Experiencia fantástica: Takes 2 Fitness downtown is excellent! A small space that uses their real estate efficiently, they have all the equipment you need for an strenuous workout. Holden, a personal trainer at this location, is excellent, and will put you through the paces in an engaging and kick ass workout. Highly recommend this space and their personal trainers!

Experiencia fantástica: I happened upon this personal training gym because it is conveniently located in my work building. I could not be more thrilled with the happenstance. The facility is a good size (and rarely feels crowded), is immaculately maintained and has nice amenities. But the real reason for the 5 star review is the staff. David, one of the co-owners, was very welcoming and thorough in my introductory meeting. I immediately felt inspired to give it a go and was matched with Holden as my personal trainer. Holden is great, simply put. His work out plans are well thought out, completely customized and challenging in the best way. He's got a great attitude and demeanor and I actually look forward to going to get my bum kicked. No intimidation here, just inspiration and motivation.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been a client of Takes 2 Fitness for almost a full year now – and while I can't believe I'm saying this about a gym, I actually like going there! The facility is clean, well-maintained, and truly could not be more convenient with my office downtown. So many gyms get tired, grimy, and smelly or charge you a fortune for a cushy luxury experience without any actual real workout equipment, but Takes 2 is a perfect marriage of exercise and ease, and without the overwhelming crowds of a big box warehouse. Moreover, the training staff is first-rate and perhaps the real gem of the business. I've been working out with Holden for almost six months now, and while I'm still fat, I actually enjoy our weekly sessions – and that may be the biggest compliment I could ever pay a gym or personal trainer. Perhaps one of Nashville's brightest gems!
