Experiencia fantástica: Great swim lessons even for non members. Inside facilities look great. We have only ever used the pools.

Experiencia fantástica: Facilities were clean and in good working order. We were there for a 3rd bday party and it was perfect! Just big enough to have 10 plus kids doing there thing and not be worried. The veranda and walk to the pool is beautiful and the pool is huge with slides and deep end jumping board... There is also a smaller wading style kids pool and a couple splash towers in the back. I would add pictures but they have everyone else's kids in them too so no thanks

Experiencia fantástica: Burkwood has 3 primary focuses: Aquatics, Fitness, and Tennis. They do an excellent job at all 3. For aquatics they have a large pool open only in the summer, an indoor pool open year round, and an additional outdoor pool that they put a bubble over in the colder months. For fitness they have a huge fitness facility with tons of group classes that are included in your membership. For tennis they have indoor courts, outdoor hard courts and outdoor clay courts. While Burkwood not outrageously expensive it's not cheap. However, if you into all 3 (aquatics, fitness, tennis) you'll get a "great" value for your dollar. If you are into 2 of the 3 you'll definitely get "good" value for your dollar. If you're into just one of the 3 and you'll use the facility at least 4 or 5 times a week you'll get a "good" value for your dollar. They also do a lot extra little things that enhance your membership - special parties here and there, movie nights at the pool, and this past summer they had bands come out and play in their field. It's a great family oriented place.

Experiencia fantástica: This was our first summer as members and I must say I've been pleasantly surprised. I've never been a member of any type of club like this before (country, racquet, swim, etc), only typical gym like am fam, gold's, snap, etc. But this place is definitely a step above when it comes to the needs of a family. If I wasn't interested in tennis and only used pools for exercise, maybe it wouldn't be as good a fit, but for a family with multiple children it has been amazing and no other membership has come close to offering as much.
