Experiencia fantástica: The staff and adatpive equipment at Valemee has been beneficial for my son who has Cerebral Palsy. This gym allows him to maintain his strength, flexibility and coordination so he can remain functional as he ages. The adaptive equipment and modifications needed for him to engage in his exercise routines allow him to have the ultimate work out experience that benefits his overall health. He loves to exercise with friends and the atmosphere is energetic and supportive!

Experiencia fantástica: Valamee is a one-of-a-kind place! I never thought my 15 year old son on the Autism Spectrum would tolerate....let alone look forward to going to the gym! This place is amazing and have thought of everything to make this an enjoyable, but effective experience. My son can be challenging with his behaviors/aggression, but we are greeted with smiles & open arms every time.

I have taken my students to Valemee as a group, and referred several families to Peggy for personal training opportunities. We have also purchased and implemented the Valemee system at our school. Experiencia fantástica: My daughter Ali works out at Valemee almost every day. It has been a life changer for her physically and has boosted her self esteem and feeling of independence. Working out has not been easy for her in the past, but she now enjoys it. Peggy and the other trainers treat her like family. They go above and beyond to make their clients feel special, and they encourage and praise them no matter what their skill level is.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had the pleasure of working with clients at Valemee as a trainer. Valemee is an amazing resource for people with disabilities. Peggy Mills has created a system that teaches the importance and benefits of physical activity AND allows clients to be independent. I have personally witnessed incredible physical feats, a community that is supportive and caring, and individuals training to live a better quality life. Our community is so lucky to have Valemee. Experiencia fantástica: Calling all parents who have been looking for an exercise program designed to set your special needs child up for success, here is the program! Valemee uses all the support tools and programs that empower their clients to successfully work out in an encouraging environment. Their approach motivates their clients by creating custom workouts that is within their abilities. With each successful workout, their clients tend to workout harder resulting in better health. I’ve seen a lot of programs throughout my son’s life and their program is among the VERY BEST!! Note: This program is not just for children. My son is an adult and really enjoys his time there!

Experiencia fantástica: My son and I started working out at Valemee through a boxing class this summer and continued with personal training and open gym memberships. Valemee’s trainers are knowledgeable, upbeat, patient and supportive. Peggy has set up a system that is teaching both of us how to work out independently in the gym and we are both enjoying the results! The facility is clean and usually 1 or both doors are open for extra air flow. The trainers are constantly sanitizing the equipment. I left the best for last, they have a handful of adapted bikes that we can use to enjoy a nice long ride together!

Experiencia fantástica: An amazing gym that service the disability community. Myself I haven't really had a good experience working out at other gyms due to the staff not being trained to work with this population. But UFiT changes not only my life but others in the process. Keep it up UFiT.
