Experiencia fantástica: Big Sky Fitness is a great fitness facility in Farmington, CT that I would highly recommend for anyone who wants an amazing experience. It has nice, new, and clean facilities that include a gym, pools, tennis courts, and much more. Also not to mention the amazing staff that fit all your needs, are nice, energetic, and very helpful. I joined for the gym, and it was not a disappointment!

Experiencia fantástica: Big, clean gym. Great hours and very convenient. I go early in the morning. My favorite is Friday morning. Karenna works and she makes me feel like a VIP. Because of her friendliness I have referred many. If you do personal training- Jeremy is your man.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a member of Big Sky Farmington for a little over two years now. In my opinion, this is the best gym in the Farmington Valley. The gym is super clean, the equipment is well up to date, and the workout space is fantastic. As the building itself is a bit old and outdated, they are currently renovating the bathrooms and main lobby, which is great to see. Huge improvement! The staff at Big Sky Farmington including Karenna, Dave, and Zach are always welcoming, helpful, and very professional. The membership fees are super competitive and the best part is, you can walk into any Big Sky with one membership. Big Sky has my vote for sure!

Experiencia fantástica: I've had a membership at the Farmington location since 2019 and started working with my personal trainer Jeremy shortly after in an effort not to lag behind my friends when hiking the mountains of Peru. I hadn't planned to continue after that but his positive attitude and enthusiasm for what he does were infectious. In those three years I went from casual hiker to racing on the trails- he's helped me develop my passion, work towards my goals, and reach well beyond what I thought possible. I might have to put in the work and discipline, but he has given me the tools I need to get where I am. The Farmington location is my favorite due to the size and high ceilings, access to equipment, and general respect from staff and fellow members. I cannot wait until they renovate the women's changing areas but they always seem to be working on something to make the gym better so I'm sure its coming. The music is terrible but an easy fix with headphones.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my Gam Gam to work out here. Overall, she had a delightful experience, however, she did have some issues with my coaching. She said I was pushing her too hard and she ended up pulling a hamstring. Seeing as this was my first time ever coaching I thought I was doing a pretty stand up job. She only cried a little bit during the beginning, but I thought that she has adapted to the conditions of my work out plan. Unfortunately, I was extremely wrong and she ended up disowning me. I am no longer on her will and I regret to inform that this hamstring incident has also lead me to being kicked out. She keeps raving about how the gym would have been so great if I didn't go and ruin. So folks you've heard it hear first, Gam Gam loves the gym, but she no longer loves me. Attached are pictures of her enjoying the work out before tragedy struck.

Experiencia fantástica: Positive: Professionalism i have been a member of big sky for 5 years, and go to train 2-3 times a week. The staff is top notch and always willing to help with anything you may need. The owner also puts upgrades back into the facility, which is great to see.

Experiencia fantástica: Great gym! Helpful staff- there are some areas not yet renovated (like the lobby) but I believe are coming soon. The staff leaves you alone and isn’t pushy at all, unlike Healthtrax. Would recommend! It’s also very cheap and you can get some great deals and even bring guests for free (bring as many guests as you want, but each guest can only come once a month unless they pay small fee I believe). The classes are also included in the membership, so there are no extra fees there!
