Experiencia fantástica: Honestly the best gym I've ever had a membership too. I have a habit of joining and cancelling memberships, because I lack motivation, the equipment sucks, the atmosphere is awful, etc. But this is the first time that I've found a place where I feel accepted no matter how athletically inclined I am. There's way more than enough equipment so I never have to worry about waiting or skipping something in my routine. Everyone is so polite and respectful. I hope to find another gym like this if I ever have to move.

They did go up in pricing which I'm not too fond of but I love the variety of equipment, the staff has always been nice and friendly, the new owner really changed up the place for the better. I really wish they were 24/7 since I am a first responder but hopefully that will be something offered in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been a member of this gym for several years now. I was here with the old owners and I was here for the transition into new ownership. Since Keith took over ownership he has made many improvements. Replaced/repaired old equipment, added new equipment, updated many areas of the gym overall. This gym caters to many types of fitness wants/needs. Whether you want to do boot camp classes, CrossFit, body building, powerlifting, or just an average gym rat, they've got just what you need. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. But if that's what you're looking for maybe look elsewhere and good luck to you finding it. Improvements are steadily being made and don't happen over night, y'all. You are given the opportunity to test the gym out with day passes. If you like it you have the option to sign up with a membership that does include a contract. It is legally bounding for whatever time frame is in the writing. Read it, understand it, accept the consequences if you try to break this contract. You either read it or you didn't. But you did sign it.

Experiencia positiva: Loved the way it used to be. Really missing that $40 monthly membership. Just being particular with this last critique but the front being closed off doesn’t feel as inviting when you walk in.

That's one of the greatest things about the gym. No a/c, equipment with time on it, huge/in shape people that will motivate you, the list goes on. If you are looking for space, great equipment, and great vibes, HOG is the answer!

They even have a 40yrd strip of turf, with power sleds and tires. Lots of new equipment. Dumbbells up to 200lbs, powerlifting platforms for freebar work. And plus. Its priced super affordably

Experiencia fantástica: This is one of the best real gyms in Austin, TX. their equipment in unmatched. It is a very serious training facility for serious athletes. They also have an incredible Sports Therapist (Body Rebuilder) in the gym. If you haven't checked this gym out yet I very much recommend it.

Keep in mind when looking at some of the less than 5 star reviews, that these people seem to think a gym will have everything for every demographic which is a ridiculous assumption unless your membership is 150/month. For an extremely affordable price, this is a great gym for recreational/competitive lifters, period

Experiencia fantástica: I personally love HOG. Everyone is great and the equipment is always working for me. It's raw and it's the best charm about it, no a/c going during the summer and you get a nice sweat. Only minor complaint would be having more plates available at times when everyone is lifting heavy.

House of Gainz has an old school intense environment with hip hop and assorted other music blasting constantly. A gym where you can go from ordinary to great along with becoming a strong badass person. I love this gym.

Experiencia fantástica: I wish I'd never set foot into this gym. Why? Because I live 2 hours from it. Don't expect bougie restrooms or pristine painted walls. Expect a real gym! Expect machines you've never seen before and stuff you have and can only wish they had at golds gym. I cant lie I played on the tiered level monkey bars in the back. Along with that, ropes, squat racks and not to forget a lying down smith press. Good music, positive vibes and a HOG as their logo. Experiencia fantástica: The most BAD TO THE BONE gym around! Work causes me to travel all around the country and world for that matter. And from Hillsboro Oregon to Dublin Ireland I get to see all kinds of gyms. People probably get tired of me talking about my home gym House of Gainz! I make sure any time they are near the Austin area or Texas for that matter to go to the best gym around! HOG Is the real deal from the machines you don’t see at other places to the outstanding staff! This place has truly earned the title as the MECA OF THE SOUTH! And for those who complain about it being to hot during the summer... you probably need to sweat it out. Lord knows I do!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone complains about the AC, but honestly why go to a gym if you’re not going to sweat? Go to Planet instead. Gym could use some updated equipment but it’s not meant to be a Golds or 24 Hour. Even though I’m not a super muscular guy, everyone here is super encouraging and motivating to help me reach my goals. Might see a bunch of extremely ripped people, do not be discouraged, they started where you are and are usually more than willing to answer any questions you might have.

Experiencia fantástica: Great Private owned gym. I've been going for over a year now, and this is the best gym I've ever been to. I recommend it to everyone. New equipment is added regularly. Staff is nice and helpful. No A/C only fans, this helps you get a great sweat in every workout. Most importantly, a great community. I've made lots of new friends by just hanging around the gym and working out.

Experiencia fantástica: It’s best gym you’re gonna find. It’s ridiculously cheap, it has the best atmosphere, best trainers, and every piece of equipment you could think of. The staff is always helpful, and the owners are always open to hear any suggestions or concerns. It has EVERYTHING from cardio equipment, free weights, machines, CrossFit equipment, a dry sauna, supplements, and gear. I wouldn’t trade this place for any other gym.

Experiencia fantástica: This gym is a gym above all others. Georgetown has never seen a facility like this. The atmosphere is amazing. You can’t help but push yourself to the limits while inside. The staff is amazing, friendly and knowledgeable of the products they provide. Owners are great and definitely put the customer first. They are always having event and appearances of major popular figures in the fitness world. Every trainer you see in the building is willing to help and give you advice on diet and techniques.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going here for a year now. This gym has almost everything you could want in a gym. The staff were always friendly. The rates are good for what you get. They recently installed a strip of turf track in the back which is nice for some more movements. They also have a ladies only area and a stretching area. My only complaint is that the music can sometimes be too loud.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm guilty. Guilty of straying away from my training...often. Yes, this gym has great music, the BEST equipment and even better trainers. Still, I've strayed. However, since the event of Harvey, the owners Derek and Victor and their team including: Carl, Ryan,Tait, Isaac, Ben P., Lorenzo and others cooperated with the city of Georgetown employees to personally save approximately 50 lives, hundreds of animals, send an 18-wheeler of supplies, AND make a large donation. This BEST describes the positive atmosphere at their gym. What did YOUR gym do?? For their generosity, these guys have my loyalty, my renewed commitment and even greater respect. God bless each of them and all who were effected by Hurricane Harvey.

The owners of this gym value the ideas of the American dream and will do everything in their power to make you reach your goals. Price and convience of other globo gyms (planet fitness and golds) see $$$ and not clients. Victor and Derek value each and everyone of their clients and will do whatever it takes to make sure your workout experience is exactly what you wanted it to be. They have everything you need and if they don't (which is highly unlikely) ask them and they will listen and do what they can. If you are on the fence about joining a different gym, all I would ask is to stop by and give them a chance and your mind will be made up!
