Experiencia fantástica: I like that this gym is locally owned instead of being a big gym chain. It's laid back and overall a great atmosphere.

Experiencia positiva: Here are the Pros: This is your basic smaller scale gym with plenty of machines & equipment for all shapes and sizes to choose from. They have separated showers as well as tanning rooms. The facility is kept clean, well maintained & is accessible 24/7. Fees for use are reasonable; $10 p/mo for one Basic membership or $20 p/mo for VIP membership that includes bringing a guest at any time. Now for the Cons: I visited this establishment with my spouse. Rather than pay for 2 memberships on automatic withdrawal, it made more sense for us to get the VIP membership to use together so we started the membership in his name and I was viewed as a Guest of one of their members. Personally, I think that it would be more productive and positive for the business & potential members if employees were more welcoming to "Guests". Why wouldn't they try to get a "Guest" to sign up for their own membership & increase revenue in addition to providing a good service? I'm still baffled and bothered by how rude the front desk staff treated us. My spouse went in and headed to work out, I followed and stopped at the front counter to sign in per the procedure. (They keep a Visitor Sign-In List at the front door/desk that they require guests to write down the date of visit, guest name printed & signed, and printed name of the member. Although the gym is not staffed 24/7, the guest sign-in sheet is always at the front desk and always required to be filled out.) The 2 front desk employees stopped their conversation when I approached and one snapped at me asking who was I there with, what's the members name, are they in the building with me because they're required to be there if I am. After answering all of her questions that I just wrote down on the sign-in sheet, she then says, "Well you'll have to call or text him and have him come to the front desk to confirm he's here and that you're his guest." My spouse had started his workout at this point and was not going to answer his phone so I walked around the corner and interrupted him to come resolve the issue. The really stupid thing.... they're only staffed until 7pm so who's responsible for enforcing this unwelcoming Guest policy after-hours?
