Experiencia fantástica: Clean, inviting place. Some days more full, some days handful of people. Only use weights & machines. My level is safe & slow. Working for strengthing. Pool, sauna & yoga, kids play/watch area. Totally cool place!

Experiencia fantástica: This recreational place, which contains gyms and swimming pools for all ages, is a clean and safe place for the family, hot and clean water, and a safe closed place for the safety of children. It has a jacuzzi, swimming pools and gymnasiums for slimming and building muscle. They have programs for all ages at competitive prices supported for families with limited income. I recommend it to all families and individuals who want cleanliness and reasonable price

Experiencia fantástica: The staff are always friendly and helpful. The facility is always kept clean and organized, with lots of variety of exercise equipment, programs and classes. Also, I appreciate the various services the Y provides to the community at large, giving opportunities for personal growth and well-being to people who otherwise may not have the resources to access for themselves.

Experiencia positiva: I think it's a real cool location and a nice gym. I am sorely missing the amenities provided at Atlanta YMCA. I will explain why: the ladies washroom was a bit odd. It was like a maze trying to navigate the locker room. The wet sauna was not functioning correctly and was out of order. The jacuzzi is CO-ED, but was a bit outdated as comparing to Atlanta YMCA. At the Atlanta YMCA, they had waitstaff handling the towels and had cart full of dry fresh towels. I did not see that there at Austin Townlake YMCA. The Austin YMCA ladies locker room lacked the space to sit down and blow dry hair. There was only enough for 4 people when in Atlanta, at least 10 ladies could fit in a huge garage size locker to fix their hair. They had huge BINS for used towels. It was carted out on hourly basis. I was discouraged knowing I had to bring my own towel. While this may be nice for the others, I have experience better facilities especially the LAYOUT of the locker room.
