice to see that this gym is pretty exceptional in the equipment department. Other than that, place is always clean, no crazy smells, air conditioning works, fans work, employees are always available to help (and are very nice), and nothing crazy has happened since I've been coming here for over a year. The only gripe I really have is that some of the detachable handles/bars/carabiners either go missing or are placed somewhere and not returned. I'm sure it's not the fault of the employees.

Negative experience: Just so rude workers...they werent there to help its so annoying...and another thing, its so bad that i take my buddy and they dont get to enjoy some commodities, i just have to rudely leave them hanging, needless to say i shouldve just gotten basic...gym need to have better plans and better structure....overall i think you should just go to a different gym.

Negative experience: Honestly this gym has been going down hill the past year or so half of its equipment is always down and their spa and pool area always also down or being worked on it’s not worth it for the ones paying all those extra accommodations sincerely! Positive experience: Una gran opción para los que gustamos de actividades, que no solo sean pesas, la natación, vapor, jacuzzi, sillas de masaje, baby sitter para que las mamás puedan realizar sus actividades. Lo mejor es el zumba con natalie vera. Además de ejercitarte te consientes, Lo Malo, les falta trabajar en la higiene de baños, jacuzzi y áreas de alberca. El problema es la gente, que no estamos educados a bañarnos antes de entrar al área de piscina y personas que tiene enfermedades de piel que no deberian entrar por consiencia asi como el uso de sandaliaa y chuze no cuida que se respete el codigo de alberca e higiene.

Hi Ruben, Please accept our most sincere apologies for not meeting your expectations with regard to getting our equipment fixed in a timely manner. We can completely empathize with your frustration. In terms of getting equipment fixed, there are many factors at play both in and out of our control. Materials and equipment can have delays and interruptions in arrival causing a shift in timelines. Suppliers can additionally make mistakes and not fulfill the order properly and/or miss certain components. The Construction Teams can get sick or go on vacation during part of the time period. As a result of the aforementioned hiccups, our turnaround times can be negatively impacted. What’s in our control is our onsite team’s ability to submit a work order for down equipment and following up on the work order if something is taking longer than expected, so that we can provide our members with a more accurate ETA. Additionally, our ability to deliver Chuze Kindness to our members will continue and we appreciate your understanding as we navigate this.
Positive experience: Probably the worst Chuze I’ve been to but I’m glad it’s in the area. So auto 3 stars, beware the area is not safe. Smallest locker room I’ve ever seen, sauna doesn’t get very warm and it’s super bright in there for no reason, dumbbell weights are missing and little to no half weights like 27.5lbs, 32.5lbs etc.

Few of us are here for right reason not chasing cloud trying get attention we just wanna be here get in shape and health reasons it’s hard to focus when you have group of people who over talking music being play in my head phone …. The struggle coming here looking for parking space and Machine being used by folks who just gathering and talking not letting anyone used Machine .. I am considerate go to a Private gym at some point. these gym no longer a gym more like high school These 5 harassing gym members I had few encounters with these Clowns I tell them keep moving I mean if you not gonna work out then why are you here ? It’s sad because people like these are reason why people stop coming

Fantastic experience: The staff is well trained. They are always friendly and professional. The cleanliness is always top priority. I never see a broken machine nor missing weights or a sloppy floor. Always plenty of sanitary wipes and stations to retrieve them. Excellent job Chuze!

Fantastic experience: The gym is amazing and there are cleaning stations around the facility that reassure equipment will remain clean. I love the zero gravity and hydro chairs that have saved me money in getting massages. However, the staff is amazingly welcoming and encouraging. They greet the guess and know my name which is comforting. It is truly my safe haven.

Negative experience: I just experienced the most rude person at this gym location his name is Benjamin, he told me I had to sign in my buddy through my app and only gave me a laminated paper and didn’t even offer to help, me keep in mind there was employees just standing around not doing anything what’s so ever I’m about to cancel my membership at this location.

Fantastic experience: This gym is home a Tuff Solid five out of five you want a good gym this is the best one staff is friendly and helpful locker rooms clean wish the showers had stronger water pressure but they are clean and water gets nice and hot the lift lab is amazing hands down with the price of the top membership this is the standard on my book on the top 3 list this is number one and probably gonna stay number one till the other locations get a lift lab Second place Fontana but a very close second if it it was to to have a lift lab it would be a tuff fight for first dead last and will always be last Rialto location gonna try the rest of the ones in my location so i can give a more accurate top 5

Fantastic experience: I go here with my family my two sons really enjoy going to chuze to work out with me. It's awesome and the people who work there are very nice and friendly but mostly very respectful.

