Experiencia fantástica: Nice pool and hot tub! Also, MAJOR shoutout to the lifeguard. I don’t know him but I was spending time in the spa and these two older men who were also in the spa were kinda making me uncomfortable. He started getting closer and looked at me to check if I was okay. I see you You’re awesome Thanks for looking out for your fellow humans

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a member since this center opened and was then operated by Sentara, we used to be at Butler Farm. I am 76 and take classes like Tabata, Pilates, Aqua Blast, Aqua Zumba and Water in Motion. Love the instructors, the staff and the great members. Smiles all around . Best money we spend to stay healthy

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love this place. I haven’t been to a YMCA in years, and this location is a 10 out of 10. The locker rooms are absolutely beautiful, the pool is spacious, there is more than enough equipment for everyone to use. The staff is incredibly nice and the facility is overall gorgeous

Experiencia fantástica: My favorite YMCA location. It feels like you're going to a spa. Facilities, pool, locker room and workout areas are all clean and fairly new. The workout classes are fun and engaging. Both the pools are really clean, but they do have high chlorine. You'll want to wear goggles if you do lap swim...and wear a burner suit, the chemicals will kill your suits color and elastic fairly quickly. The staff is very friendly, they pay attention and get to know your name. They make you feel very welcomed. A perfect place to spend quality time caring for and improving yourself.

Experiencia fantástica: I just rejoined and I’m loving it! I was a member here several years ago when it was Sentara. I’ve been checking in every year to see what changes were made after the transition and finally after they upgraded the cardio equipment I switched back and dropped planet fitness. My only issue is the weekend hours. You really should extend Saturday to 7pm and Sunday to 5pm.

Experiencia fantástica: I took a Les Mills training course last weekend at this YMCA location and it was amazing! The training was awesome and the employees at this location were amazing! I personally got to know a Manager named Alfredo and he is one of the nicest and most sincere people you will ever meet. He cares about the people he works with and also about each person who comes into the Y. To add to how awesome this Y is, the employees take great pride in their facility. They made sure it looked spectacular and I have never seen a gym so clean. I will be going back to this gym every chance I get
