Positive experience: Gym is okay, they currently putting in new machines. Staff is friendly. I give it only 3 because place is over crowded hard to find a machine to workout on. Happy ever any free weights available either. Also people bringing in there dogs. Some are puppies running up on you while your lifting. Almost dropped my weights on one of them. Hurt myself avoiding this dog while lifting. And this is almost every day.

Fantastic experience: I just recently signed up for a membership and was having issues setting up my account on the 24hr Go app. Sunny H was awesome and so helpful in assisting me with the technical difficulties I was running into. Positive experience: Excellent strong water pressure in the showers but they need to not work with the same construction company… whoever installed the shower hook in the shower stall put it where the water hits it yet there’s a glass panel where they should have put the hook. The glass panel is there for a reason and now it’s not really serving a purpose other than having a dry place to put your toiletries that will get wet anyway… Also the soap box is right where you elbows go when you’re washing your hair making the large space feel cramped. They should have put it across like most 24hr fitness locations. Whoever installed the stuff in the showers really doesn’t think things through.

Negative experience: It's one of the worst gyms. Sanitation is horrible, always smells, and you can never find any help besides the small chatty group of coworkers at the back that never help anyone besides people they know.

Fantastic experience: I only go for the pickleball although they offer a good selection of classes. We have limited times for pickleball. I really wish someone would build some dedicated courts for all of us.

Negative experience: wild. the sauna and steam rules say don’t pour anything on the equipment some guy pipes a bottle of unknown liquid drinks up the whole room, can’t breathe, could be allergic, walk up to the front desk and the young guy says “what do you want me to do about it” going to the better bossiness burro complaint. management is ok with someone being potentially poisoned in the steam room. wouldn’t even go talk to the guy

Negative experience: Three weeks ago i mentioned to staff on day shift that i noticed that there is a lot of non members coming into the gym without a membership and that Horace is the only staff that i noticed who makes sure that the only members are coming in. They assured me they would take action and prevent this from happening on the late shift. On 11/18/2024 i was a victim along with others who had our locks cut and our belongings stolen. I immediately brought it to the staff members attentioned he told me that the others at the front desk at the time also reported their belongings were taken. I then seen a transient person who wasn't a member come out from the bathroom. I asked the staff why did he let him go in the locker room and use the bathroom without supervision. He replied he is just using the bathroom and that he went in two times to check on him. The following morning i spoke to the manager who didn't seem a bit concerned. I asked him did he look at the cameras. He said he just arrived about 15 minutes prior to me coming in. I was told from another staff member that the manager comes in at 830am and at this time it was about 10:30 am. I asked if he has time to review the cameras. He told me he isn't going to review the cameras until the police arrive. At this time i told him i want to cancel my membership and i feel unsafe knowing that 24 hour fitness manager doesn't seem to even care. I called him later that night around 4 pm and asked if he reviewed it or if the sheriffs had come in yet. He told me no again and that he could check the cameras but he won't until the police arrive. I asked why won't you look at the cameras. He told me I supposed I could look but i am busy. If us member aren't important enough for them to at least write down the members or review the cameras. I am just trying to bring awareness to others. Don't bring your belongings in. BECAUSE ACCORDING TO 24 HOUR FITNESS MANAGER. THEY AREN'T RESPONSIBLE EVEN THOUGH THEY TEND TO LET ANYONE IN DURING THE LATE HOURS.

Fantastic experience: My experience with 24 hour Fitness in Apple Valley was very pleasant. Frankie is the Personal Trainer assigned to me and he was very pleasant and accommodating. He adapted every exercise and reps to match my current abilities. He was very patient and encouraging which I appreciated.

Negative experience: I’ve seen it all here and Eastvale location. From excess dust, mold, non-working sinks, no seat covers for weeks, excess hair on the floors, trash, ect. If I see obvious trash near my working area, I don’t mind, I pick it up but I have to agree with the lack of cleanliness. No matter what time of the day/night it is, I have not seen them vacuum/mop the floor nor in the lockers. The staff is okay, somewhat decent but management sucks. I’ve had odd interactions with the manager there, Cameron. Nothing against him but he seems to play favoritism with guests surrounding rules and principles. One example, I recently asked about children coming to the gym and I was told children under 12 are not allowed at the gym but I see children under 12 frequently, usually at night and I happened to call in the daytime over the phone. It’s great that they recently installed more machines but the cleaning doesn’t take place. Even the ceilings are filthy. The sink in the ladies room doesn’t work and there is the appearance of mold below the sink. There was a time where there were no toilet seat covers for about 2 weeks and when asked they said their order was behind. That’s understandable but this is a commercial gym. I’m debating if I should just cancel and go to a less commercial gym. One good thing I will add is that most of the “regulars” I see are down to earth people and always say hello, so that is a positive aspect from the gym community there

