She continues to learn and grow every week She is obtaining her goals while having fun, making lasting friendships and gaining self confidence . I highly recommend this gym to anyone from beginners to high level gymnasts !

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter is a 9 year old level 8 gymnast. At the age of seven she came to me and stated that she wanted to be challenged, pushed and held to a standard that she knows she could reach with the right training. So I went on a mission to find that gym. We were coming from a gym that played around all the time, Coaches on their cell phones constantly. No structure, no gymnast who were offered college scholarships, no growth just a wast of time and money. I have heard many things about Hight Point Gymnastics Academy some good some bad but of course you can’t please them all. But what stood out to me the most was the excellent training they provide. I also knew that my 7 year old had very high expectations of herself and I needed to find the right place that could help her achieve those personal goals she set out to accomplish. I came in for a visit and have been here ever since. If you want a place that really focuses on your child’s development, skill and technique while creating a structured but positive environment this is the place for you. Gymnastics is no cheap sport and as a single mother it’s hard at times, but to know my daughter is getting the best training by Coaches and Staff who really care is all the motivation I need to keep her in. I don’t want a gym that will just pass her by and tell her she’s doing good and her skill is not up to standards. I want a gym that is honest straightforward and tells me exactly what it is not what I want to hear. The one thing I wish I could change, is getting her here sooner. We love HIGH POINT GYMNASTICS ACADEMY and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes her.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going here since 2020 in August. It has been the best place I’ve ever seen. It makes me so happy and so many coaches actually care about you and your mental health, there’s so many coaches that make a smile appear on my face every single day

Experiencia fantástica: High Point Gymnastics Academy is an incredible program that teaches young athletes safe & technical gymnastics while inspiring them to have fun and learn valuable life lessons such as hard work, dedication, teamwork, positivity, and self confidence! I was a competitive gymnast at HPGA from the age of 5 until I graduated from high school. Throughout that time I received excellent mentoring and coaching, and with the help of their 2 USAG Hall of Fame Coaches Rob Travers and Buddy Thorburn, I earned a D1 Scholarship to Michigan State University. Now, I have returned to HPGA to fulfill my dream of coaching at the place that always felt like home with the people that always felt like family! We strive to help every child who is interested in gymnastics or tumbling become the best they can be regardless of gender, age, race, background, or ability, so please bring your child in today for a free trial class!

Experiencia fantástica: We have the cleanest gym in NC by far, with cleaning crews coming in each night to maintain and disinfect our state of the art equipment. All of our coaches have been trained extensively on how to properly teach gymnastics and mentor young gymnasts by our 2 USAG Hall of Fame coaches; Rob Travers and Buddy Thorburn. HPGA continues to create a positive and successful environment that breeds successful gymnasts in all areas of our program including recreational classes, the amateur competitive team, as well as our USAG Junior Olympic competitive team.

Experiencia positiva: Coaches are not teaching properly , always checks mobile and asking verbally for kids do it without showing / demonstrating how to do it . Not friendly with kids very harsh and they are expecting a lot from 2nd class itself . Overall bad experience , at the end they give some heart stickers to some kids and for some don’t which made my 3 year old crying and not encouraging kids to come for next class. If kids don’t listen sometimes which is natural for 3 year old and coaches are not making them to Listen instead making them to sit at one place and talking very rude that makes any toddler to show more anger Would never go back to this gym Update : Floor manager Erin did contacted us in this matter and they switched my daughter to another class , the new class teachers are amazing my daughter enjoying going to gymnastics Changed review rating based on recent experience

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter has attended HPGA for several years.. she looks forward to going every day. She has gone from having been a dancer for several years to being an accomplished gymnast under their expert teaching. By its nature, in order to move up levels, gymnastics requires discipline and training. The competitive team works hard! That said, I watch the young children have a great time learning. I look forward to my daughter being at HPGA for many years.

Experiencia fantástica: The gym is great! I love working here and getting to know all of the families that come each week. Kids are learning new skills all the time and there are many classes for kids at different skill levels.

Experiencia positiva: ive been coming to high point for the past 5 years. and i would say it's an okay gym. i will say i have had some trouble with the coaches. most coaches leave after a couple months. if you end up trusting them it's hard so see them leave. for the gym itself, the equipment is fine. i would like to say it's the people itself that made me give a 3 star. the coaches and staff can really make or break your career. personally speaking i have had a coach tell me i wasn't good enough. now you may think that is constructive criticism. its not. its not being brutally honest either. just brutal. also half the time the coaches don't pay attention to you. they are mostly on their phones. if i ended up getting hurt and the coach wasn't paying attention, it's not responsible of them. overall the gym is fine. you just need to get past the staff itself. half of them look like they don't want to be there, or they will roll their eyes and be rude to you. now this may have been my experience that doesn't mean they can't change form the day i am writing this. good luck on your journey here.
