Experiencia fantástica: I started rock climbing at the Alexandria location when I was a student at George Mason University. The setters have only gotten better. The Sterling location is closer to my home in Herndon, so this is now my main gym. Sport Rock upholds a high standard when it comes to cleanliness and professionalism. The staff are friendly and easy to talk to. If it is your first time rock climbing, I recommend going at an hour that is not so busy. The gym is small, but that doesn't stop masses of people from stopping by after work. Usually, the gym is empty on sunny weekends because everyone is climbing outdoors.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been climbing at Sportrock for over 20 years, so I know them quite well. It is by far the best climbing gym I've experienced. I've climbed in other gyms, some bigger, and some fancier. However, our route setters are superior to any others who's climbs I've done. They do an amazing job at providing a variety of fun climbs, with creative movement, and requiring different types of skills: technique, balance, power, etc. All my many climbing friends agree.The managers do a wonderful job at presenting a clean and safe environment. There's numerous classes, and great pricing. Members get discounts on classes and gear. Check it out.

Experiencia fantástica: My son and I took the Basic Skills class. Natalie and Erin were so patient, calm, and positive while my 13 year old son was trying to learn the knots. They continued to be encouraging, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire class. Gold stars for the two of these ladies! Thank you so much!
