Experiencia fantástica: I have had the opportunity to train all over the country due to travelling for work, and this location is one of the best when it comes to education, safety, and expertise. If you have the opportunity to work with Will, you will leave a better off person. He is one of those rare instructors who can speak gently and carry the same amount of gravity it would take another to convey while shouting. Will is kind but efficient and will help you get to where you need to go. regardless of if you are a seasoned fighter, or curious about fitness/self defense, this is an excellent place to start.

Ten Months later, I feel much more confident on how to handle a potentially threatening situation. Here, you receive a great workout, while being trained by super-friendly and knowledgeable instructors. This was the only Krav gym I found in the area with instructors with good BJJ skill, which makes a big difference. Definitely sending my cousin here!

The instructors are fantastic...you get an excellent workout while learning potentially life-laving techniques and you have fun the while doing it. As a martial arts and gym newbie, walking into this place was a bit intimidating the first day - don't let that stop you. Wipe your feet, get on the mat, and you'll find both the instructors and the class to be engaging and accessible. Re: membership - first class is free, and membership options are flexible. Note that no prices are posted online or in the studio. Talk to the instructors and they'll help you find the option that works with your schedule and budget. This is a contact sport and you will wear your bruises (sometimes quite visibly), but you'll be learning some seriously practical and valuable self defense skills. Feeling like a bada** is a bonus.

Experiencia fantástica: A group I'm had an event here that was basically a "sampler platter" of all the things we'd learn if we took classes. Besides having a great time, we learned a lot of simple, practical ways to defend ourselves, as well as tips to avoid trouble so we wouldn't have to. I'm a particularly slow learner and am thankful that the staff, in addition to being good at explaining what to do, was patient. From what I saw, this isn't a fighting style that requires you to be extreme, strong, fast, or whatever else. It's based on practical moves you can actually use in a bind. If you tend to go out a lot or just want the peace of mind that you're as prepared as reasonably possible, definitely swing by and give them a try.
