Negative experience: I visited this weekend, but didn’t feel comfortable giving my information to the young man behind the counter. He said my picture wasn’t in the system. I asked if he worked there, since he wasn’t wearing a uniform. He said he did, but he just gave me a weird vibe.

Positive experience: The staff mostly is nicer here then constant friendship ! They still have rules but are not as stuck up and controlling about the rules, its cleaner too in the bathroom and no peak holes in the tanning bed rooms, less people goofing around on the equipment not really using it !

Negative experience: I am a new PF Black Card member. When signing up, I saw the advertisement for PF HS Summer Pass program. I was impressed with the program’s initiative and goal for teens, so I eagerly registered my teen as required so she and I could work out together. Saturday, June 28, my daughter and I attempted to use this facility for the first time but was refused entry by front desk staff member, Charles. Although there is no mention of a teen ID requirement on PF page or the Summer Pass page, Charles still refused us entry. My teen just turned 16 so she doesn't have a government picture ID that she travels with. He then requested her student ID to verify her date of birth. 1) My teen doesn't travel with her high school ID, 2) This "requirement” isn't listed anywhere, and 3) There is no DOB listed on a school ID. When I explained this to Charles, he still refused entry. I asked Charles if my teen would be required to show her school ID every visit. Charles said she would be verified by him and reoccurring ID verification wouldn't be necessary. Then I asked if she came in as PFBC guest, could she enter. He stated that her ID was still required. I then offered to show my own ID to Charles. He did not want to see my ID, stating that my scanned QR was sufficient. My PFBC app provided scanned QR is valid with no ID yet my registered PFSP teen’s app provided QR requires ID??? No one was trying to circumvent facility rules. We planned to workout! Whatever the rules are, they should be in writing for patrons to follow! Charles or any other front desk staffer member should never come up “rules” and deny entry to paying members! This experience was our first- Extremely disappointing and frustrating. I won't recommend and more than likely, I will cancel my membership.

Negative experience: Not happy...several machines are not working. Most of all, the tanning beds are either inoperable or have several lights out, on this most recent visit there were 4 bulbs out in two machine and 8 yes 8 bulbs out in another. I have brought this to the attention of the desk more thane once. They are too busy on their phones to write it down i guess. They don't seem to care.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! It’s always super clean & the staff are so friendly. Today Dave, a personal trainer here, tapped me on the shoulder while i was struggling with a machine and showed me the proper technique. I was totally struggling and he was so helpful! I speak on behalf of all PFit customers when thank all of the staff, janitors included, for being so personable and always going out of their way for assurance of customers safety and satisfaction! :)

Negative experience: Staff is okay but then when I called to try and figure something out I’m getting two different answers from different people. Plant fitness as a whole is kind of scummy, instead of just charging a late fee for the services or taking it out of my savings account, they take money from your CREDIT card that was not authorized to be on my account. One person tells me that since my credit card is linked to my account they take it from there Then they are trying to tell me that I would have had to physically come in to add my credit card on file and they told me the day that it was “added” but I know for a FACT I was at work ALL DAY so I wouldn’t have had anytime to do that. Then told them I was going to cancel my services because I don’t really go there and I work out at home and they told me that even if I cancel now I’ll still be charged for the month!! How stupid is that??? I’m still getting charged even though I’m canceling the service BEFORE payment comes out. You’d be better off going to another gym or working out at home tbh. Save yourself the trouble and the $25 a month, not worth the damn headache

Please note, to stop the billing of your monthly membership on the 17th, the club must receive written notice delivered by the 10th in person or through mail, as it may take up to 7 business days for billing changes to take effect. Negative experience: Unsanitary/filthy restrooms . As always , there's attendants at the front desk idly standing by and / or on their cellphones . The mens restroom hasn't been cleaned in over 2 weeks ! Smells of mold , urine etc . And the floor in stalls and showers is covered with hair and filth ! Management/ Franchise owner should have their business license suspended or revoked !

Positive experience: Mostly a nice planet fitness. Some of the employees, mostly on day shift, are rude, sit on the counters, have conversations, and watch call of duty videos on the conputers instead of greeting and helping guests. Please get better staff. (Especially get rid of the Asian dude.)

Positive experience: Regular Planet Fitness. Hot water in men’s locker room is weird. Multiple showers have to be running for the water to get hot. TRUCKERS DO NOT PARK HERE. There’s an Ollie’s 0.1 miles away where you can park comfortably and walk to workout and shower

Fantastic experience: My favorite location in Harford county. I like the large stretching and ab area. They just got all new equipment recently as of Sept. 2024. Lots of cardio machines. Tanning beds and massage beds are available. I personally like the massage bed. No real complaints.

Negative experience: I go here 3 times a week and today the general manager told me my payment was A FEW DAYS late. I told him I will pay it now in the app. THAT SHOULD Have BEEN THE END OF IT RIGHT THERE BUT NO! He then goes on and tells me it will be a late fee. I said ok not a problem. He gets mad at me at my response and says he will not allow me in next time. I said well I just paid it and he says it doesn’t show up in the system right away. So how you going to deny me entrance when you can’t even see I paid it smh. I feel my race had alot to do with this general manager treating me the way he did and they don’t like black people at that gym.