Negative experience: I hate to say this about 24hr fitness, maybe it’s just this location, don’t know what’s going on. They urgently need attention to maintenance and housekeeping. Equipment & other things broken down takes too long to get repaired if they ever do. Cleanliness is the worst! Everything is dirty equipment, floors, walls, locker area, restrooms, pool area, sauna, steam room, etc. Everything is horrible, never ever seen nobody mopping the lockers, restrooms, sauna, steam room or pool area floors or cleaning anything, it’s disgusting, as soon as you walk thru the doors it’s smells like feet!! Disappointing! Time to find a new gym. ‍♂️

Negative experience: I love all the new equipment but have to agree with a previous post about the cleanliness. The gym floor is hit or miss, usually miss. The paper towels are often empty and the spray bottles broken. The mens room is some order of disgusting everytime I go in. And its not normal busy day dirty. It's clearly urine that has been on the floor long enough to dry and build up to a horid smell. I'm seriously considering finding another gym to go to.

Positive experience: Fairly good gym with excellent amenities. Aside from minor things such as having only few cleaning stations for equipment around the gym, I recommend this gym. They have a variety of machines and free weights. Not to mention a lap pool, sauna, steam room, various studios available. For the price ask, it is a worthwhile deal to stay in shape.

Negative experience: No matter the time of the day this place is always dirty. Overpriced membership, yearly maintenance fee and can’t keep the place at least a bit clean. No seat covers bloody floor. They respond but it’s been like this the two years since I moved out here seems like they don’t really care. I’ve been to many facilities Orange, Anaheim, Fullerton, Santa Ana, Buena Park, Ontario, corona San Francisco etc. and this is by far the worst.

Negative experience: I joined 24 due to heath resons. I am trying to keep up the physical therapy I've learned. It is sad the staff and the other guess here don't care or take pride in taking care of this gym. The Sanitation is not there. I see few sraff members cleaning. However, I never see staff cleaning the Workout equipment. You can see other people sweat drops on equipment. Half the Cleaning stations either have empty bottles or broken bottles or no paper towels. I have had to start taking my own spray bottle. I see use dirty paper towels left all over the floor and staff members never come around to pick them up. Also, helf the Weight machines have no weight on them. It's been all rubbed off so you don't know how much weight you're Lifting, so you'll never know how to improve. My dr also told me to swim. The last time I was there a man started blowing in nose. That is so Unhygienic. I was a guess a Planet fitness the last 3 weekends with boyfriend. I see people cleaning wiping down equipment. Also They have multiple cleaning stations. Fully stocked and functioning bottles. I'm contemplating canceling 24 and opening one with Planet fitness. At planet fitness there is also some to welcome you in. There staff at 24 very rarely at the front desk, just anybody can walk in. I will be making a decision here in the next month to Stay or cancel.

Negative experience: I had a 3 day pass to use the gym but when I got there. The guy at the counter turned it down. He said I needed to have an ID with an address from here which I think is bs because I've gone to other gyms and they don't ask for that. They just want to know you're of age and that's it. I do have an account but it's frozen because I was going to the gym in school. I simply wanted to come back for a weekend and have a good workout but your customer service there isn't really that great. Wouldn't even offer me other deals or suggestions. Give me his job I'll gladly help people.

Positive experience: They have a woman working there, whose name is Susie. Other I always know when she’s there cause the bathrooms are clean and stocked. floors are mopped water fountains, clean there’s something on the floor as she bends down and picks it up and nobody else does She’s very friendly very sweet and does a very good job.

