CrossFit^® Vertigo

Experiencia fantástica: I tried CrossFit gyms all over Houston before I made it to Vertigo. Bigger well known gyms and some smaller ones. When I walked into Vertigo I immediately felt welcome, which in my experience is hard to find. More than 3 years later, I'm just as excited to get in the door after work at the end of the day, to visit and work hard, as I was on day one. Only difference is I feel a little less like I'm going to barf at the end than I did then. The owners (Kurt and Laura) and coaches are awesome and care about and give attention to each individual. The workouts are intense but safety is paramount here. The coaches will work to scale the workouts so that it will still be results oriented, but without compromising mechanics and overall safety. To this day what matters most to me though is how relaxed and down to earth everyone here is. Love it here!

Experiencia fantástica: As I moved to Houston, I started looking for a new gym. I tried about a few but when I hit Crossfit Vertigo, I quit looking. On my first day walking in the gym everyone said hello and introduced themselves which you just don't find everywhere. This place has clean floors and equipment and the nicest crossfitters in the area! I absolutely love this gym and all the people in it. The coaches really care about your goals and safe mechanics. If you are trying to find a Gym, come straight here and dont waste time at the others! I'm sure you will find it a home away from home just as I did.

Experiencia fantástica: My family and crossfit family lost our gym, but everyone there have been so supportive!!!! They make you give all that you have and I love that about them!!! They also are a good atmosphere for children an air conditioned room. They let you get there early or stay later if you really want to work on something!!! They love getting to know you and help you scale down if you need to. So don't think it is going to be a bad experience go for it!!! The gym, atmosphere, coaches, and other athletes are all there for you and want you to excel.

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I have been attending the classes at CrossFit Vertigo since August of 2013. The coaches are amazing and the atmosphere is so inspirational. All of the members are so supportive of each other and it definitely makes you feel comfortable and empowered. I highly recommend CrossFit Vertigo to anyone looking to join CrossFit! The experience is so life changing and the coaches are with you every step of the way. Technique is very important in preventing injuries and here the coaches take the time to show you the correct technique for the movements and promote safe weightlifting! No matter your skill level, the workouts are very intense and rewarding at the same time. Workouts can be scaled to meet your needs without hindering those who are proficient in the movements. Their Kid's CrossFit program is wonderful, as well! The workouts are super fun and challenging. There is nothing like seeing a smile on your child's face after each workout. They too, have become CrossFit addicts and I truly believe it is because they have amazing coaches! CROSSFIT VERTIGO ROCKS!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Love this place and these people!! As a first time crossfitter I can definitely say that I felt welcome and comfortable immediately. The equipment and facility is kept immaculate and clean. The WODs are challenging and always keep me guessing and striving for improvement. The owners are extremely active and involved as coaches. The 5 AM class is an awesome jump start to my day and my 6 year old has so much fun on Thursday evenings during Kid's CrossFit. This facility has a class for everyone...our entire family has joined and loves it.
