Experiencia positiva: The first thing to know - Metroflex is a “hardcore” weightlifting gym. There are cardio machines, but they take up a small portion of the building. You go here because you want to lift heavy, and because you want something open 24/7. There are a few downsides. While the racks and machines are generally clean, the floor is dirty, and a lot of the machines, bars, and plates are rusty or tattered. They work, just don’t expect anything slick. There’s also a non-stop rap, rock, and EDM soundtrack, so if you don’t like that, be sure to bring a good pair of noise-canceling earbuds. In the end though the gym has an unusual charm, and it’s a good place to be if you want to aim for a 500-pound deadlift or a 300-pound bench.

Experiencia fantástica: So far so good. This is a no frills gym. The equpment is old, but works. Its definately not your juicebar gym with massage chairs. A warehouse full of any equipment you could possibly need to meet your goals, and lots of friendly people. THIS is the true no judgement zone. Just a bunch of people showing up to put in work to better themselves. I love the lack of "influencer types" and lack of sitting around. Everyone here is just busy gettin it. Ive been to almost every gym in atx, and this was my final stop. So glad I gave them a shot. It aint pretty, nor is it fancy, but if youre about puttin in work, its definately the place.

Experiencia fantástica: I am currently going to this gym to see a posing coach. Ms. Amber is great. She works with me to get together for time and dates. Reasonable pricing. She makes me feel very comfortable and she has been very helpful. The gym itself looks like a great atmosphere! Lots of space and lots of equipment.
