PedalBox Gym

Experiencia fantástica: Haven't been this excited to write a review before! Let me start by saying this is the most fun, effective and friendly workout class I've ever been a part of. New to the Dana Point area, I was looking for a fitness class that wasn't too overbearing, a good way to interact with people outside the work environment and something that would keep me coming back. I had limited boxing and spin class experience, but I had knew both were great ways to get back in shape. I saw that the gym was only a few miles from my house, so boom, I called in to reserve my trial class. Right away, I was blown away by the PedalBox experience. It's relatively new and was started by a husband and wife duo who had an extensive background in personal training, boxing, HIIT and CrossFit. It turns out Jessica and Duncan are about the nicest, most welcoming people ever and are a wealth of knowledge both in fitness and injury prevention. Each class starts with a warm up and stretching period, followed by instructions on how to perform the day's workout and then the intensity builds from there. Don't be afraid if you don't know what you're doing, or you think you're too out of shape. Each class usually has about 5-10 people of all different levels and fitness. Jessica and Duncan do a great job of encouragement and pairing so nobody is over strained or under strained. This is truly a workout for all ages and levels. I've gotten to know so many local Dana Point residents since I've started, it feels good to workout with people all trying to accomplish their individual fitness goals. I seriously recommend this class without reservation! I am going on my 3rd month and I have to say I feel great and my cardio is sooo much better.
