Experiencia fantástica: First off! I usually do not write reviews unless it gives me the "wow" factor. I am not a gym freak i'm just an average guy wanting a decent gym for a decent price. I never knew this gym was in my neck of the woods. I must have driven by it hundreds of times and never knew what it was. I finally decided to get back into shape and after some research I narrowed down the list. Element FItness or 24 hour. Both were near by but 24 hour had an initiation fee and some other extra fees I didn't like all that non-sense just to work out. Element Fitness was a hassle-free experience. I took a tour and I was amazed how big the gym was and how it offers a pool, a punching bag, lots of machines, massage area and membership includes all the classes that they offer. They had showers and a good size locker-room. Free Wifi for members was a huge plus! They are very affordable and no initiation fee's, just base price and tax of course. If you are college student, you get even more of a discount, which is outstanding! They are not 24 hours but that doesn't bother me at all. Just bring your own towel! This is definite hidden jewel.

Experiencia fantástica: Element Fitness provides a clean, spacious, welcoming gym environment. The new owners have worked so hard making improvements, and have more planned. As a mom, I am grateful for the childcare at Element Fitness. My daughter gets excited about going to Element Fitness, and doesn't want to leave when it is time for pickup. As a matter of fact, she refers to Element Fitness as "our gym." As a fitness newbie, the set up and atmosphere of Element has been a gift. It is cool & inspiring to see the range of fitness journeys going on at the same time. As a person with a chronic illness that sometimes has to use a walker, the set up at Element is a gift! I do not struggle with navigating the gym. I am still able to get to the things I need for my workout, also the track is spacious enough for me to walk on it with my walker without impeding another's use of the track.

Experiencia fantástica: This place has a great atmosphere. You feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door by the staff & motivated for your workout. They continuously keep improving the gym and keep it very clean! Definitely a great spot to workout!

Experiencia fantástica: EXCELLENT VALUE for the membership. I've used many gyms over the years and Element ranks as one of the best! The staff are welcoming and always helpful. The full schedule of fitness classes in their TWO studios is impressive, something there for everyone. Selection of equipment is very good. Indoor track with large infield area for stretching and "grass drills". I always look forward to my workouts. Certified personal trainers on staff. LOVE this gym!

Experiencia fantástica: This is the best kept secret in Johnson county!! The new owners have done an amazing job with this facility and are continuing to do even more!! It's clean, friendly, well equipped and lots of parking! The best part for me...the group classes. There is a large variety of classes at a wide range of times. Tasha rocks! The instructors have been there forever and are awesome leaders. I have a YMCA five minutes from me but I drive 25 minutes to Shawnee three to four times a week. It's THAT great! They even have on site massages!! Please give it a try, call a friend and come join the fun while improving your health.

Experiencia fantástica: So many great improvements already taking place by the new owners! They immediately replaced old equipment, installed a new track/new turf workout area, and added all new 70+ inch TV's throughout. The new addition of a smoothie bar and cafe area will be awesome! Karrie in the spa is phenomenal go see her for a massage! Great service from everyone and you can tell they care about their members.

Experiencia fantástica: We've been members for years. It's convenient and offers a variety of fitness classes with the membership fee. We also use the workout equipment. Great neighborhood gym!

Experiencia fantástica: Positive: Communication , Professionalism , Quality I’ve trained with the owner for a few years and this is the best spot he has had in KC. Pretty cool place for athletes to train for their season. Great place to hang around after my workout.

Experiencia fantástica: Plenty of turf space to do what I need as an athlete. Great coaches to guide me on my program and friendly staff when entering! The protein shakes from the cafe after a workout are a great convenience.

