Experiencia fantástica: One of Scott County’s best kept secrets, Daniel Evans is a Tae Kwon Do Master/Teacher, 4th degree black belt, who patiently shares with students of all ages the core mixed martial arts and Tae Kwon Do skills that he’s learned and developed over his lifetime of continuous learning that includes an extensive competitive career (check out his trophy corners). The maturity of his Black Belt program is clearly demonstrated in his loyal team of competent black belts who also share in the patient teaching of new students of all ages and physical shapes and sizes. Students in his classes will be able to proceed at their own pace & ability. Many classes that I’ve seen over many months include layers of teaching that go beyond typical forms and moves to explain the practical reasons for each move and the logic of their order. He and his assistants connect the dots so students can move beyond purely physical muscle memory and basic knowledge to actual wisdom and deeper understanding of the “physics” involved in each move. Of course, the students must do their part and prepare, pay attention, listen and consistently apply the simple but profound lessons being given in every class.
