Experiencia fantástica: My granddaughter and myself really enjoyed ourselves at the Nuber YMCA.. We went several times while we were on vacation here in Memphis Tenn. I would like to give a Jennifer Rutherford and Mrs. Bateman a very big and special thank you from us both. You both made a very enjoyable time for us two together. The pool was very clean and well maintained. There was several lifeguards on duty. And EVERYONE at the facility was so nice and always smiling. If I return to the Memphis area again, There is no doubt that we would visit again. This was the best experience I have ever received from a business. I rate this YMCA a 10, 0 being the lowest and 10 being the highest. If you are in the area of the Nuber YMCA please drop in and take a look around. You will as well have a great time like my granddaughter and I have done. Thanks again Jennifer Rutherford and Mrs. Bateman we appreciate all that you ladies have done for us to enjoy our time here in Memphis. Two happy girls, Trish and Eko

Experiencia fantástica: We've been members to the Nuber YMCA for years. My grand children swim almost daily in the large pool. My wife and I lift weights on the tecnogym equipment weekly. Great place to keep in shape!

Experiencia fantástica: By far, the best place to swim laps in the entire Mephis metro. Open air when it's warm and a heated dome in the cool months. Add to that how clean it usually is, and I haven't met a staff member that wasn't friendly and happy to answer any of my dumb questions.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I live nearby and have passed this gym for years. We finally went in for a tour and joined almost 3 months ago, since he enjoys running and it’s way too hot to run outside. I have a peloton and adjustable weights at home but wanted to incorporate machines, barbells, etc. We are so happy with our decision to join! As others have mentioned, the staff is very friendly, on your way in and out everyday and tells you to have a good workout. I’ve been taking BodyPump classes regularly with Helen and I LOVE the class. Perfect full body high repetition workout. There are tons of very nice treadmills and the incline goes up to 20%, which is more than most people would ever want. They have almost every machine/weight apparatus you could wish for and I’ve never had to stand around waiting for what I need to open up. It helped that when we joined, there was a 20% off special so we will get that discount for as long as we are members. The pool is also great and they play good music! We love the Ric Nuber YMCA and would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a gym to join. Members are friendly and kind too!

Experiencia fantástica: Went to H20 Fitness today!! Mrs. Mattie is the truth!! This is my first time back since the start of the pandemic lockdown. You have register on line for a space in classes for COVID-19 precautions. It wasca good experience. I will be back next week!!

Experiencia fantástica: This place saved my life literally. 22 years ago I was a homeless, single mother of 3 boys under the age of 5,and sleeping in my van. This (organization), gave us a safe place to spend our time when I wasn't at work and the children at daycare. We had many activities to keep us busy and healthy. The location we were at had a big cafeteria, with microwaves and vending machines, along with a small laundry room. My children will never know we were homeless, because the YMCA kept us soo comfortable. Not only did my children learn how to swim before age 4, all of my grandchildren are mermaids.My membership has been accepted all over the country, in every state I've visited.I've NEVER had a single bad or negative experience,or met an ill mannered person on any of my visits.Today I renewed my family membership (almost post covid restrictions). And if you can believe it, there is a special and I received 20% off. Membership fees are already unbelievably low and income based, but 20% off? A "true place of all people".

Experiencia fantástica: It's a nice place to go swimming. Everyone has been friendly, but that goes for all of the YMCAs around here, honestly. The dome over the pool is nice, and it does have ventilation. I try to go when it isn't too busy.

Experiencia fantástica: You feel like a part of the community. The Y is a great place to exercise. My family has been members there for years now and I can say without hesitation that feeling comfortable and welcome is tops on the Y’s list of engagement goals. Everyone is very friendly at the facility - from the welcoming check-in lobby to the helpful people walking around in the fitness area, the goal is to help you have a comfortable fitness experience where you can be challenged physically and recuperate with self-care. I also recently completed a 3-part fitness regimen with a personal trainer that was amazing. Jarvis was the right trainer for me and I appreciate the intentional nature of ensuring that I was partnered with a good fit. We focused the sessions on core strengthening and it was outstanding. I’ve learned 10-15 new exercises and stretching routines to help strengthen my core and support problematic lower back issues. Jarvis was careful to ensure I was never in pain and at the same time challenged me to achieve a little more than I thought I could. He’s a great motivator and focuses on positivity and encouragement. I’m grateful to have a place like Ric Nuber YMCA to call my gym.

Experiencia fantástica: A family center. All ages can find something to do here. There’s numerous classes. Open to all ages. Kids can workout too. 10 and up can use equipment after an introduction class. Silver sneakers classes for seniors and field trips. Childcare is provided up to two hours while you workout. Swimming pool is open all the time. Even swim in the winter because a warm bubble covers their outdoor pool. The plus is memberships are good at any location. So no matter what part of town I’m in...I can get a workout or a class done.

Experiencia fantástica: Best gym in the area. Always friendly staff, clean facilities, and are constantly updating the equipment. Not to mention the YMCA membership is applicable to any YMCA in AR, MS, and TN.
