Experiencia fantástica: If I could give Apogee Jiu Jitsu ten stars out of 5 I would. I seriously couldn’t say enough good things about the coaches and the team as a whole. The level of personalized coaching you get from this team is world class. My wife and I trained here for a month while on an extended stay in Tahoe and we were welcomed in so quickly. I might come back to Tahoe just to train here some more.

Experiencia fantástica: Apogee Jiu Jitsu: Extremely welcoming environment for ALL! All skill levels, all body types, all humans. Grappling is a tough sport, and these guys and this environment they've created, make it a lot easier. I'm a small female, have been training a little over a year, and I've never felt anything but safe from the moment I first stepped on these mats 6 months ago. I know not every female grappler can say the same about gyms they've been to, which just goes to show how special this place is. If it's your first class ever, a coach will take you aside and teach you the basics. It's a casual environment, so while there is a team connection, there's no weird rituals and anyone is welcome to roll. Out of town guests are always welcome and treated with utmost respect. Questions are always welcome and encouraged, and if you don't want to roll, or something makes you uncomfortable, there's no pressure. They understand everyone is training for a different reason and have so much respect for that. Drop in and check it out! You won't regret it.

Experiencia fantástica: My kids have been training for jiu jitsu at this gym for the past couple weeks. We have really enjoyed it. The coaches know what they are doing and work very well with the kids. I would recommend for any parents looking to put their kids into something. The gym is also very clean, there is a lady cleaning every time we go and she does a great job! Also, everyone who works there that we have met are very nice, and helpful!

Experiencia fantástica: My favorite gym in South Lake Tahoe! I am in the area quite frequently, and I always make time to hit up this gym. It is so clean, and very well maintained. They have all the equipment you need, and have two large, separate areas for weights and cardio. Extra points for having a ski erg (not many gyms have that). I really want to check out their classes as I hear they are really good! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Awesome place. Definitely wish they had more locations and gyms like theirs!
