Experiencia fantástica: We are a military family, so move often, and if there was ever a gym I wish I could take with me on each move, this would be it! Not only do they have nearly every piece of equipment needed and it’s always clean, but the people there are always friendly—clients and staff! Not to mention, it’s never overly crowded! This is one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to and I’ll miss it very much! I’d recommend this place over and over again!!

Experiencia fantástica: I was a part of the Shred program for 6 months and loved it. I probably did more workouts during this time, than I’ve done in my life! I love the “family feel” of the staff and others within my class. It motivated me to get to the gym. After becoming pregnant, I had to cancel my membership and I had absolutely no issues doing so. I gave them the requested notice and was very pleased with how it was handled. I can’t wait to get back!

Everyone is so friendly and helpful! Facilities are always clean! New Management is doing a great job transitioning and making new improvements!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been a member of this facility off and on for the last 15 years and I’ve seen 4 different owners in that time. It wasn’t until 2 yrs ago that my husband and I got serious about attending regularly and joined the SHRED program. The new owners who took over in August are phenomenal. They were members of the gym and SHRED program for years before purchasing the gym and they are dedicated to the community and to making our facility one that can benefit all ages, fitness levels, and genders. There is literally something for everyone folks- from Move It in the fieldhouse for the kiddos to the fitness class for seniors at the gym proper. For those who are expressing concern at lobby hours- they are there Monday-Thursday from 6am to 8pm, admittedly there is no staff during the lunch hours. Hours on Friday and Saturday do differ as well, but other than the supplement bar, or needing to make a change on your account, the lobby is not necessary to visit if you are a member- just use your key card to get in. If you do need assistance outside of hours Jason and Sarah are easy to contact and extremely helpful! For those who had payment issues- the new membership administrator that took over in April had some transitional burps for a while- this is not indicative of ownership (old or new), but of a typical hiccup that can occur anytime there is a change. If you haven’t given Free State Fitness a try, I highly recommend it. We are very fortunate to have this type of facility with the wonderful programs that are offered in a town this size.

I wouldn’t mind having less news on the televisions, but that’s my personal preference. Plus, I can always listen to music and tune it out. Great job, everyone. Thanks for keeping it going. We need to support all the local businesses we can to keep our community growing.
