Experiencia positiva: My husband and I joined the Y last Jan (2020, prior to COVID outbreak) we really enjoyed it quite a bit. I thought the facility was clean and had plenty of new equipment. Once COVID hit we stopped going and put our membership on hold. I was pregnant and really did not want to risk contracting COVID-19, the Y was really understanding and put our membership on hold no questions asked. After having our baby we decided we really would not feel comfortable bringing her to the facility to be watched just because of Covid so I went in to cancel the membership. The staff is very nice however I was quite disappointed to find that there is a 30 day cancellation policy. I understand that I am sure I signed something when we signed up acknowledging this policy but I have also spoken with staff several times since the pandemic started about canceling and every time they suggested I just place the account on hold. No one EVER mentioned or reminded me of the 30 day cancellation policy. At this point unfortunately we have probably spent $300.00 for something we did not use. I asked if there was anyone who could assist and waive the next monthly fee for us but all I was told was that it was policy. Unfortunately I think there is a way to waive it, they just won’t because it’s just a good way for them to get another $80. Bummer.

Experiencia fantástica: I simply cannot say enough good things about the Botetourt Family Y! I’ve been going regularly since they opened, and their staff has gone out of their way to help me in my fitness goals. The front desk staff is so welcoming, and always smiling, and greeting you by name after they get to know you! (Shoutout to Kelsey, Jessie, Emily and Marshall!). Upstairs, KB, Hunter, and everyone else working the desk welcome you and are willing to assist you in anything you need. Let’s not forget their wealth of knowledge with their personal trainers (Morris!), and their group exercise classes get you a great workout if you just have an hour. The Y means more then just a gym to me, it’s full of welcoming people who are encouraging and have your goals at the front of their minds. I drive past the Salem Y to go to this one because it’s so nice!

It is a great place to workout, build community, and take care of your physical and mental health! I highly recommend joining, it is worth the cost. I love you YMCA!

Experiencia fantástica: Visited the new YMCA for a swim meet today. Other than being a little short on seating for the spectators, the pool is fantastic! The new facility is beautiful and a great addition to the Daleville Town Center and Botetourt County!

Experiencia fantástica: Great new facility in Daleville Virginia where you can work out, take a class, drop off your kid at Childcare, swim in the pool, walk around the track, play basketball or volleyball, or sit by the fire and drink free coffee and use internet or read. Current family pass between 80 to $90 per month.