Positive experience: Joined Gym, been going daily. . its not bad. ac always blowing cold.. depends what time you go you will get a full house early mornings are full of elders/ super seniors. they tend to take long Rests on every machine. if you go after 230pm you get the school kids showing up. after 4 you get everyone whos getting off work. summer/Holiday is packed gym could but cleaner. alot of dust, hair under machines, racks etc. equipment needs to be oiled , greesed, maintained. some equipment missing bolts, handles etc. the Kids center/daycare is not in use./Available i suggest putting All Cardio Equpiment in the kids center and purchasing more equipment. such as more pec decs. , leg press , hack squat , leg extension, . Hammer strength shrug machine. more Hip abductors,adductors. hip thrust machine.. the ladies loves these and you guys only have one of each . Good job to owner for buying some new equipment . sauna and steam room deep clean, degreese. windows cleaned. biggest thing about this Gym community. alot of the Users do Not Know How To Use the Equipment properly, they do not use proper form. they do not respect or take care of the equipment along with not reracking weights. leaving dumbells everywhere, barbells loaded . angeled legpress with 12 plates on it. ALOT OF EGO LIFTING. alot... along with the some Ladies looking to be validation/Attention distracting a workout to chat. but what do you expect From the HighDesert Happy lifting

Negative experience: The cardio machines are always dusty. If equipment is broken, it takes forever to get repaired. Time to time no toilet paper in the restrooms. There's 4 stations for sanitation and sometimes 2 of the 4 don't have the cleaning solution. They raised the price, 2 dollars. Hopefully, we'll see some improvements

Negative experience: Once the only pool in a gym, it was a wonderful place. Any problems with classes using room was solved. Now some men are & ma ag blowing noses, spitting mucous & washing it in the pool. Infectious waste is dangerous. Upon talking with manager, Sahara Johnson, I waste told it was ok & corporate couldn't do any thing. It is now a health department matter unless Cameras r installed as in other gym pools in this area. Sad to see such low standards

Local watering Hole. if you are trying to Get In And out quick. this is not the Place. you will be waiting .

Negative experience: Been a member for 25 years.They used to be on top of things.Now equipment is down for ever it seems like.I used to work Facilities at a big local gym and it doesnt take this long to get parts and repair.Also the Spin dryer in Men's RR been down forever and now its removed.Why not order parts and fix? I did.No problem when i did Facilities at gym

Fantastic experience: I have a good initial feeling about getting a membership. The staff was very helpful. We are seniors and Susan Hill get us set up quickly on the Android app for everyday usage within the gym. Now you should take a bit of what I say with grain of salt because I haven't had enough experience in using 24-hour fitness but my initial impressions were extremely good. I look forward to using the facilities probably at least four times a week.

Negative experience: 24 hours fitness in apple valley ca This place is very dirty. There is no soap in the shower ròom. They never clean shower and lockers area. Locker area is alway dirty and wet. The maneger never available to talk too and others don't care.

Fantastic experience: To the young man with great energy...who greeted me both days this weekend on the late shift (11pm Feb 2nd and 3rd) thank you for for making me feel welcomed and boosting my energy. The second day he came out of nowhere to greet me and tell me to have an amazing workout... It's been a while since I have gotten this type of good energy at night and I have stayed away because of it..a simple greeting can make a big difference....so I usually find 24hour places that celebrate me, not tolerate me..... However thank you to this man for making me feel welcomed and happy to be in my home gym again. I appreciate your energy and I hope your bosses notice your work ethic and how it makes a difference.

Positive experience: Great gym been here for going on 2 years. The only thing I don't like is that lately when I come in late like I usually do the sauna temp is turned down which sucks for for people who can only come in late at night. Besides that 24hour is a great gym.

Negative experience: Poor costumer service. They try to sell you a membership, then when you buy it ,you're treated like you're not welcomed. Upon checking in, in the morning the girl with the long curly hair will either ignore you or is bothered that you're even coming in. They should have more people in the front desk with good people skills not unhappy and rude individuals who don't belong in what should be a positive experience

Fantastic experience: I love my gym! The Apple Valley Jess Ranch location is well kept, with a friendly and personable staff, as well as plenty of great machines/weights. While traveling I use other 24’s and I must say our Jess Ranch location has a better layout and newer equipment:) My experiences with trainers George and Gretchen were incredible, and my current trainer, Brett is so awesome! Positive experience: I am new to this gym and I love it! Very clean, affordable and really happy with my trainer Danielle. My only con and it’s pretty big to me is that there are no fans! Not on the ceiling or even portable ones and it’s so hot! It becomes uncomfortable and even unbearable. Other than that, I love my experience here so far and looking forward to my fitness journey.

