Experiencia fantástica: This gym has changed my life. I took the Barbell 101 class having absolutely zero knowledge about anything that had to do with strength training. In the past, just walking into a gym was overwhelming because I didn’t understand the equipment and I had no idea what to do with myself. The Barbell 101 class changed all of that. I learned the what/when/how/why basics and now I feel confident and assured of myself. This gym has a heart and soul. The people are kind and always willing to help. If you’re looking for a gym with a sense of community, this gym is it.

Experiencia fantástica: This is easily the best gym in town and my personal favorite gym of all time. It is known for powerlifting and strong man, but is really much more than that. Northside has the best coaching and programming you will ever find plus it is an outstanding community of members to train with.

Not only do they have the best quality equipment there to train with, it also a no ego gym. Everyone that trains at Northside, no matter their skill level, is friendly, inviting and willing to help. Definitely the strongest gym in Alaska.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been at Northside before it was Northside... The growth and community is what this gyms heart is. It's never mattered how much I was lifting, the weight on the bar, No one cares. However, Matt has brought me to levels I didn't know I had. I've got more trophies than I do walls, and that comes from the support of a gym family. I'd probably still be stuck in a suit without you guys!

Experiencia fantástica: This is a fantastic powerlifting/strongman/strength training gym in Fairbanks, Alaska. The equipment it top notch, but I think the best part is the community. Everyone I've met has been super supportive and Matt, the owner/head coach is great. I've been really pleased with the results I've gotten from his programming and hit PRs in bench, deadlift, and Squats this year! It is admittedly more expensive than other gyms in the area, so that might be something to consider if you aren't serious about lifting, but I think the coaching and support available at Northside is more than worth it. 10/10 would recommend!!

Experiencia fantástica: LOVE THIS PLACE! I have lifted and been involved in CrosFit all of my adult life. Getting ready for ACL surgery and not having worked out in a while, I wanted guidance. Matt has been incredible with programming and the gym is full of welcoming people. 24/7 access is GREAT with my schedule as well. You can do anything you want to at Northside!

Incredibly welcoming gym with great people. Knowledgeable staff and the premier place for strength training and overall fitness for anyone and everyone.

Experiencia fantástica: A couple of years ago, my son was referred to Matt Sadler at Northside for a training program he runs for high school athletes. My son not only gained strength and speed for the sports he was playing, he gained self confidence and pride. He is now a member of the gym on his own. I cannot recommend Matt, his gym or his programs high enough.

Experiencia fantástica: Really great environment for anybody who loves lifting, as well as strongman and powerlifting athletes. The atmosphere is also very open and welcoming for anyone new to weight training. Equipment is fantastic—Rogue power racks, deadlift platforms and lots of implements for accessory training on top of all the strongman implements.

Experiencia fantástica: Started lifting with the owner in his garage and have been at the gym ever sense. I have watched the gym grow into what it is now. The owner is very hard working very dedicated on not just improving a persons strength but health and wellness. There is no better gym in Alaska and it is the only quality gym in Fairbanks. The atmosphere is amazing everyone is friendly and welcoming. In my opinion this is the best gym in the world. Come and get a membership I promise you will not be disappointed.

Not to mention they have professional certified coaches if you seek personal training or programming, on-site nutritional coaching, they provide youth strength training to the young athletes in our community and it is a clean, large, and conveniently located facility.
