Wonderful teachers very warm and welcoming, beautiful space,and the studio is open and clean , variety of classes that are perfect for any level of experience. Highly recommend this studio, which has become one of the things I look forward to most every day! They have worked so hard to pivot and pivot again during the pandemic, and are now offering both excellent online and in-person classes (with safety front of mind).

The studio is perfectly heated and safe. Lots of parking. A great place to be a first timer, there is always time to learn, while focusing on one’s foundation.

Experiencia fantástica: Yoga is not something that I naturally gravitated to - in fact, it took me a long time and a lot of persistent "suggesting" from my wife for me to give it a shot. I still wouldn't say I love it, but I truly love what Allison and the team at Homegrown Yoga have been able to create. She has a unique ability to recognize what motivates each person and gently pushes them to get the most out of their time. If you are new to yoga, like me, Homegrown Yoga is a fantastic place to start. And if you are committed and experienced, Homegrown is an outstanding place to make your home.

Experiencia fantástica: After trying several yoga studios in the area, I can firmly say this is now my home studio! Even though this is a hot yoga studio, the studio is always clean and smelling fresh. Because they use radiant heat from the floors, you don't have to worry about being my the heater vent or having a whooshing noise when the fan kicks on. There is ample space and it never feels crowded. The studio offers special classes, like teen and inversion classes. I love that they practice Baptist's style yoga!! There's always a neighborly feeling - Everyone is so friendly and non-judgmental. It's not a pretentious studio and everyone is at different levels. The front desk staff are super nice. You can ask questions about the poses, items to buy, or memberships and feel comfortable and not pushed. I can't say enough amazing things about this studio! I highly recommend trying it!

Experiencia fantástica: As someone new to yoga, I was a little apprehensive but all it took was one class to become hooked. I absolutely love HPY and am so sad when I have to miss a day because of my work schedule. The owner and instructors are all awesome, accepting and motivational. Classes are challenging but you feel like you’ve accomplished something great when you’re done. Who knew that sweating could make you feel so great!

It's intense but fun, the instructors are incredible and anyone that can get me into full Wheel within my first 10 classes deserves 5 stars. I don't think I've done one of those in over 15 years! It would be my home base if I lived in NOVA. So great to have a place to practice when I'm visiting family in the area. The community and owner are so welcoming. 10/10 recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a wonderful community of people and you feel so welcomed. I started practicing yoga for my knee pain, back issues and to get fit. I have worked out in the gym before but have never had the impact I got from coming here to practise hot yoga. My body feels so whole and happy having practiced here for some months now. Alison is an experienced and gifted teacher which resonates throughout the class. Together with the Baptiste style yoga practiced here, it renews not only your body but more importantly your mind. The yoga poses practiced here can be done by anyone and very effective. Also here you find people of all ages and fitness levels practicing together. The studio is decorated beautifully and spacious. The floor is cushioned so you can practise yoga safely.

Alison, Andy, and Becca are all great teachers and friendly people who try and get to know everyone that comes in the door. Take advantage of the first month trial and student discount if you can. Alison has cultivated a supportive and safe community of yogi’s! The space is welcoming as is Alison and all of the regulars. Super motivating to be your best on and off the mat. I met Alison and was a part of her class for only one session but she was very inviting and encouraging throughout, all while pushing me to get outside of my comfort zone and do some yoga! The class was intense and she helped me modify everything I needed to in order to accommodate.