Positive experience: Some machines don't go so heavy, and others are kinda broken and definitely need better sanitation stations and overall cleanliness of the whole gym if you are trying to do abs in the aerobic room better hope there's not a class some cardio machines are acting suspicious but other than that staff is really cool and friendly if you ever needed help they gotchu covered some of the new workers aren't as cool

Fantastic experience: Nice location, staff is friendly, I really enjoy the Jacuzzi, Steam Room, and Sauna; those are great perks that make me prefer 24 hour fitness over other local gyms; location is great and safe, and Apple Valley PD is always around to supervise the parking lots; weights, equipment, and cardio are outstanding; the ambience and music are very enjoyable; the TV channel selections are great; I enjoy watching HGTV while doing my cardio and watching Local and National News channels; I hope they transform the former kids club into a Massage Spa lounge as other gyms, with massage chairs and tanning beds; that would be great and a reason to upgrade your membership; I enjoy this location at any hour; people are nice, welcoming, and friendly; 24 Hour is my favorite hour of the day!

Positive experience: 24-hour fitness is a great place to facilitate both mental and physical health. There are free weight areas and exercise machines that guide you through the process. The staff are more than willing to demonstrate how each of the stations works. There are numerous cardio machines from bikes to steppers, and there are aerobic classes for all age groups. In addition you can play Pickleball early in the morning. 24-hour fitness has a suana, steam room, large pool, and locker rooms. They have multiple plans to suit every budget. Check out COSTCO for membership deals. You can ask your medical insurance provider if they pay for gym membership.

Negative experience: Staff could be more friendly. They get bothered when you use the lockers. Most recently they didn't have bathroom liners for several days in a row. Maybe less obsessing over locks and more stocking the bathrooms would be nice.

Negative experience: Gym is starting to decay, dirty shower//locker room you're lucky if the shower has bodywash shower too, it's been three days that there's no hot water, not the first time this happens, I used to pay more pre pandemic but I was happy about the service, not anymore

Negative experience: I go a couple times a day every and I was told my lock could get cut off and was tagged because I was accused of leaving it. It could be that my lock is in Spanish and thats why its tagged because they said it was the only lock like that. I feel like I cant use the lockers anymore cause it's an issue using them everyday.

Negative experience: Maintance is very bad! Looks like the manager dont care!! Especially, in men lockers, most of showers is broken, and now there is ,one week ,without pool jacuzzi and Hot water, like is not plummers on Apple Valley!! The worst 24 gym around!! Not recommend it at all!!

Positive experience: It's a big little gym gets a little tight when it's busy. Missing some of the cable machine connections, rope, bars, etc if you want some high desert piece of trash hitting on your girlfriend or wife, it's a great place to go.

Negative experience: Ive had to travel due to my Job. I gotta say this is the most disgusting 24 hour fitness I’ve ever visited. Bathrooms seem like they get cleaned every other week. They are worse on the weekends. Out of all your facilities this one is beyond the worst.

Negative experience: I tried to buy 4 personal training sessions as a gift but after a week of waiting for a simple email I’ve decided there is no follow through or follow up so obviously not a good gift idea. Sophia, the employee that said she’d help, didn’t do anything at all but cause problems & puts everything to her manager, who, so far, is never available when needed. Disappointing to say the least.

Negative experience: Walked in and was not greeted. The sales reps had me waiting for about 20 min just to tell me I could not get a pass. Tried to get a pass was told I could not because of previously having one as a minor. Did not even try to earn my business, was extremely rude. I was highly considering switching gyms until they were rude and denied me a service that is free at any other 24 hour fitness by making me pay $25 for one day after signing up for a free 3 day pass online. They immediately sent me a telemarketing text message to see when I would be activating the pass, which I responded for the same day. I received the confirmation email with the code and was still denied. They did not try to run my name in any system to confirm if I ever had a membership nor did they care. They were more concerned about getting a sale. I wanted to switch due to the number of locations 24 hr fitness provides but this location ruined the experience for me .

