Experiencia fantástica: I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS PLACE. I HAVE BEEN RENTING FROM THEM A COUPLE YEARS NOW. THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND VERY HELP FULL IN IN EVERY WAY. THEY TAKE THE TIME TO SHOW YOU HOW TO LOAD THE BOARDS , SO THAT YOU WONT BE CLUELESS WHEN YOU HAVE TO DO IT YOURSELF. AGAIN THE STAFF IS WONDERFUL!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Rented equipment from here and got a sleeping bag that didn’t zip. Went camping in freezing temperatures and had to jerry rig a way to seal the bag. Worked out fine in the end. When I returned the equipment, I explained the problem and the students working at the facility were really considerate. They didn’t fine me for the previous damage because they took my word on it. However, I caution you to CHECK your rentals BEFORE you take them out camping (if you are renting from here.) I did not do this, and dealt with the consequences. You can avoid this by being prudent to check any gear that is super necessary for your health/safety, like tents and sleeping bags. I would love to rent from here again! I would still reccommend CORE as the best place in town for gear rentals. (I will check the gear before leaving.) All in all, if you are camping in the cold, err on the side of being over prepared. -Happy Hiking -Ana :)