Experiencia fantástica: If you love a variety of great new equipment this is the place for you. If you love a variety of classes over a wide variety of times, this is the place for you. If you love awesome instructors that challenge you while keeping you safe, this is the place for you. If you love a great massage, this is the place for you. If you love going to a place where everybody knows your name, this is the place for you. If you want a place where you are comfortable being yourself, doing your thing, without a single worry about how you look or perform, this is the place for you. Honestly, how could this not be a place that you would want to try out and then call your own? What is holding you back? Come give it a go! You will not be disappointed. Your only disappointment might be what took you so long.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been here for the last three Saturdays for a massage with Carrie and she is amazing! Best massage I’ve ever had, which says a lot since I have only been able to experience the prenatal massage. Friendly staff that welcomes me every time and the cleanliness of the gym are both worth pointing out as well! I definitely recommend checking out the gym under which I hear is under new ownership!

Experiencia fantástica: WHAT A TURNAROUND. This gym is simply stunning! You can the LOCAL owners poured their heart and soul into the gym. The layout is fantastic and the bar/smoothie section is going to be such a great perk to all the members. Top tier gym!

Experiencia fantástica: Best selection for free weights in the area for the value. You'd pay alot more going somewhere else, and wouldn't get the same training experience. They also have a machine for every muscle group and plenty of treadmills if that's more your thing. A very nice local feel to it, while maintaining professionalism and cleanliness. Lots of renovations in the works too! If you're looking for a great gym, this one won't disappoint.

Experiencia fantástica: I have worked out here for years and have always appreciated this gym because it was not too large, nor too small and the group fitness classes are amazing. I am so excited now with the updates and the expanded hours. The new equipment, renovations, towel service and so much more are now finally allowing the gym to shine and raise the standard of a gym that already had so much going for it.

The gym has a crazy amount of equipment( cardio, free weights, machines) and enough variety to satisfy every type of fitness. I had a chance to talk to the owners and they are all class. Awesome gym. Awesome environment. Awesome staff. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I've belonged to this gym for almost the entire time I've lived in the KC area (a little over a year) and have loved it. I particularly enjoy working with my personal trainer, Tasha Ruble. Tasha is just the right mix of badass motivator and sympathetic to the aches and pains of my 65 year-old body. I have weekly personal training sessions with Tasha for an hour every Monday evening and she has managed to keep me fit in spite of going through hip replacement surgery recently. I would highly recommend this gym and Tasha specifically.

Experiencia fantástica: Today was water aerobics; lots of fun & hard work. They have lots & lots of water classes, as well is a full gym, cycling classes. Step classes & Silver Sneakers avail too. Also have good personal trainers. Not to mention massage services & facials!!

Experiencia fantástica: Love this gym, especially the free classes! I mostly use give pool, it’s never too crowded to do what you need to do on machines and no waiting for lap lanes. The pool is small, but you just do more laps. Take Beth’s water class on M,W afternoons - it’s fantastic and fun!

Experiencia fantástica: Clean and friendly location to do your workout at. They cater to an older age base, but it is for anyone, and means that normal busy times are typically slower here than your other chains in town. The have a massive free-weight area, and machines for every muscle group. Classes are included in membership, and there are many different offerings. They also have a pool and have massage/spa services on sight. As much as I want to keep this hidden gem a secret for myself, I can't help but sing it's praises. Only downside, is that things like the carpet and walls could do with a facelift as they are starting to show their age.

The atmosphere is STRESSLESS, Never too crowded, never intimidating, always meeting my expectations. The instructors are EXCELLENT! Classes well dispursed throughout the schedule. I drive 20 min from my home to get to Element. It's worth it!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I love Element! They are so welcoming and relaxed there, I wasn't intimidated to start working out. They have great specials when you first join, getting free meetings with trainers and a free message! Loved the training sessions. I go during the day and it's never crowded. I've gone on some weekends and weeknights and it's great as well.

Experiencia fantástica: I joined this gym about 6 months ago and absolutely love it! I like that its not a major chain and has a "family type" atmosphere. Karen is always so kind and the management has always been helpful. It's also very affordable and my 3 year old goes to the child care room often and the staff in there is amazing as well. Awesome place!

Experiencia fantástica: This gym is excellent. Clean, memberships are fairly priced, and the equipment is pretty much what you'd expect. Definitely a family vibe with childcare and lots of conveniently scheduled classes. There is a pool, and sauna's inside each respective locker room. Hours are convenient for either an early morning workout or after work.