Fantastic experience: I am a Black Card member and was traveling through the area with some free time. I found the staff friendly, the gym very clean, and the number of machines and space to be terrific. The treadmills all looked new. It was a little crowded but everyone was respectful. There was a minimum of phone checkers sitting on machines. While I like my home site I was a little jealous.

Negative experience: I travel a lot and sometimes want to get a workout while I’m there; they didn’t offer a three-day pass, which is not cool
Hi Friend, we do offer a Day Fee for multiple visits. The day fee is the fee a non-member/guest pays for use of the gym for one day. The day fee allows potential members to try the facility before committing to a membership. The full amount of the day fee applies towards membership fees if the visitor joins that location within 30 days of the visit.
Positive experience: The location tries to keep the area clean and for the most part they do. More effort should be made in repairing the hydro massauge equipment. Also, they should be aware of how much time some people spend on certain equipment, weights, not allowing others an opportunity to use the equipment. The water flow in the urinals should be fixed. The urinals stink because of low/no flow of water. This has a problem for a while.

Inside its very nice, I was asked for a one day pass and they said it's no way I said, I can pay for one day, because I'm long distance truck driver and came from different state.,Nop I have to buy membership Its crazy

Fantastic experience: Love it ! It is a newer facility that is well taken care of. They are always cleaning. Sometimes it gets busy like Monday evening but one just has to look and work out on a machine with a person on each side. Overall we are very happy.

Negative experience: This has to be one of the worse and broke down gym ever. The ceiling fan in the smith machine area is about to fall in the floor. I fear it’s going to finally fall on someone and injure them. The hand grips on the hammer strength machine is ducked taped and completely ripped. Been that way since last year. Multiple cardio machines are broken for months. None of the fans worked on them for years. Hand grips are torn on several of the weight machines. The gym is always has trash and paper on the floor. Constantly picking up weight attachments off the floor every single day. Staff is friendly but only walks around to fill bottles and check the trash. Never neat or tidy like Forest Hill. Smith machines haven’t been serviced in years, They are noisy and sound like they are on their last leg. In comparison to the other gyms. Abederdeen is the worst in all I have been in Maryland. The owner clearly is not investing in his gym at all and cares nothing about the upkeep of the equipment or the overall appearance.

Fantastic experience: When I joined PlantFit , I joined with the idea I can use the gym facilities in any state, since I travel. I forgot that the Black Card members can use the relaxing room and get a ten minute massage. Mr Calvin Foster always reminds me on my way out if I’m not going to get a massage, most of the time I use the room thanks to him. Mr. Foster sure know how to make a customer feel valuable and want to keep on coming back.

Negative experience: The website for this location says that I can come in for a free work out to check out the gym. I drove across town and was told that they will not honor the advertisement. The price for a single day is $20. False advertising, wasted a lot of my time.

Negative experience: Seriously don't feel comfortable working out here had another customer just jump on a piece of equipment I was using and ignoring me when I asked politely for him to move. Went and got store manager to help. And manager decided I was the one in the wrong because I wasn't touching the equipment when the other customer jumped on without asking. I was between sets doing setups on the ground next to it. Then I just sat on the equipment instead of doing setups and that same customer came and yelled at me for setting on the equipment I was using. Because the manager didn't say a thing to him

Fantastic experience: I visit 5-6 different PFs the Aberdeen location is my favorite. Always greet you and say goodbye. The equipment and bathrooms are squeaky clean and housekeeping is so nice.

Positive experience: It gets a little overcrowded sometimes but so do a lot of places. A lot of equipment and plenty of options to switch it up. Massage chairs, tanning, food and drinks. It has it all.

Fantastic experience: Planet fitness in Aberdeen is really nice. I lost one of my AirPods in the elliptical there and everyone that worked there was so helpful in helping me retrieve it. The next day the maintenance man came in and got them me. Super friendly and amazing staff !

Negative experience: Been coming here for years with no issue and something recently has changed. Bathrooms/locker rooms often don't have toilet paper and are incredibly dirty. The floors are nasty, the sinks are covered in build up and grime and frequently not working. Hot water is also hard to come by in the showers and frequently just shuts off entirely and you're left with a freezing cold I get it, it's 10 bucks a month but this place has gotten grosser and grosser.

Fantastic experience: Clean, lots of machines, especially the cardio machines, affordable, not crowded during my visits. I do wish they had 2 of some weight machines.

Negative experience: Love coming here but 2 stars is a reflection on lack of plumbing maintenance and some other maintenance that needs TLC.

Negative experience: I'm all for gender affirming care. But why is it that lately there are men just dressed as women in the women's locker room? 5 o'clock shadows, and all. I shouldn't have to walk out and see someones... family jewels and what not while they're bent over pulling their shorts up. There are teen girls that go in there. This was a large person who could easily intimidate women and young girls. It hardly feels like a place where a woman can feel relaxed.

Negative experience: It seems that this club cannot get it together. Water fountain not functional. Asked about getting a free bottle of water was told we cannot do that....ummmm what is wrong with the Management and staff at this location? Management never on site. Staff not empowered to provide good customer service. Owner always responds talk to Management or we are addressing the issue. Well you cannot talk to Management if they are never on site. My Home PF is In Elkton, Md thank GOD. If this is your HOME PF I really am sorry. If you are travelling and in Aberdeen Md drive to Abingdon, MD or Elkton MD location. Only reason I come here is I am in the area maybe 1 or 2 times a month. AVOID this PF at all costs!!!!!
