Experiencia fantástica: I didn't think I could do it. I saw a new fitness studio being put together on Old Newport Blvd. next to the Electric Bike Shop. I figure why not see what they are about since they offered a free week. My mind and body were blown! The gym is clean, crisp and is bigger than you think. The Trainers are good motivators. There are options for exercises you deem to challenging and then you build up to them. I got hooked my first week. Georgia and Walt are great instructors. Both offer enthusiasm, support, corrections, and a great intensity to get you through the scheduled work out. Exercises have interested names and you form a lover/hater relationship with the most challenging ones (hate to start but love how you feel after). I'm an unlimited member now at a great deal! Classes offer you a way to track your calorie burn and intensity. I purchased the monitor (you can purchase the monitor at the gym or Amazon - same price) and I use it on all my activities from Walking to my Spin classes. I love how I can track my work outs. I love the summary I receive post work out, very detailed. I also started the weight management program at the gym. Losing fat and gaining muscle! Thank you Substance for bringing excitement in my work out sessions!

Experiencia fantástica: I recently joined this brand new gym on Newport Blvd and I LOVE it. The team is so awesome, friendly, encouraging, and so down to earth. They help you with your form and really walk you through the exercises as needed. I generally hate exercising but I look forward to the classes at Substance Fitness because they make it such a great experience. Clean facility, great people, excellent workout - highly recommend!
