Fantastic experience: I’ve been working out here over a year. It’s 10 minutes from my house on English Creek Avenue in EHT. It is a wonderful health club and gym. The men’s and ladies locker rooms are fast and clean. You can shower and there’s a place you can blow dry your hair and do make up. There is also a changing room in the ladies room and a scale. The weights and the machines are on the second floor overlooking Delilah and English Creek Avenue. Lots of treadmills, elliptical bra. Peloton’s.. They have all sorts of fitness classes. There was an Olympic size pool and whirlpools off each of the men’s and women’s locker rooms. I enjoy working out here. I would highly recommend it.

Negative experience: Terrible place to cancel. I sent 6 emails to Alex. They never responded and still debited my account and took the money. I want my money back since I had left the state but they keep taking it and fighting me. Obviously most people enrolled at the gym is on a fixed income or disabled and to just take the money is just horrible. No one explained the termination process to me when I signed up and I want the last debit refunded to me. These huge facilities have millions of dollars and they get away with this invisible termination policy and can keep money that’s not theirs. Refund my money !

Fantastic experience: Great gym, the male custodian I think his name is Kevin and I’m not sure what he gets paid but double It. That is one of the main reason I continue to use this gym because of the cleanliness he provides, when I am there and he is working non stop. Also weekend hours aren’t great.

Negative experience: This past Saturday, I made the effort to attend the 7 AM Spin class. I cleared my schedule to prioritize this session. I arrived at 7:02 AM, only to be informed by another member that the instructor had shown up, noticed there was only one participant (an African American male), and decided to leave. I found this extremely disappointing. I raised this concern with the staff at the front desk. While the young woman mentioned she would try to call the instructor, unfortunately, no follow-up action was taken. I emailed Jason Ruggerio 2 times to address my concerns, I’m still awaiting a response.

Positive experience: I love this gym but I have a few issues. First the time. They used to be open on the weekends till 8. I thought it should be open longer on weekends since people are busy on weekdays. The jacuzzi should be hotter to kill germs this way it's not overloaded with chemicals that burn the eyes people should be able to get a good soak and not have to stay longer because it's not hot. The steam room is meant to be hot not warm. The showers are effected by flushing of the toilets, the water goes cold. The remote for the TV is nowhere to be found. Also they open the lockers before 10. If I am grabbing my car keys and find the locker has been left open with all my things, purse left unlocked!!! I don't want to complain but I don't want a first rate gym to be second rate. Oh and please put the door between the lockers and the showers back I hate cold drafts. put the lotions back too please.

Positive experience: I wish I could give 5 stars but unable as they do not keep up with basic maintenance in the ladies shower room. Despite several complaints from members, still nothing is done. Only 3 showers have hot water. Shower stall #3 & #4 no hot water & feels ice cold. Basic maintenance goes along way for member satisfaction, being ignored does not. The trainers & instructors are excellent & only reason I am a member.

Positive experience: Quality instructors...I took a couple of aqua classes the one day i had off from work and the aqua instructor was top notch. But there are only aqua classes available during the weekday. As a teacher, it isn't something i can regularly do. As a single mom, i also need child care. I picked this gym, even though it is more costly, bc there is childcare. Today, I came in, was told by the front desk, "oh I thought we called you...there is no childcare today." But they had never calle me. They sign our children in, so it really would have been a courtesy that should have happened. I have been trying to get back into good habits, and it is a struggle for me to even be able to come in the first place. This is just one day...this doesnt happen every day. But it was pretty discouraging. Especially bc gas prices are expensive too.

Positive experience: I miss this gym!!! I moved to Nashville, but I used to attend this gym. I loved the indoor track upstairs, and the myriad of activities/classes available to members. I’ve been to gyms with obnoxious trainers who basically act like you’re in their way when they are working with clients, but I’ve never had that experience with the trainers and clients at this gym. Staff is super friendly. I’d definitely recommend becoming a member. Only reason for not giving five stars, is the equipment could be fixed up faster, and the pool/locker rooms could be a bit more spruced up. Definitely better than other gyms in the are, but still not what’d you expect for the price of membership. All in all really great gym.

Negative experience: This post is not about the facility itself but about their customer service, which is horrendous. I had a positive view of this place until the time that my wife and I cancelled our membership and still got charged 3 extra months (totaling $110) even though we were not using the facility. When I spoke to their manager Alex, I was told that your wife's signature also needed to be there on cancellation form. This is ridiculous because granted her signature was not on there, but why would you not be able to reimburse the amount even though we had NOT buzzed into the place since cancellation. According to him, "it would count as an error on our part". Dude, I don't care about your error, its about doing the right thing, for your customers. Honestly its not even about the money but about basic human decency and customer service and this place disappoints in that regard.
Negative experience: For how expensive a Gym membership is at this place, you would think they would work hard to fix broken gym equipment. One machine in particular has been broken for at least two months and nothing has been done to fix it, some staff is friendly and some are more cocky. I believe you need a bachelor’s degree to work there, yet the ladies at the front desk just sit there on their phones whenever I walk by. I broke my finger just last week at this gym and when I went down to the front desk to ask if they had any first aid or even an ice pack for it, I was told to see if the people working the food stand would give me ice, those people told me that they would not sell ice to me and instead I had to buy a chilled water bottle for $2 to hold against my finger while we drove home. The other day a staff member that I rarely see in there told my boyfriend to move his book bag off of the floor and to put it behind the desk since it is a “tripping hazard” and they don’t allow gym bags on the gym floor. The book bag in question was average sized and right up against the machine that we were using and not in anyone’s way. Not to mention the waiver that you sign when you first get a membership there says that they are not responsible for any stolen property, why would I trust an employee that is never even behind the desk in the gym to make sure that my bag is not stolen? This same staff member then proceeded to walk around the gym and look at equipment that they will never fix and in that process, looked directly at two other guys with big duffel bags thrown in the middle of the floor with their stuff pouring out of it and not a word was said. Seriously me and my boyfriend both watched her look at the guys, look at their duffel bags and walk away, yet my boyfriend who has been going there for 2 years is told to move his book bag. We are seriously thinking about going to another gym because the quality of this one is just not good at all. Newer staff members are not knowledgeable nor helpful and overall it is just a disappointing experience.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, this gym was great a few years ago but it has increasingly gone down hill. The locker room and showers are always filthy, (today there were no towels available for at least the hour and a half that I was there). There were dirty used towels laying all over the floors. Gym equipment that breaks takes forever for them to either have it fixed or replaced. Again today there were no Lysol wipes available to clean the equipment before and after use. Personnel working there are still very friendly but my complaints fall on deaf ears. I know I’m not the only one complaining of how dirty the place has gotten as I’ve heard other members complain too.

