Experiencia fantástica: Eric is a great instructor. He personally demonstrates practical techniques that can be used in everyday situations. He is very knowledgeable and has designed classes for all ages. It’s also a fun workout designed to improve fitness. I highly recommend the SLL Grappling Academy if you want to learn Brazilian Jujitsu the right way.

Experiencia fantástica: We were looking for a life skill we felt could aid our children in evading or combating a bad situation for their daily safety. We felt JiuJitsu would be beneficial because at their age, attackers/abductors are older and stronger and tend to grab kids, kids rarely produce enough striking force to hurt an adult. Also kids that fight tend to end up on the ground and it becomes a grabbing match instead. So we wanted a martial art that taught grappling instead of striking. We came across SLL which provided a free trial and also fit into our schedule. We were sold after the third or fourth day when my husband was play wrestling with our daughter at home and she managed to put him in a triangle choke, he said it actually hurt and it was hard for him to get out. We could already imagine how much more effective and beneficial this could be for our kids in the future with more training. Erik (owner/coach) is very friendly and patient with our kids. He makes the learning environment non-intimidating, fun and upbeat. At first, our daughter was highly skeptical, assuming she will hate it, but halfway into the session she was smiling and was sold at the end. He makes sure everyone is safe when doing their moves and is attentive to each student. We're excited how much our kids have already gained in confidence and desire to learn more skills at SLL!

Experiencia fantástica: SLL is an amazing gym ran by an amazing trainer! Eric does a great job helping understanding the basics while still teaching at a high volume. While still a new trainee, I feel like I’m learning at a good pace without feeling overwhelmed. The gym offers a wide variety of class times to fit your schedule and allows you to move at your own pace while still feeling comfortable. I’d recommend this BJJ gym to anybody at any different skill level as Eric will accommodate to you! Thanks again and I look forward to continuing my training!

Experiencia fantástica: REALLY awesome gym, it's new so this is really the perfect time to start. The Coach really takes his time showing you technique he has no problem repeating anything and with just one small tweak he really changed my grappling game.
