Experiencia fantástica: I have belonged to MAC gym for about 5 years. I love the classes and the teachers in the classes are always willing to give a little extra help. I was sick for some time and they did not hesitate to grant me a leave for sickness. My husband has worked with a trainer and was very satisfied. In spite of the age of the building effort is made to keep it fresh and clean.

Experiencia fantástica: Pros-tons and tons of free weights. Many machines, cardio machines. Nice place looks fancy. Cons -costs $30 a month. The major competitor is only $10 a month. Hours. They close earlier than the competition whom is 24 hours a day.

Experiencia fantástica: Great gym, awesome vibes, and nice staff. Always super clean, with a great variety of equipment. Free weights that go into the 100s, and functional training equipment like sleds, and a big tire. There are also a variety of classes for all skill levels, and personal trainers! With the addition of sauna, tanning, and protein shake bar this gym has great amenities. Other club members could definitly use a lesson in whiping down the equipment they use, but thats at most gyms you go to. 9/10 would reccomend to a friend.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a great gym and I really love coming here. A lot of equipment, convenient location, good hours. I would highly recommend it to anybody living in the area. I do agree with the other reviews that towels should be complimentary (this is the first gym I've been to where they aren't). Also, please update both clocks when Daylight Savings Time ends/begins! The clock in the back weight room is still an hour behind. Small gripes over all that don't take away from a fantastic gym.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been involved in the athletic and fitness industry for over forty years , both personally and professionally. I have trained in gyms from Maine to Florida , as working out is a daily occurrence and the first thing I do on vacation or a business trip is to find a gym. I have been a member of Mac Fitness before it was named such, and have watched this fitness center progress to it's current splendor. It is quite simply., one of , if not the finest , health facilities I have ever workout in. Professionally staffed and managed , the facility boasts a spacious and well designed layout , including beautiful amenities, lighting and decorum , and is meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean , just to start. Equipment is top notch ( Hammer strength , Cybex , Life fitness , as examples ) , maintained well , and updated regularly. The Mac has all of the prerequisite equipment for the dedicated athlete or serious fitness competitor , period . The Cardio space and equipment is impressive , and includes too wide a variety to list here. Just as important , the more casual fitness enthusiast will find the gym warm and inviting and appreciate the atmosphere as well as the layout of the fitness machine area . Throw in group classes , spin rooms, an impressive personal training area with dedicated , knowledgeable and professional staff , artificial turf and " cross fit" areas and equipment , the MAC fitness facility has it all at a price that is quite simply the best bargain out there. Kingston and the surrounding area is fortunate to have a fitness facility of this quality .

Experiencia fantástica: I dropped by a few times to help a young lady get a regular program started and she's doing rather well. A friendly atmosphere which is worthy if one is trying to get in shape or stay in shape. Either way stop by and let the environment set the tone.

Experiencia fantástica: Offers Silver Sneakers classes for senior citizens. I used to take one of the classes until we got another instructor who lead the class as if we were 20 year olds instead of older senior citizens. Sorry I cannot take the class any more.

Experiencia fantástica: By far the best gym in town... Huge space, great equipment, clean and friendly. Unreal value for $20 a month. Recent expansion is great, love the new spin bikes but get to spin class a bit early because sometimes they fill up. Even at it's busiest times there's still always lots of open equipment and the locker rooms are never too full. Highly recommended for people of all fitness levels.
