Experiencia fantástica: Soooo glad I found this place. I had gone to other PT locations since my rotator cuff surgery but they didn’t understand rehab for sports (baseball for me) like Barwis does. Alaina has been great and really understands the throwing motion I’m trying to get back. I highly recommend Barwis for any PT or training but especially if it’s a sports related recovery. Besides the physical therapy they also have a great recovery room, workout gym, locker room and other facilities I might utilize one day.

Experiencia fantástica: Never heard of Barwis? Well, you should know all about it. I am an aging athlete, almost 79 years of age. It's great that I can swim two thousand yards or walk/run a 5K or ride my bike for 10 miles, but that doesn't help me much in getting off the couch or out of a chair or with my range of motion, flexibility or balance. That's where Barwis comes in. My physical therapist, Joe Fiorelli, is amazing. He is so very knowledgeable. He has me stretching to help my range of motion and many exercises to help my balance, flexibility and, oh yes, exercises aimed directly at sitting down and getting back up. What makes Barwis even more amazing is the level of athleticism, enthusiasm and training going on around me. Whether it's someone disabled from an accident or a professional athlete either in or trying to be selected for the NFL, NHL, MLB or NBA, the energy coming from these young athletes is absolutely infectious. You cannot but try to do better. I even volunteered to do wind sprints with some of these athletes, but wiser heads prevailed so I'm here to tell the tale. To summarize, if you're training for an event or just for life; if you're recovering from a debilitating event or just want to be better at being you, Barwis is the place. Give it a try. They are unique in the broad range of services they provide and just as much in the quality of staff which is first rate. I have had Physiotherapy elsewhere but never as good as Barwis. On top of this, the equipment they have is state of the art so the physio can work seamlessly with the personal trainers to get maximum results. Top athletes go there and their training routines are mixed in with the rest of us and serve as positive inspiration. I am very lucky to have discovered Barwis.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot believe that I haven't posted a review about Barwis yet. This facility and its staff are heaven on earth. My entire family has trained here. More importantly, the professionals here worked tirelessly and personally to rehab my daughter after her ACL reconstruction. A college athlete, she returned to school stronger than ever. If you visit this place on a busy day, and you are not internally moved by the many walks of life that regularly train here (from those with spinal or neuro deficits, to aspiring high school athletes, to the pros that we watch on tv), you need to check your heart. Everyone is pulling for everyone here. It is a positive environment that I have not seen recreated anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm new to the Deerfield area and was on the hunt for a gym. My fiance had physical therapy at Barwis about a year ago after a car accident and raved about his experience. When I found out they offered gym memberships, I thought it was too good to be true. I've had a gym membership for the last 15 years. I've been a member of almost every type of gym out there. Barwis is one of a kind. I don't know whats more inspiring, working out alongside top athletes or people learning to walk again. If you're looking to better yourself or your health, or just want to hang out in a really cool place, check out Barwis.

Experiencia fantástica: I was sent to Barwis by my doctor to treat a rotator cuff tear and bicep tendon inflammation. After 4 visits and by following the home exercise plan provided by Joe Fiorelli and Dr. Kelly Terry my shoulder is 99% better and improving daily. I also want to compliment Laura Pitts their front desk person for her positive and friendly manner. Based on my experience with Barwis I highly recommend them. I just finished 5 personal training sessions with Megan Sundstrom with excellent results. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and effective. 5 stars. I recommend Barwis to anyone wanting to improve your physical strength and balance. Thank you Team Barwis!

Due to my career, I’ve worked alongside dozens of PTs over the years and I can say that without a doubt, Kelly and Joe are two of the best I’ve ever been around!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing facility, love that they are encouraging youth sports in the area. I was there for my son to tryout for their “FC Prime” kids travel soccer team. They have great coaching, facilities and team parents were lovely. If it wasn’t for Boca United, my kids would be going here! Any of you Active Sports participating people out there, this place must be your heaven!

Joe Fiorelli was my PT and not only was he extremely knowledgeable, but patient and compassionate as well. I left there feeling like I never had knee surgery. Experiencia fantástica: The best training facility I've ever visited. If you like to work out, try a Stay Strong class. The coaches will push you but understand injuries and regressions. The equipiment available is as varied as it comes. Workouts are challenging both cardiovascularly and muscularly. At the same time, this is a rehab facility that works with all kinds of injuries and abilities to maximize what a human body can do at any age and in any condition. If you're lucky, you may also bump into a major league player during off season. The music is uncensored and loud. The turf is a little itchy and messy but great to run on. Coaches Nick and Madeline are great.

Experiencia fantástica: I am not someone who enjoys working out. I dislike exercise and have been overweight my entire life. I have never seen results from a gym like I have at BARWIS! I started just a few short months ago at 190 flabby, disgusting pounds and today I am down to a lean 170 -- the best I have ever looked or felt. I did not accomplish this on my own hard work or motivation; I didn't diet. I have some of the amazing people at BARWIS to thank for this. Two of them stand out to me in particular that I'd like to personally thank: 1. Meshella. Every time I walk into the gym, I am greeted by the sweetest, bubbliest and most caring person I've met. She learns the names of every client and I don't think I could picture her without a smile. From the moment I started at BARWIS, she would tell me: "Take off your shoes, empty your pockets, let's see how much weight you loss this week!" And would follow up with a high-five every time I got off the scale. She pumps me up with words of encouragement, and after every work out is done, she is right there to congratulate me on being sweaty and sore. THANK YOU MESHELLA! 2. Jake. He is the trainer for the classes we take. I see him two, sometimes three times a week. He is awesome! He is constantly motivating us, making us laugh, making us sweat and making us ache. He has a fun disposition but he knows what he is talking about and just like Meshella, he knows his clients. Every week he changes his routine to tailor it a little more to his students. It doesn't get boring, it always gets harder. He has watched me lose weight and slim down and his response to it wasn't that he was proud, but excited to now help me gain muscle in place of what was once fat. He doesn't let us end a work out with a team cheer and shout. THANK YOU JAKE!

Experiencia fantástica: This place has been great so far. My doctor recommended me to come because of all the pain I’ve been having, esp in my knee area. My first visit I met with Nick and he examined me and was really informative regarding my current situation. I have come back 2 times since then and have been working along with Jocelyn who is absolutely amazing. She’s been helping me with my issue and explaining everything as she helps me so I understand what’s wrong and what I can do to fix it. They even have a cool app you can use that shows you the exercises to do from home during this process. The facility is nice & big, and the front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating. I really enjoy this place and highly recommend it for PT!