Fantastic experience: So I live in San Diego so I usually go to the 24 hour fitness there The one in San Diego all the workers are very vague cold and not friendly,not helpful I meant to cancel my pass before Christmas break I went to go visit my boyfriend in Hisperia so this is the closest gym to him so I thought I would give it one more try and see the hesperia one is any better. Let me tell you about your employee SOPHIA. She is the best thing this company has ever had. She is so incredibly nice and so welcoming. The second I walked in the door she greets me with a big smile, I’m always afraid about being judged at the gym but right away she made me feel welcomed and completely comfortable and it immediately changed the atmosphere there. So my luck and of course my first day going to this location my lock broke and would not open and I told her what was going on and right away she had a great attitude about it and helped me on the spot she tried helping me open at the regular way just to make sure it was jammed, the she had to ply it open for me which thank God because that had everything I ever needed in there and the entire time she had a big smile on her and she told me sorry about the lock even though it wasn’t her fault my lock broke, I’m like u kidding thank you! I come in the next day (today) I go to the pool after swimming a few laps I wanted to go Zumba class and I asked someone else at the front desk where the Zumba class was and he pointed in the direction of the room supposedly Zumba class was it, luckily Sophia chased me down with a smile and gave me a heads up that it wasn’t Zumba and it was yoga thank God she told me because I would’ve been so embarrassed to walk in on a yoga class that has already started and ruin everyone’s relaxation when the other worker clearly didn’t care. I thanked Sophia for letting me know and I told her I would be back tomorrow for Zumba class as long as I can figure out the schedule without hesitation she’s like let me help you find what time Zumba will be, and I’m like don’t worry about it it’s OK she came back to me in like two seconds and printed out a list of classes that I would be interested in. I’m not sure if she’s already manager or not but if she isn’t shame on the entire company that needs to change and if you were smart she needs to own this franchise because everyone else that worked there we’re not rude but could care less about helping people, helping your business, or making them feel welcome. Sophia needs to be a regional manager or something because she is amazing. I had to ask her for her name because I’m like I’m gonna write a great review because I honestly was thinking about canceling my 24 hour fitness just because how cold the workers are, luckily I visited the one by my bfs house and one just so happen to be in the area. It’s so refreshing to see people that actually wanna help you and go out of their way to do so because all I see is a bunch of people standing around and doing the minimum. I’ve never written a review before until today. It’s something that needed to be said and I hope management sees it. Sophia keep doing you girl if they don’t give you a promotion asap get out of there. Any company would be lucky to have you.

Negative experience: Incompetent, rude staff. I wasn’t allowed to use the facility today because according to them, I had not paid my annual fee. It indeed was already paid for and had my invoice/receipt for it. I also showed a bank statement. They told me it wasn’t showing on their end that it wasn’t paid, but I could make a payment in cash to use the facilities. Not sketch at all. At the end I was basically turned away since I refused to pay for what was paid for. This is the first time I encountered a problem with a 24hr fitness regarding something like that. I will not be returning to this location.

Negative experience: Along with their low prices comes low service. This place is a joke, no hot water for a while now. Front desk staff plays around like middle school kids. They purposely ignore you. The girl in the morning doesn't greet you or acknowledge you're there, just rude. She once was literally just staring at a wall as I passed and ignored me.

Positive experience: When it was New it was the best gym up in the high desert. After being a member since 2003 ish and the way they handled gym access for the Active location I was left without a gym in my home area. Gym itself is the same with little improvement since but having to pay more for access when I had a standing membership since 2004 I was disappointed at the Corporate decisions to pull the only Active gym in the area. Time will tell I guess. It's very crowded up until and after 9pm many nights I have been there recently so it's not that easy to walk in and get on the machines you want. I'm not a free weight guy so I'm not concerned about the benches etc.

Negative experience: This used to be the best gym up here! I changed my life here! Now there's barely any classes there's subs but no one covers. Pickle ball but no evening or weekends! The bathrooms are filthy and unstocked! Broken sinks! It's completely crowded so I know it's not a $ issue!!!! Considering going elseware!!!! Bummed! Discouraged!

Negative experience: Honestly I don't even like this gym for many reasons, it's always dirty, EVERYTHING IS BROKEN, takes forever to get repaired or doesn't, Outdated equipment, small, considering it has the potential and space to expand. I only go to this one cause it's the closest 24 to me and it's at least 24hr unlike other gyms. They need better machines. A whole overall upgrade.
