Experiencia fantástica: I began as a member with Ed's gym back in the early 80s when it was just a number of pieces of equipment in his garage (but stopped many, many years later as I developed my home gym.) He has grown to be one of the best, if not the best, fitness locations in the Northeast. Ed is always available to help with fitness questions. He is a former award-winning bodybuilding champion and powerlifting champion, so he has a wealth of information to share. Most importantly, his facility is clean, inviting and not intimidating to those who are new to this fitness regimen. If it is time for you to get in shape, then this is the place to go.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Bay Area fitness for about a week while I was on vacation and I have to say it's probably the best gym I've been to; at least the best equipped, they have hundreds of machines- some of which I'd never seen before - so it can cater to any routine you have and the environment is very welcoming. On top of everything it's very affordable at 8$ per day and 20$ per week.

Experiencia fantástica: Great gym! Everything you need. There are all kinds of machines for every muscle and organized on the floor by major muscle group. The free weight section is complete, such as you would expect at any major gym. There are also stationary bikes, elliptical machines, treadmills, stair climbers, and hiking trials behind the gym for cardio (see photo I took of map). I bought a three month membership for $95 and had to fly out, one month in, for an unexpected trip, and the owner, Ed, was able to pause my membership while I was gone. I had to tell him before I left, and it's nice that they are flexible. The gym has standard locker rooms and showers, a jacuzzi and coed sauna. There is a swimming pool, but it's seasonal. The upstairs area is for stretching, and there are tanning bed rooms there, but I've never used them. Overall, a great gym.

Experiencia positiva: Same cool place I've known forever. I go there to work the machines, catch up on the news, shower, swim outdoors in the pool and try to feel good. The doors and windows are open, which I like. So many fitness machines. Better than too few! Thanks, Ed!

Experiencia fantástica: I love going here. The price is better than anywhere else nearby, and there are tons of machines. It’s usually not very crowded, and I’ve never had to wait for a machine I want. There’s sometimes a friendly cat who wanders around the machines, which makes my visit even better!

Experiencia fantástica: Huge selection of equipment. Great prices. Really the only things I dont like. Is the staff not actively trying to help you. And the showers not having hot water. [Update] guess my quick shower is reason for hot water. So they do have it. And never technically asked about a trainer. So also my fault. You guys deserve 5 stars.
