The Basement Gym

Experiencia fantástica: This is a gym that will treat you like family. I was just dropping in for a week and wanted a place with some boxing bags. Usually, dropping into a gym can feel super awkward and sterile. However, the owner managed to make me feel welcomed like an old friend. They had everything I needed, and more. Everything was super clean, and everyone was super nice. There were also changing rooms that were spacious and private. The owner knew and greeted everyone personally. Every member had such a positive, welcoming attitude. Good vibes all around. Very impressed. Hands down - best gym in Florence.

Experiencia fantástica: Positive: Quality What a great find. I travel a lot and usually have to use hotel gyms or the larger chain gyms. The Basement gym was walking distance from my hotel. Had two great workouts during my stay. Lots of options on equipment and can accommodate any workout style. Go see Jamie if you live in the area or are just passing through.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this gym! It's serious about helping you reach your goals. No lunk alarms, they don't serve pizza and don't limit your weights or exertion noises like some of the trendy gyms. Hunter and Jamie are so friendly and welcoming. I have never felt anything but welcome here as a 53 year old woman training to become a powerlifter. And every man I have come across at gym has been polite and friendly. Great place and a fantastic environment!

If only I lived in Alabama! One of the best gyms I've been to across the country. Love the subterranean/Basement feeling.
