Experiencia fantástica: Friendly Staff, clean equipment...a real community center. This is a Y where anyone can feel "at home". While it may not be the Ritz-Carlton of gyms, it most certainly deserves a checkout if you are new to the area or visiting!

Experiencia fantástica: The pool is my place of exercise due to back issues. Loved my workout today! For those with kids.... they have a zero point entry pool with tons of fun for the kiddos. ( the other pool is for laps ) The staff are OUTSTANDING and I truly appreciate being able to swim for the first time since COVID. Wow I didn't realize I missed swimming!

Experiencia fantástica: I go to the YMCA for Tai chi water classes and arthritis classes. These classes are very helpful to me and the instructor's there are wonderful. There are many classes you take, the whole facility is great!!! With lots of family swim times, also.

Experiencia fantástica: Love love love the Y. It's a wonderful place to hangout with kids, with enriching activities and fun while you workout, soak in the hot tub, or just sit and read. It's also a place where you can find a diverse group of people to chat with.

Experiencia fantástica: They shared so much needed information that i needed without having to go into so much detail. I have always loved coming to the Y Since i was a kid. Now i am going to introduce my children to the programs they have now as well.

Experiencia fantástica: Programs for everyone! Just did silver sneakers yoga. Great instructor! Planning to take another class with Annie. Warm up with a treadmill or bike. Free!! Back at the y in person with Annie after 2, year COVID absence. Yay! Tried the better balance class today. Glenda is a fantastic instructor for better balance.Silver sneakers strength class is great too. Become a Y member today! Now doing SS yoga online!

Experiencia positiva: Good clean place to work out. I wish the full gym was open later but still a good place to exercise.

Experiencia positiva: They just replaced all their strength training equipment downstairs. It's all top quality now. My only complaint is that after school hours they allow middle school children to run around unsupervised. They almost started a fight while I was there, and they wonder around all the equipment without supervision or knowing how to use it properly. You could tell this happens a lot because adults seem to avoid the after school hours so they aren't surrounded by unsupervised middle school children when they're trying to work out. I'm also not a fan that they make you pay extra for a nicer locker room that contains the sauna. Why is that extra money?

Experiencia fantástica: Used to go to this YMCA all the time! I love that place! It's a great community connection and working out at the same time. Had to leave them since I move to a different town. Recommend membership classes if you're new. Everyone is super welcoming and accepting!

Experiencia fantástica: Positive: Quality Love the new pool use registration! Now I know when I can get a lap lane! And we know there aren’t too many at open swim before we come. The renovations are nice. The staff are great. I do wish they had sign up for the sauna and steam room to reduce capacity there too.

Experiencia fantástica: Love the YMCA. Play tennis there all the time. Great instructors nice courts. Exercise classes and variety of machines make it an all around place to stay fit.

Experiencia fantástica: Pain ruled my life for a long time, but the YMCA’s Power Water class has turned everything around! Sherri V is an amazing instructor who has helped me find balance and strengthen my core, my legs and my arms, all through working out in the pool. If you've had problems with traditional gyms and exercise classes, you should really check this program out. It's not an easy class, but it's really great at getting you the exercise you need when you can't manage land-based gyms.

Experiencia fantástica: Great people and facilities since the renovation! Plenty of sanitizing wiped placed strategically around the workout areas to sanitize the equipment.

Experiencia fantástica: Sherri VanDyke is my personal trainer and she is the best! I love the Y because everyone is so friendly and I'd you need help there is always someone to help you!

Experiencia fantástica: Love love love the YMCA! The newly renovated pools are awesome and warm. The lifeguards are great. The locker room is always clean. The kidszone is amazing also and there are so many great activities to participate in. Great facilities and a great staff! Also my daughter has sensory issues and the staff have been so kind and understanding with her. Our family is so grateful to go to the YMCA!

Experiencia fantástica: We have been members of the Y right from our first visit to Kalamazoo in 2013, and have met lovely people there who are the best of friends. We appreciate the diversity of the place that makes us less self-conscious about our lack of fitness. We did the morning hydrofit sessions for a while becoming Glenda's devotees, also a bit of yoga with Julie in the early evenings, but now prefer afternoon treadmills and machines for which they have plenty. With the Y it becomes difficult to find excuses to put aside vital physical routines.

Experiencia fantástica: If you haven’t visited since they renovated last year, you won’t barely recognize the place! It is beautiful, clean, and has everything you need. Parts of the facility did not get updated, but they still get the job done. I love it here!

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful since the recent renovation. Cardio equipment is still a bit dated but works as it should. I love the new stretching area that was put in by the weight room and the kids pool is wonderful for my little one! I do wish open swim times were easier to decipher on their schedule but that has nothing to do with the building or my experience there.

Experiencia fantástica: Best YMCA I've been too. Better pools too. Bigger. Has separate rooms for advanced swimmer and a hot tub. I'd recommend this hands down. Good attentive staff too.

Experiencia fantástica: Great place to swim. Indoor pools. Men's, women's and family locker rooms. Family locker room makes it easy when you have young children with you, everyone can go in the same locker room. The family locker room has several individual changing rooms and individual shower rooms. Staff is super friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: Been going here since I played basketball here at 10 years old. I now am an adult and have my own membership. Very nice equipment and well worth the price. Highly recommend them for kids sports and an adult gym.

Experiencia fantástica: The pool is amazing. The nationwide membership is awesome too. 2 close by locations plus the west coast when I go home to visit family. Clean facilities, staff is pretty okay. Love the racquetball courts and the classes they offer too. Having an app for both local locations is awesome as well.

Experiencia fantástica: Personally I enjoy the YMCA, many activities for all age groups, a good, solid core belief that benefits and protects all age groups. A great place to meet new people that have similar, healthier life goals. Plus I work there.

Experiencia fantástica: I love love love this Y. They just remodeled and it is fantastic. The classes are terrific, it is clean and the staff is friendly. My kids go to the kid zone and the staff is always accommodating.

Experiencia fantástica: Love the YMCA lots of family activities, and individual activities. Maple YMCA in Kalamazoo has holiday camps for kids and snow day camps!! The camps provide a Safe and fun place for kids to go while parents have to work

Experiencia fantástica: New renovations are remarkable! Makes the facility 10x more enjoyable, try the whirlpool and the hot tub for maximum relaxation!

Experiencia fantástica: The building may be a bit older but it has everything i need for working out and cross training. Our kids also go to daycare here. It is very affordable and they have a blast!

Experiencia fantástica: Been going to the portage YMCA for swimming arobics until Maple Streets y has the pool built. Those people are friendly and the instructor gives you a good workout.

Experiencia fantástica: I lap swim a lot and this is a great clean, bright pool, plus they have an age group/masters USA swim team. Plus PT warm water pool for young kids. What ever your exercise passion, they have it.

Experiencia fantástica: I love it at the y I go to maple street middle school and me and my friends go to the y after school and there is one bad thing on the basket ball court it's a little small but other than that the gyms cool
