Experiencia fantástica: Hammock Coast Crossfit is great place! I did a Drop-in today (from CO) and Karen and Scott (Owners) immediately made me feel like I was at my home gym. I had a wonderfull class and I learned several new moves as well. A great facility, new equipment, and lots to offer. I highly recommend HCC to anyone wanting to try Crossfit or Drop-in while you're in town; you won't be disappointed!

Experiencia fantástica: I have ongoing positive experiences at HCCF. Coaches are all certified and very knowledgeable and friendly. Workouts vary every day and are challenging but fun at the same time. They are programmed in a well thought out way every week. The gym provides a great space and atmosphere to do your work with good quality equipment that is well maintained. There is constant improvement with new programs, equipment additions and activities. We are always learning new skills and receive constant education that promotes overall wellness and growth.

Experiencia fantástica: Great atmosphere and extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff! The ramp up was very focused on safe lifting technique and Karen worked 1 on 1 with me to assure we corrected any bad habits developed from several years of lifting alone. They have an accessible schedule of classes and focus in on strength training alongside their CrossFit programming. This gym has helped me break out of my fitness rut, by providing a great community atmosphere and challenging workouts! Check your pride at the door - I squatted 300+ lbs only to get my behind handed to me by a 35 lb. barbell Metcon the same day!

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough great things and this gym and staff! The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and encouraging, and the atmosphere is supportive and friendly - great energy. I never feel pressured to crank anything out or hit heavy numbers. This is definitely not a “bro gym”. We are encouraged to scale our workouts as needed, which is wonderful, especially if you’re like me and doing it for cross training and to improve my performance in other sports and activities I enjoy. I am happily addicted! 5+ stars

I love that it is fitness by appointment, that the coaches are well-trained and insure my safety, and that workouts are scaled so that I get a thorough workout at an intensity that is appropriate for my fitness level. Experiencia fantástica: The Ramp-Up program taught me more about weight lifting technique than my college sports lifting coach did. The diverse range of coaches all have their own super powers, ensuring you keep learning new things each week for months. Most of all though, the community of people is incredible. I'm in the 9th month of CrossFit at 43 years old and am having more fun working out than I ever have. HCCF is a gem of a local family-owned business!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Dropped in for a wod while staying at Pawleys. Karen and Scott were very welcoming; but even before I got there, they had great instructions for dropping-in on their website. The class was great. Very hot, but that’s expected—it’s the beach in June. All the members introduced themselves, cheered each other on through the wod, and helped clean up at the end.

Experiencia fantástica: I have seven years of CrossFit experience and I drop in at a few gyms a year when I travel. This is one of the best. I bought a 7-day unlimited pass and came four times including Murph! Karen responded to my texts at 6 AM two hours before I dropped in the first day. Karen, Scott, and three other coaches led classes while I was there and they were great! They are well trained and keep an eye on your form and offer solid tips. They aren’t overbearing either. The place is fully loaded with new Rogue racks and equipment. Floors and bathrooms are clean. Murph on Saturday was a lot of fun. I went at the 7AM heat and had to leave early after that, but it looked like the fun was just getting started. Friendly people who are nice and chatty but lock it up when it’s time to work. Good family atmosphere. Felt like home. No ego or pretense. I’ll be back again same time next year for our regular vacation.

The members working out were very nice and made us feel so welcome. I can't wait until we're back next time and can drop by the gym itself!

A true family affair, I took classes instructed by Karen, Hannah and Josh. I appreciated the scaling options and also the detailed instruction - being only a few months into CrossFit, I got several pointers to take back to my home gym to work on. Lastly, I loved the friendly and non intimidating vibe. A great place to visit and I’m sure a great place to make your home gym!

Coached my boys as if they would be long-term members. Made us feel at home. Great workouts - new/well-maintained equipment. Coaching was professional and welcoming. Experiencia fantástica: Terrific little CrossFit gym! Dropped in for a week during vacation on Pawleys Island and was immediately welcomed by the owners/coaches. The smaller class size allows the coaches to focus his or her time on each athlete for a very personalized experience. The equipment is top notch as well. Will definitely be dropping in when I'm back in Pawleys!

I reached out to Karen at Hammock Costal CrossFit and she welcomed me right in.. worked out 3 days this week with Coach Josh and crew and had a great workout. The instructions were clear and the motivation great. CrossFit is a community that welcomes all to their gym and all the athletes were great as well here. Experiencia fantástica: I will graduate from the ramp up class tomorrow. Although I've been working out for years it never hurts to brush up on proper form. The gym has excellent equipment, well-trained Coaches. I can't wait to begin the real workouts next week. If you're thinking you're too old or out of shape for Crossfit - give them a try and see for yourself. It feels great at 50 to be adding muscle!!

Experiencia fantástica: This is my first time really working out, I’ve always been intimidated by the gym, But after two babies in two years, I needed help. The ramp up program was so helpful to acclimate myself to the gym equipment and learn all the standard movements. The small Class size is such a bonus, for personalized assistance as often as needed. Highly recommend!!