Fantastic experience: Clean gym. Great equipment. CLEAN GYM. Friendly staff. Infrared sauna and steam room! Only thing I wish the dumbbells went higher than 100. (Small gripe)

Fantastic experience: The only reason why I love this gym is for the turf camp class. That was my reason for getting the membership. But this gym is more than a gym it’s like family, the staff there are so happy energetic and friendly you will always be greeted by the staff. Second reasons why I joined is that theres a smoothie bar, pool, hot tub, massage chairs, dry and steam sauna, movie theater, classes, showers, day care. I normally spend 3 hours at Chuze. For me this is the world of fitness, and it’s always clean.

Fantastic experience: I love this location! Always clean and friendly staff members. I think the only thing I have to comment is that the lift lab squat racks are missing the landmine attachment to them. It would be awesome if those could be added in there. During peak times the outside squat racks can be taken up and I like using them for sumo squats and RDLs. Of course I substitute when needed but just wanted to leave a suggestion :)

Fantastic experience: I've had nothing but good interactions with the staff. They've all been kind & helpful and if you're a regular they remember your name. The gym itself is very clean and well kept. It does get VERY busy in the evenings after work. I've never felt uncomfortable at Chuze and I'm happy to member of this location.

Fantastic experience: I come to this gym everyday. It’s very clean, spacious and sophisticated. It has a pool, sauna, massage chairs , tanning rooms, a movie theater and plenty of machines for any kind of workouts.

Negative experience: Arrest me I told her the police wont arrest me For no reason I haven't done anything wrong and she told me she was going to have me trespassed. I just want to get to the bottom line of this. I'm being told things by different managers. And I just feel very attacked by her. It was embarrassing her doing that in front of everybody and she said it's because she forgot to revoke my membership. Again? I explained that I spoke to different managers. And then I shouldn't be revoked for an incident that happened outside the property when I wasn't even at the gym. There was no charges pressed against me. And when I spoke to San Bernardino police department, they told me that the guy I had the issue with had multiple offenses And was mentally unstable. I really don't understand why I was treated this way. When defending my family is top priority. I'm a fitness influencer and all I do is create positivity and show people how to work out And so I even posted about this on Instagram and I've had a lot of people tell me that they've experienced similar situations with that assistant manager. Please if I can have somebody out reach out to me I don't think people should experience what I had to experience today.
We are sorry to hear of your frustrations, Jeff. While we can't speak on the exact details of what transpired that led to this, we are sorry that it ultimately caused us to part ways. We entrust our local and district leadership team that feels this course of action would be best for all parties involved. Negative experience: You guys know what happened and what you guys did to the owner of chuze I had two problems that happen in that gym one employee leak my personal information and took pictures of me and I complained to management and nothing happen then the second time is that you can't bring your own gym equipment that but you can bring your own yoga matt elastics band but you can't bring a weight vest that ridiculous but other people can I felt singled out you guys don't care for customer service at all

Fantastic experience: To the owners of Chuze Fitness My name is JoAnn Johnson the reason I gave you a Great review is because my son Brayden Johnson was going there with his cousin Jacob Johnson as his guest and Brayden really loves going to Chuze Fitness in San Bernardino and he was telling his father and I about how he wanted to have his own membership and that we should get one too because he worries about our health so we decided to go and see what your facility had too offer and let me tell you the young lady that took us on a tour of your Chuze Fitness and showed us of all the amenities that your fitness had too offer we where impressed so very clean and warm and inviting she did such wonderful job I wish I would of paid a little more attention of what her name was but I was so excited of everything there and we couldn’t believe the price for the membership it’s very affordable I would like for you guys to know that you need more people like her to represent and work for your company and you know why my son Brayden Johnson is now officially a member of your Chuze Fitness he signed up on Wednesday March 13th 2024 and as for myself and his father Wally Johnson we will be signing up on March 20th 2024 the young lady gave us the tour on Tuesday evening March 12th 2024 if you figure out her name tell her thank you she was awesome sincerely JoAnn Johnson!!!