Positive experience: The locker room is constantly crowded and not enough seats for people to get changed. The showers do not have a stand for you to place your own personal items. The pool needs maintenance I have had two ear infections from the pool. Some of the equipment is broken. The overall ambience is satisfactory. For the membership fees thing should be really looked into. It really makes me just want to consider going back to planet fitness.

Negative experience: I'm sharing this for a family member. They arrived early for their spin class, about 40 minutes ahead of time. Went to set up their spin bike and virtually all of the bikes will reserved by the instructor except for two. There wasn't anyone else there but they already had seats waiting for them. I don't see how that's appropriate, I believe it's a first come first serve when you arrive at the gym to use equipment. The class is full that's a different story if you're late. But if you get there early and there's only two spots left and there's not another soul there that falls down to the instructor. It's not like you can share a bike.

Positive experience: I am really enjoying this place. I find it to be very clean and well maintained. As well as I love the amenities and assistance it comes with like childcare. My only issue with the place is that they don't have. Hanging stations for babies in any or the restrooms. I figured that at least they could put in in the bathroom across from the childcare room but they have non nowhere and that's a little disappointing. I hope it's an easy fix to accommodated Small children.

Where else can you take a Shower Go in The Jacuzzi then The Steam Room then Shower and Shave in One Area before you go Out to The Gym...I Love The Water Aquatics Classes...I lost 60lbs doing Water Aquatics for Years. Today I Love just Walking around The Indoor Track then I go on The Elliptical mostly but have Days where I do a Low Impact Beginners Yoga Class or I do some Strength Exercises on The Machines with Weights. Some Days its The Upper Part of my Body Arms Chest or Back or The Lower Part of my Body. My Legs or I work my Core on The Machines or The Rowing Machine...With Arthritis I can Go at my Speed and Weight The Gym is Big Enough for everyone to have their Own Space...They don't Honor Silver Sneakers but have Senior Pricing at $30/$35 a Month a Bargain for Everything this Gym has to Offer. Good Luck I'm down 100lbs from 5 Years ago when I first Walked in through those Doors and Walked for 5 Minutes on The Treadmill and left...I came back and did 7 Minutes a few days later...Today I Walk 2 Miles every other day and there are So Many Ways to Walk or Run a few Miles. I don't Run but With an Indoor Track, Elliptical, Treadmill and All Different Types of Bike Machines you wount have a Problem doing Cardio or Taking a Class. Like I said This Gym is Just like what Rome must have been like. I Wish I had more time in my day to be here.

Positive experience: Love all the amenities at this gym, as well as the group classes. But the steam room still isn’t open! Due to “covid”, but people are still allowed in the pools? At least open it and restrict the amount of people in at once, if anything. Also, the fact that the hot tubs are connected to each of the changing rooms is a bit weird. I’m sure many other people agree with this so it’s weird how i don’t see any other people commenting about it! Me and my boyfriend like to work out together but we can’t use the hot tub together afterwards, we just have to awkwardly sit alone in separate jacuzzis, separated by a wall, lol. If the pools aren’t separated by gender why are the hot tubs?? But other than that I really enjoy this gym!
Fantastic experience: Great pool and hot therapy pool plus large hot tub. Very nice lockers, showers and amenities like hair dryers. Towels. Hand sanitizer. Big fitness room. Seniors swim membership is $37/month 5 AM - 3 PM. If you want to swim 3-9 you need to pay full membership price. There is aquasize 9-10 AM. Plus arthritis pool exercise. Call the front desk for current information.
Fantastic experience: I called for pool schedule information and got all my questions answered. There are shorter hours 5AM-3 PM with the senior rate. Very clean and nice amenities. They have a pool with cooler temperature, a hot tub and a very warm/hot therapy pool with jacuzzi jets similar to a hot tub. You have to check when aquasize or a class is occupying the pools. They no longer restrict access the number of people in the pools. Would recommend.

Negative experience: Every time I’m in the EHT office, I wait over an hour just to get to the back! They are never true to your appointment time and have no value of patient’s scheduled times.

Positive experience: Got rid of the machines i liked, sometimes the music is too loud. The bathrooms and showers are almost always filthy, and the towels feel likw they're made of glass. But... The people are fairly nice, the gym floor IS clean (and cool), and its a great location.

Positive experience: The membership fee is fair for the amenities provided. However, I think the pool water treatment may need attention for I've been having some ear aches. Unfortunately people will be slobs and leave towels, bottles, bags behind for someone else to clean behind them. The showers are so so due the nature of peoples poor habits.
