Climb At Rio

Experiencia positiva: That fact laredo has a climbing gym is awesome but if you become a regular, you'll finish most routes within a week or two and find yourself wanting more route variation quickly. The only down side is definitely the route refreshes, as they don't get updated often so my friends and I have been making our own most days. Other than that you should give the gym a try! Would definitely give a highter rating if they were to set up a weekly route refresh to keep the regulars wanting to come back every week.

Experiencia fantástica: No complaints here! Paul runs an awesome gig, laid back environment that has all you could ask for in a rock climber gym. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, helping out and giving advice/tips. One wall roughly 30 ft tall. The routes are rated based on Yosemite scale and IMO actuate. Four auto belay stations for solo climbers and they allow traversing the wall for bouldering. I forget the number of Top rope options & they have sport climbing available too! Price is crazy reasonable. The hours are slim but since not alot of people climb in Laredo you won’t be fighting anyone to get on any routes. We climbed for 2.5 hours and left with jello arms ???? They offer punch cards at a discounted price which I recommend getting! I did and will be be back soon Climb on!

Experiencia fantástica: Wow, this is probably my new fav place in Laredo. First and foremost the staff are grade A and so professional. I was greeted and oriented to the entire facility. The staff ensured we understand the safety protocol/practices and gave us lots of tips on how to be successful and have fun safely. The staff is COVID conscience and everyone wore masks and promoted a liquid chalk that has alcohol in it. Chris and Pablo did a great job to ensure my experience was awesome. This facility also has a gym in with qualified instructors as well. I really liked the fact kids climbing lesson are available and this facility also teaches and encourages individuals with disabilities to climb. This is a must stop for an awesome work out and fun in Laredo.

Experiencia positiva: As an experienced reviewer my honest review will reflect my visit and personal views of this local establishment and personel. This is something different from what you used to see in Laredo, I like that is different when it comes to exercise. I liked the exercise routines that are offer.The personel is friendly and helpful. Prices are ok, considering that most things here in Laredo are borderline pricey. I believe that the walls could be higher, but overall you wont be disappointed. 3 stars out of five, 5 being stellar.

Experiencia fantástica: All of us are first timers but Instructor Luis facilitated very well. Had a great time while exercising. Wide range of climbing shoe sizes, stable new harness, safety ropes are all present. They keep on adding different obstacles and has a wide variety of slopes and inclines you can scale from. It has side gym that offer cross fit-like training. They offer reasonable price for a session. The front desk lady is even patient with finding the proper fit of my climbing shoes. Laredo is very blessed to have this kind of unique fitness/sports/fun gym to hang out! :)
