Experiencia positiva: If you’re looking for a gym in Mineral Wells with a variety of basic weightlifting & cardio equipment + some more private space if you don’t like to train publicly, then All-Terrain Fitness is a great option. The staff is great. It’s well lit and feels safe any time of day that I have been in there. I only rated it 4 out of 5 stars due to the lack of serious strength training equipment and the issue of unsupervised children most anytime after 7 am. If you’re looking to train for power lifting or strongman competitions, then you will find there’s a serious lack of strength training equipment, designated areas and variety. There are only 2 squat racks total and they double as the bench press area as well so it can get crowded. There are no deadlift platforms, no crash pads and no specialty bars. I’ve offered to purchase this style of equipment and let them pay it off over time from me but they decline and continue buying more treadmills and 1990’s style nautilus workout machines. Hence, I drive an hour to a strength training gym in Fort Worth a few days a week that has everything I need & more to train adequately. The owner has declined letting me bring my own strength training equipment and keeping it there for me and others to use. Lastly, if you are planning on lifting heavy - I would advise not going after 7 am because the “no children on equipment” rule is not enforced. Often young kids are running around weight racks, through cable machines and around benches. I will not go later in the day for fear of dropping a weight on an unattended child or crushing their finger between weight plates on equipment. With all that said - for the options available in Mineral Wells, I find it’s the best option at this time with an okay variety of equipment. However, I feel there is definitely room for improvement.

Experiencia fantástica: Nice place. Clean and spacious. Definitely need to add some more chest and shoulder machines. There are way to many leg machines. I love that it is 24 hour!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I am so happy to have finally found a gym this great. Got to meet the owner to sign up and she is amazing. The vibe is great and I'm so excited to take on my fitness journey in this gym. Everything looks clean and neat and in its place. They have a lot of little perks.
