Experiencia fantástica: I went to Barkes Fitness to speak with Ben. Immediately I was greeted by a member with jokes and laughter. This is not your traditional gym where you go to feel uncomfortable or afraid to give it your all. As I spoke with Ben, I watched members chatting and assisting others as they worked out. Very cool atmosphere.

I’ve worked out in more gyms than I can count and I’ve got to say, Barkes Fitness LLC is by far one of the best places I’ve had the honor of working out in. The atmosphere in this place is the best in town, period. When I walked through the door for the first time last Spring, I knew, I found my new home/gym. If you live in the Fisher, Noblesvilles, Indy, Pendleton, Fortville area, do yourself a favor and check them out.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the best gym I’ve EVER been to. And I’ve literally tried them all. Planet, anytime, LA, lifetime, MEI, YMCA, etc. and nothing compares. The equipment selection is amazing. Everything is clean and organized and always easy to find. Even when it’s busy there is always room and equipment and you never feel like you're in the way. The staff is nice, professional, and knowledgeable.

Experiencia fantástica: I trained at Barkes Fitness for a few months earlier this year. The facility was great, had everything you could possibly ask for, and was clean. The trainers were also knowledgeable and personable. I was also set up with a meal plan that (when followed) gave me the results I wanted. Leg day on Saturday mornings was a beast, but well worth it! Pro tip: listen to what they're telling you!

Experiencia fantástica: These people are all super fun and motivating. They push you but are very supportive. They are super knowledgeable too. The gym has lot of equipment and it's really clean and laid out well. I haven't worked out that much and they've been really cool about explaining what to do and correcting my form.

Experiencia fantástica: A lot of people ask how much time I spend at the gym everyday, prompting my query: " Are you asking how long I'm there? Or how long I workout?" This gym has room for the old school bodybuilder, the modern power lifter, the Olympic lifter, the yoga enthusiast, the silks performers, and anyone else who wants to join the fitness family. Hell, the gym even has a mini kitchen if you didn't get your meals prepped ahead of time, a massage table, break room, and a sauna. The kids room is a highlight for the little ones and accents the fact that the gym is a family friendly environment. Speaking of family, I need to answer my question. I spend about 3 hours in the gym. I catch up with Ben and Amanda for the first 30 minutes, if they're free, workout for an hour, perform any challenges Ben poses (I'll get around to my 1000 birthday burpees soon...), then either play with the kids or converse with other gym members in the break room for an extended period of time. As a member for almost 2 years, the staff and many other members have become my extended family. ❤️ It's a gym of people who are serious about fitness but can sit back and enjoy life. Sense of humor is required.

Also, the one on one focus with nutrition and exercise programs are customized and built around my specific needs. Like no other gym I've ever attended! Experiencia fantástica: I found 'The Gym' a little more than a year ago now looking for a place that I could finally feel "at home", little did I know that in such a short span of time I'd come to feel so at home that I find myself there as much to work out as I am to spend time with my amazing gym family. Crazy. If you're looking for a light hearted, yet highly motivating environment with a vast mix of equipment and a team that will go above and beyond the call of duty to see you reach your goals then this is the place for you! Did I mention we have a giant chalkboard goal wall?!
