Barnes Corner Fitness & CrossFit^® (BCF24)

Negative experience: Been trying to speak with someone for over a month now but no one ever answers the phone, and by the time I get off work, the front desk person has gone home for the day. I work 13 hr shifts 7 days a week and i really need for someone to help me sign up for membership, but none ever answers the phone

Fantastic experience: I have been at BCF for about a year and a half. Overall, this is a very friendly and welcoming place. It is well equipped for members of all levels, and the owners are continually striving to make improvements. In the relatively short time that I have been a member, I have witnessed an expansion of the gym overall and at least a twofold increase in the number of machines, weights and cardio, on the gym floor. The staff do a great job. The owners are very friendly as are the members. If you are looking for free weights and/or crossfit with members that are serious about working out and understand that you are too - then BCF is your best option.

Fantastic experience: Clean & accessible with a large selection of equipment. Variety of classes for all ages and skill levels. Welcoming community atmosphere. Knowledgeable & courteous staff. Convenient physical therapy. Can even get your oil changed next door while you work out!

Fantastic experience: Top notch equipment and extremely well run. This facility is a gym and a gem. Hidden between Rising Sun and Port Deposit it has all the makings of a big box gym found in the city. All the members are very welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Very nice and clean atmosphere. Good vibes. The other people in the gym with me took care of cleaning their equipment, which was nice to see! Only bad part is that the water fountain does not have a bottle filler on it like alot of other gyms I've been to so bring a water bottle with or fill protein shake before you go. :) Excellent customer care and response to feedback gets them 5 stars!

Positive experience: It’s a great gym if you can ever get your membership card to work. Multiple problems with being locked out after hours. As soon as they fix that it will be a 5 star gym

Fantastic experience: Nice, clean facility with well-maintained equipment. Good variety of classes, but would like to see more schedule variation for people who work 12 hour days.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy the atmosphere here. Granted I go early in the morning or for the evening classes, but the instructors are awesome. Bathroom/shower is always clean too. They also offer a lot which is nice if you are like me and get bored with the same old workout.

Fantastic experience: By FAR the BEST gym I have ever joined! We move constantly because my husband is active duty and Maryland didn’t feel like home until I found the perfect Gym! I Worked out here for the past 2.5 years but only Started CrossFit 6 months ago and it’s been the best 6 months of my (gym life)! The child care, the staff, the trainers, the classes, and especially the CrossFit program are what sets this gym apart from the others.... you’re getting the best of the best when you join here!

Fantastic experience: Love this gym! I joined BCF CrossFit about 6 months ago, and so far everything here has exceeded my expectations of what a gym should be. The owners are super invested in their gym and the people in it- and Miss Sarah in the day care is fantastic with the kids!

Fantastic experience: It’s not your ordinary gym. It’s a community of family and friends. If you have low self esteem, there is someone there that will make you see yourself differently and lift you up. Always will have someone there that will push you further than you thought was possible. Classmates quickly became your best friends. When you dread going to the gym you will look forward to going and being encouraged by your friends to do your best. Going to BCFC will make you feel better and make you a better person! I can’t imagine my life now without these amazing people around me. True story!

Fantastic experience: I started at Barnes Corner several years ago. Rather intermittently due to work schedule, from day one the staff and owners accommodated, were friendly and I have always felt welcome. The gym, cardio equipment, childcare facility and studio are always clean and it’s a welcoming atmosphere. When the crossfit facility first arose, I was also intermittent here due to work. Since November 1st, 2018, I’ve attended CrossFit almost every day (lost 25lbs) in which I contribute almost solely to the Barnes Corner CrossFit community. It’s a family; a motivating and enriching environment where the team and staff support your goals. Everyone is friendly, supports one another, this is a family and it’s place where I can call home.

Fantastic experience: I became a member about 6 months ago and from day 1 I’ve always felt welcome by both the staff and other members. The owners are extremely friendly, supportive, encouraging and truly seem to love helping people achieve their fitness goals. Their support for our military, law enforcement and first responders is wonderful and refreshing. I’ve never experienced another gym quite like it. It’s awesome to have a facility like this 5 minutes from home with that hometown feel. It’s clean and has everything you would need for your fitness goals. I took a leap of courage when I started and tried out CrossFit. I’ve never looked back and I’ve never felt better. I look forward to starting my day here. Fantastic experience: A great place to work on your fitness for all levels . Friendly and fun staff, clean equipment. Plenty of classes to choose from , and also for individual training as well. Barns corner fitness they treat you like family here , One big community of family and fun activities . I highly recommend this for all fitness levels at all ages .

Fantastic experience: I joined BCF 4 years ago. I came from a big gym where I was a member for approximately 15 years. I was nervous to switch gyms but BCF was only 5 minutes from home. Best decision I have ever made. Joined the crossfit community and my fitness level has increased, met awesome friends that treat you like family. The owners Mike & Mindy are so supportive and really care about their members. Best gym around and very affordable. Come out and give it a try you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: I started going to BCF24 when it opened and was teaching group fitness classes. From the start it felt like home away from home. It has everything you would expect and more from a gym. The owners are so friendly and really care about their members. Not only does it feel like home, but the members become family. I joined CrossFit 2years ago & have enjoyed every part of it. I look forward to the days I go and hate it when I miss a class!

Fantastic experience: I haven't had much luck with physical therapy over the years. Until I tried Agape, working with these therapists has been absolute amazing experience. They truly wants to help me find the root of my problem. I cant say enough to express how happy I've been working with them. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Barnes Corner Fitness & Crossfit has been my gym for over four years. When I was looking for a new gym close to home, I came across a new gym that had just opened less than 5 min away. After a week trial, I was all in. When BCF started their crossfit program a few months later I tried it and haven’t looked back. At 52 I’m in the best physical shape I’ve been in since I was in my 20s. I’ve made great friends who have now become my gym family. We hold each other accountable and support each other. Mike and Mindy Montgomery are the best and care deeply about supporting our gym community as well as our individual goals. Come join us! You will work hard but will accomplish things you never thought possible.

Fantastic experience: Great facility. Everyone is very welcoming. Doesn't matter if your a first timer or regular, this gym is for everyone. Biggest plus it's a true 24hr gym compared to other gyms in the area.

Fantastic experience: BCF24 is the ultimate gym! It has group classes, great exercise machines and weight machines. BCF offers something for everyone! No intimidation -- the group instructors are fabulous, always welcoming to new members, and always provide a great workout. The members are friendly and all ages, shapes, sizes and fitness levels. I always feel at home at BCF24. I started in March to work on upper body strength. Six months later... WOW!...I feel amazing and look like I workout! I am over 55 years old and haven't felt this good since my 30s. Come check it out and give BCF24 a try. You will be glad you did!
