Experiencia fantástica: I'm 345lbs and have not gotten the slightest feeling that I don't belong. Everyone keeps to themselves and does their own thing. Staff is friendly and to-the-point with questions.

Experiencia fantástica: Way better than Metuchen YMCA. Staff is a lot friendlier and helpful. Well maintained facility. Clean and quiet gym. Swimming program is great. I wish more variety of classes are offered here. However, this is my favorite YMCA location out of the 3/4 in the area.

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice place. Have now used it but was involved when it was being planned. Former Mayor O'Leary had worked very hard along with the Former Business Administrator Camille Tooker and the City Council to bring this to South Amboy. It's located at the end of South Broadway. If you go don't forget to stop by the County Park located on the other side of the railroad tracks. Great views of the Bay area. There is a walking path that goes from the Gazebo north to the Former boat launch. If you don't want to park in the park parking lot go past the entrance and then make the first Right turn. Follow that until it turns to the left. Once past the pool (private) go about 1 more block and park on the street. There are no signs but in-between every other house there is a walkway to the walking path. It is public access so if you are bringing a cooler it is shorter than walking from the park parking lot. Go even further down the road till the only right turn. Make that turn and it leads to the fishing parking lot. It is NOT just for fisherman/women. So if you Fish or want to be right by the sand and water DON'T go into the park. Pass the park entrance and make first Right. Follow it around the left bend to the first right. Parking lot is right there. I believe you need a fishing license.

Experiencia fantástica: Very Clean! And I feel like nobody is on you when working out so you can work out peacefully and confident that you’re doing whatever you want without judgement from people. The staff are very nice and friendly. If you need training they have very good trainers for a very reasonable price. I did It once and that helped me keep on with my routine, specially when you don’t know whatm to do with all the machines! ????
