Experiencia fantástica: I was fortunate enough to have met Jay early on in my athletic career. When I was a high schooler getting serious into training, I was given the opportunity for Jay to train me. We met by complete accident, but sometimes life puts the right things in your path at the right time. Jay’s knowledge, passion for improving performance, and magnetic personality lended to what was some of the most important - and memorable - training in my entire life. Jay showed me the expectation for what a top level athlete is. Fast forward 15 years later and I’m still enjoying a successful athletic career based on the foundations that Jay showed me how to build. I simply would not be the athlete I am today without Jay’s training. Jay showed me CrossFit back in 2005. I’m positive he’s held CrossFit specific certifications at least that long. Having bounced around to a few CrossFit gyms across the US, and knowing a few people who have opened their own gyms as well, I can count on one hand how many gym owners I’d met who have been around actively coaching and competing since pre 2010. If you want a tough workout with experienced instruction and a fun atmosphere, look no further than CrossFit Lake Forest.
