Experiencia fantástica: This Rec Center is very well run and well equipped. My wife and I got certified here to be belay-ers for the rock climbing they have. When you take the time to do this, then you can go any Saturday and do the belaying for your kids which is what we did. Great memories.

I was playing basket ball and two employees asked for the ball on the indoor track, and they had a little competition. The female employee won by a landslide. I also went OFF ON DEFENSE. I WENT WILD. I GOT 23 SHOT SHUTDOWNS. WENT STRAIGHT TO THE GROUND.

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic recreation center with clean facilities, assortment of options (gym, basketball, classes, track, steam-room, rock wall, tennis and more) and everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. I especially love the Pilates classes and Liza is likely the best instructor I’ve ever taken a class under. She does a wonderful job making Pilates approachable and fun. Overall, I feel incredibly lucky to have this in my community and have had such great experiences at the Rec center.

Loved her zumba class was so fun and interactive! So many classes and so cheap. Wish i would have known about all their classes before.

Experiencia fantástica: Freestone is fantastic! I have been coming for the last 14 yrs and would never go anywhere else gym wise. The facility is beautiful and so clean with updated equipment. The staff is so very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. The group classes are stellar with fantastic instructors. It truly is a family atmosphere.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm new to Gilbert, just moved here two weeks ago and was looking for zumba classes. Found this Recreation center that offers lots of classes. Came to see what the "Drumming class" was all about. It has a mix of Drumming, dance and arm excercises too plus looks like so much fun. Got my membership

Experiencia fantástica: Good place for any activity minded individuals and or family. They are spacious and well equipped. My wife found them and joined immediately, I am going on a free guest pass for four visits. They are warm and welcoming making each visit easy and pleasant.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been coming to Freestone Rec Center for years. Complete with a walking jogging running track indoors makes for a safe, climate controlled run. Great during the hot months. This place is equipped with racquetball courts, two separate weight room’s, basketball and climbing wall. Complete locker rooms showers steam sauna makes this place great for a pre-work day workout hit the showers and off you go. Definitely worth the time.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this place. In fact, I drive 25 miles one way just to enjoy playing racketball here with my wife and sometimes another couple. Reserve your court a head of time to make sure you get a court. If you like rock climbing you do this while your here. Other fun things we like is ping pong, pool table, and fooseball.

Experiencia fantástica: What an awesome facility! This is almost a brand new state-of-the-art facility for recreation and fun. It really stimulates your desire to get fit. Located off of Guadalupe and Gilbert Road this facility has everything to inspire you there's a beautiful walk Jog and run path around the upstairs of the facility where you can see outside it's just so beautiful. I have never seen a City Recreation Center so nice. We play Pickleball there they also have basketball courts a workout area Fizz ball pool tables. You name it they got it. The staff is friendly and everything is just super duper

Experiencia fantástica: Price: If you are a Gilbert resident, it is only $26 a month or $200 if you pay annually. I recommend paying annually as you save the most money. Amenities: 2 story indoor rock climbing wall which is amazing! They have 4 sides of the rock you can climb depending on what difficulty level you want/need. Indoor walk/jog/run track on the 2nd floor. It does a bog circle around the center of the 4 full size basket ball courts. I love the track because during the summer months, I don't have to sweat like crazy. I can do this indoor track, stay cool, and not be stuck on a treadmill. 3-4 full size indoor racket ball courts. Daycare to take care of the children so that you can get a great workout in. Showers and lockers you can use so after you get a good sweat in, you can take a shower, clean, and put on good clothes before heading off to work. Pool tables and t.v.s. Wifii access. This place is great for both adults, families, and kids!

Experiencia fantástica: What a great place- whether you live in Gilbert or not! Lots of things to do- my kids love the rock wall, racquetball & basketball courts, while I enjoy the gym. My main concern before joining was that there wasn't duplicate weight racks and machines, but there have rarely been times where I've had to wait for a station to become available. Another initial concern was that they weren't 24/7 like some gyms- I've gone first thing in the morning when they open just after 5, 6:30, 8, 10, noon, etc- basically tried different combinations, and though there are definitely some times that are busier than others, I rarely feel crowded to the point where I don't enjoy my workout. The custodial staff does a great job keeping things clean, and management seems to be on top of maintenance for machines and cardio equipment needing repairs. Could there be more variety and some duplication? Sure, but for the small space, I think it's managed pretty well. Plus, when you consider that they're not a gym 100%, and factor in everything else you can do there, it's a decent price and definitely a reasonable amount to ask for all that they provide.

Experiencia fantástica: A great place to start if you want to get fit, take classes for something, or just have fun on the rockwalls or even the racket ball room that they have with is my personal favorite but you should always reserve the room first a day in advance.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is amazing! My family and I come out here almost everyday to participate in classes that are offered. There is something here for everyone for every age group from racket ball, weight lifting, basketball, track running and billiards just to name a few things. The classes here are also really good at engaging you and they motivate you to work out; in fact, the classes are my favorite part. In my own opinion, the best classes are the cardio drumming and muscle conditioning. I highly encourage anyone and everyone to come down here and bring along your families for a fun day of air conditioned exercise.

Experiencia fantástica: I am going through the process of regaining custody of my children. I have visits 2 days a week at the moment and I sometimes use the rec center to facilitate said visits. The people there have been so kind and understanding of my situation and have even given me free admission. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great family experience. I feel so welcome when I'm there and so do my children
