Experiencia fantástica: I have been a member here since 2012, and can say hands down that this is the best gym I have ever been to. Brian, the owner, is very welcoming, and knows a tremendous amount about powerlifting. In addition, the members of this gym are also some of the nicest people I have met. While in most commercial gyms it seems as though everyone is out for themselves, that is not the case at Orlando Barbell. The atmosphere is very friendly, and no one hesitates to spot one another, as well as give advice. In regards to the equipment, it has everything a gym-goer could want in a gym. From machines, cardio equipment and free weights, to more specialized equipment such as bands, chains, specialty bars, and sleds, this gym has equipment to suit every need.

There are a lot of impressive lifters at this gym, but the population is way more diverse than that. There are plenty of members who are willing to provide guidance and who foster a positive atmosphere. Brian is one of the most welcoming and humble business owners I have had the pleasure of befriending. The equipment is great, the price is great (even as a college student), and the 24 hour access came in handy many times. Overall a great place to train.

Experiencia fantástica: Orlando Barbell is a great place to train not only for powerlifting, but also general health and fitness. The gym has the multiple squat racks, benches and machines, as well as equipment that is hard to find anywhere else or completely custom to this gym itself, like custom-made squat bars, monolifts, and tires/prowlers/sleds outside. I have a great experience lifting here and never have to wait long to use equipment or run into any problems with broken machines or dirty equipment. This is the only place to lift in Orlando for me.

They are quick to include others and make them feel at home and comfortable with the environment as well as push them towards success.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to Orlando Barbell since 2011 and since January 2013 consistently. In the North Orlando area, there is absolutely no other place to train. The zoo health club does not allow recording, does not allow overhead presses, does not allow chalk, does not have any specialty bars, and does not have a good atmosphere. Orlando Barbell is full of great people, you just can't be intimidated by the people focused on their training. The people who know little will even help you out and tell you what they know and the experiences people will never hesitate to talk about training or any questions. The boards, bands, bars, benches, chains, chalk, and equipment are all top of the line. Everything a general fitness person would need is there as well.

There is less than a handful of gyms in the whole of Greater Orlando that house nearly half of the variety of powerlifting equipment and tools that Orlando Barbell has to offer. The members at this gym are focused and calculated on putting in work in the programs of their choice and producing results and/or prepping for future competitions, just the opposite of what you would find at a commercial gym.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been coming to OBB for about ten years. I have yet to find another gym anywhere in Florida that offers the variety of equipment that you'll find here. While other gyms are closed, the 24/hr card access at OBB has made it incredibly easy to come in and get in a good workout. The staff and members of this gym are all incredibly nice and helpful.

They have all the equipment a powerlifter/weightlifter could want with the mentality of push your limits and lift big weight. Also they sometimes have a dog that you can pet and play with so 6 stars if I could.

Experiencia fantástica: Hands down one of the top five gyms that I have been to. Might very well be the top power lifting gym that I have been to. Their selection of specialty bars is wonderful. With the fact that the owner is is an elitefts coach, and has an all time high total, the potential for your growth. Physical and mental are limitless. The price of the gym is better then gym that would not offer you as much.

The owner, Brian, has record lifts in his weight class as a powerlifter: at 164 pounds he benched 622lbs, and squatted 825lbs; and he will also train people. If u want to grow, this is the best place to go!

Experiencia fantástica: I was a member of this gym for at least 5 years and since moving to the wrong side of town I miss this place. Nothing but good things to say about it, all the way around. I was 20 pounds lighter and twice as strong while a.member.
