I fell in love with boxing and fitness , after moving and growing our family I was searching for a gym to fall back in love with the sport and get the amazing workouts boxing training requires. Toby is a great coach I am extremely lucky to have found his gym! I am excited to learn from Toby he is extremely knowledgeable and a great trainer! I am excited for each class learning new skills and I leave here motivated and eager to return. If you are looking for a great facility , atmosphere , coach , and a phenomenal work out . Experiencia fantástica: Can not recommend Toby and Lake Norman Jiu Jitsu enough. I have checked out other gyms and continue to be back at Lake Norman Jiu Jitsu. Instilling the fundamentals of martial arts and focus on detail is Toby’s expertise. The classes are fun and competitive teaching you how to be ready in a real world situation or for competition on the mat. Being a True Warrior gives you confidence to tackle larger opportunities in your personal life and it’s an existing honor to be apart of the tribe.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely love the instructional lessons that my son is getting. My nine-year-old has started here in the last two months and has learn more than at a studio he was at for over two years. We truly truly enjoy this studio.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and son have been working with Toby for a few months and love his style of instruction and the gym environment. Each session they are improving and learning new techniques. Toby is engaged in the student’s progress and providing corrections and encouragement as needed. He will push you to keep going, he will not let you quit. There are a variety of skill levels present, the structure is such that the more experienced help as well to guide the novices. Discipline is such an important lesson to instill in our children and in ourselves!

Experiencia fantástica: True Warrior is a great gym! Toby is an exceptional trainer, but he also has a great group of students who are very knowledgeable and eager to help new students. My 12 year old son and I have been training here for several months together and have really enjoyed the experience. Toby does a great job with kids and keeps them focused during drills. My son has been involved in many sports over the years, and has always complained about going in the past. He looks forward to going to True Warrior and he is very interested in becoming better. This has been a great experience for us together, and we have both learned a lot in the process. My sons self confidence has definitely increased since beginning this class. I highly recommend True Warrior!
